I am just starting to explore oolongs. I'm not good with descriptive words but I know what I like and I like this one.
This Taiwan tea, also called Fancy Formosa Silver Tip or Oriental Beauty, is one of the world's most prized oolongs. More heavily oxidized, yielding luxurious floral, peach-pit fragrance. Incredibly sweet and lush, delicate warm spicy undertone.

This tea is ok. It tastes more like burnt tea leaves than an actual flavor. Probably better for die-hard tea conoisseurs who can appreciate the subtleties and nuances of a tea like this.
I have not had much experience with oolongs but I found the flavor of this tea to be not very complex.
This is the best oolong I have ever had. The second steeping brings out hints of cinnamon.
excellent oolong - competes well with my all-time favorite Jasmine #12. Excellent flavored tea, and goes great as a mixer with other teas
Very full-flavored and rich. If you love Oolong, you really should check this one out.
Oolong #40 is my mainstay tea and I brew a cup (12 oz) every morning and take to work with me. Took some getting used to at first but is now an important start to my day.
Best Oolong I have ever tasted, makes great Ice Tea.
This is a very expensive tea, but I love the flavor. It's a darker oolong, but it's very delicate and fragrant. Worth buying more than the sample size.
hi
i absolutly love the oolong #40!!!
i am giving this for christmas!
thank you
I am loving this tea! I look forward to getting home from work and making some to sip for the afternoon. This is my first oolong but I'm looking forward to trying more.
What a wonderful flavor! This tea has such a smooth flavor, I love having a cup after a long day at work. It will definitely help you relax!
rich and warm. great for a cold day! drinking this makes me think of eating tea snacks like tea eggs and steamed bbq pork buns.
I usually go more for the ti kuan yin-style oolongs, but this one was very good. I've had 'fancy' grade oolong from other vendors, and Adagio's is definitely a keeper. Nice fruity taste, but smooth and subtle...superb.
This was a gift. My Mom loved it, I think she'll be ordering more.
This is a good oolong, although I am not partial to oolongs. Worth a try!
This tea is a wonderful mid day tea, with it has a mild taste.
This tea is truly as wonderful as they say! I love the full bodied flavor and it's a great way to relax with a cup of tea.
Best of the oolongs, has become a staple in my orders.
It is a very good oolong with nice earthy elements.
Nice oolong tea, similar to other oolong's I've tried, will buy again.
Very good oolong. Is really nice when black tea is just too strong of a flavor.
Very good, basic oolong tea. I don't often drink oolong because I prefer white tea, but I would order this again if I wanted an oolong.
This tea has a wonderful aroma and taste. It's one of my favorite Oolong teas.
Delicious, full flavor, this is a lovely sipping tea.
nothing special about this one, decent oolong with plenty of flavor.
This tea is wonderful! I combined it with the grapefruit and brewed a delicious pot of iced tea.
I love everything about this tea! The color, the aroma, and the taste are all simply perfect. It was definitely worth waiting for the new shipment to come in!
One of my faves - complex, rich oolong. Not too strong, not too smokey, not too anything.
My favorite tea out of all the oolongs. Just like a high quality restaurant. Stick to the steeping instructions closely. I am able to get several brews out of one batch. Smooth, soothing, not grassy or woodsy. Just verrry nice.
Smooth, very nice. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.
Here is the best oolong I have tasted from this vendor.
If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant type tea, this is the one. Very smooth.
A bit too pungent for my taste, but still a good tea.
This oolong was interesting though I would like to get others to compare. The amber color and musky smell make it a wonderful afternoon or early evening companion.
This oolong #40 does well iced. I prefer the #8 for its smoother taste.
This is a gorgeous, light tea with a natural sweetness. I had it with just a smidge of sugar, no milk, and it was definitely peachy-sweet. A refreshing drink overall, and it's made me want to investigate the Oolong teas extensively.
Gentle for an oolong - almost closer to a green tea.
My first exposure to oolong. Found it a bit overpowering. I think I will try the oolong #8.
A decent oolong, this tasted somewhat sweet and mild compared to other oolongs.
This tea is a dream from start to finish. The aroma soothes as it wafts from the beautifully brewed cup. Whether you are supposed to or not, I added a bit of milk and honey, and the taste is mild and sublime. Smoothe.
Compliments a hot meal with a subtle, distinctive flavor which must be experienced to be believed.
I was suprised That this tastes so good, it'll become a regular along with my white teas.
A very nice, simple tea that goes down smooth and tastes very mellow. I like oolongs for their versatility and this one is a good start.
I would not recomend this one any oolong fan. It is very earthy and dry. Black tea fans may enjoy it.
A very good oolong. Ranks amoung my favourite oolong to date.
One of my new favorite teas. A slightly 'earthy' taste with a hint of muscatel. Very smooth
I love oolong teas because they simply taste...regal. The flavor just seems to ooze class and distinction. While not my favorite oolong, oolong #40 is a sure winner. It's taste is somewhat more mild than my favorite oolong, ooooh darjeeling. Clean and crisp on the palate.
The oolong #40 was the first dud of the teas I'd sampled from Adagio. It tasted nothing like any oolong I've ever had (or would want to have). It tasted like a bad quality black tea that had gone stale and flat.
Yummy good, and a candidate for my 'if you could only have one' list. A complex yet refined flavour that's not overpowering. Needless to say, I'm reordering.
