Tried this tea out of curiosity and am very glad that we did. Such a wonderful surprise that we quickly bought more because it won't last long in our house. We love its lingering taste on our palates and its ability to stand up to several steepings. If there's an Oscar for tea, it's a winner.
this is impressively sweet on its own. such a roasty nutty slightly fruity sweet.

Love this tea--has the strength of a black and the subtlety of an oolong.
This tea comes packed with a smooth, semi-sweet floral flavor that I believe all tea drinkers should try at least once. Depending on brewing times and the amount of tea used (I experimented a little) it can become a tad bitter, or lack in its natural sweet notes, so I would say try brewing as instructed the first time around for the full experience.
Side Note: a friend recommended putting a bit of light brown sugar into a cup, and after trying it out last night, I can say I was pleasantly surprised at how well this tea mixed with it. I would recommend giving this a try as well, if you like a bit of added sweetness to your tea.
This Formosa Bai Hao is good, but not on the same level as the Formosa Fancy Bai Hao from the masters teas collection, or the Hsinchu Oriental Beauty from Adagio. I find the quality of the other two to be superior, while the price point is not cheap enough to justify the lower quality.
When this tea is steeped longer and I add honey to it, it's pretty good - but definitely not my favorite. A little bitter. It's a hit or miss depending on the steep time.
Very savory and slightly smokey in flavor. I mixed it with the golden monkey too, it tasted amazing.
I don t drink this one often because I m not usually in the mood for black tea. But when I do drink it, the dark chocolate notes I get with the bitter finish is just right for me. I wish I was in the mood for it more often, but I don t normally want any black teas.
A fabulous unusual tea ,bright and yet bold and ill like it strong steeping extra 3 minutes before consuming its floral sweet and a light spicy undertone I enjoy it very much so at the ,moment. my new favorite
This tea must have been the last of the year (as they didn't have the tea in stock for a long time). It has less taste than the past ones. Also customer service is attrocious on this site. Mutliple requests for help go completely unanswered. I am ready to give them another shot after going elsewhere, but this is the last shot.
Oolong teas are by far my favorite. So when I finally tried this one I was once again happy with the Adagio high quality oolong. So smooth and comforting.

Probably one of my favorite teas I have gotten from Adagio. It has a natural sweetness that is very pleasant and soft. I tiny touch of honey rounds the sweetness out.

The only way to describe this tea is very earthy, like a tree & mushrooms in a cup. I did not get any of the “incredibly sweetness” as in the description nor any floral notes as some people have reviewed. The second infusion wasn’t as bad but I still will not be buying this again.
Warm and floral, but nothing special. Still, a nice cup to have on a snowy day.

woah! I . . . .I did NOT expect the quality of this to be so great! Excellent even! With the right temperature and time, you get an awesome tea that's sophisticated and yet relaxed enough to help you in your plans on dominating the world. How can you go wrong? I'll probably go the full 5 minutes on my next cup ^^

Sweet and fruity, has all the flavour of a good black tea but still the subtle creaminess of an oolong. I really enjoyed this, an almost honey and cream like flavour.
Great Ooolong tea. Very smooth and the sweetness is just right, not overpowering.
I originally received this in an old sampler pack and really loved the peach stone flavor, so I purchased another bag. A mild flavored tea with some honey and stone fruit notes. Pretty forgiving in terms of steep time.
Another one of my favorite go-to teas, when I'm looking for something with a hint of fruit flavor. Sometimes, the other black teas can be too astringent for me (especially if I'm drinking teas all day), but the Formosa Bai Hao is a great afternoon / evening tea. Smooth, and sweet, with a hint of peach. It's just right, and worth the extra cost. A real treat!

I'm thinking I received a poor batch, because this tastes nothing like what others are describing in the comments. Very much tasted like low quality black tea.
This tea...wow. One of my favorites to drink around 11 AM or right after noon. The warm undertone is definitely prominent and with that, the finish resembles a very light but noticeable relation to a good young pu erh.

Lovely oolong. Darker than my usual picks but a wonderful sweet and full flavor. I steeped 3 times, probably could have done 1-3 more before losing flavor.

Fruity and leafy with that distinctive roasty quality that Oolongs share. Pretty light for one of the more 'black' oolong teas. Needs a lot of leaves for good flavor.

I have tried so many oolong teas hoping for one to wow me. Hasn t quite happened yet here. So many seem to have a bland general taste that is nothing special or unique and sadly I find this one the same. Not bad by any means, just is not unique.
