This quality oolong is light and crisp, but a little too subtle for my tastes. If you like white tea, you might enjoy this oolong.
A rare tea from Phoenix Mountain in Guangdong province, China. Perfumy, orchid, and almond. Smooth and refined texture with flavors of fresh apricot, peach pit, and honey. Incredibly long finish. This is a tea to take your time with!

This quality oolong is light and crisp, but a little too subtle for my tastes. If you like white tea, you might enjoy this oolong.
Amazing flavor ...am having a cup right now...the aroma and flavor combination is so complementary...wonderful...so far my favorite oolong...
This was my introduction to dancong teas. I loved the aroma of both the dry leaves and the tea after steeping. However, I feel that the flavor of the tea was not equal to my expectations upon purchase. I do not feel that the fruity floral flavor was as prevalent in the tea as it was in its description and reviews. I will certainly try other dancongs in the future.
An excellent, naturally sweet tea. Perfect on its own, with a subtle fruity taste. Good for multiple steepings.
Upon opening the bag the smell had me looking forward to this tea. You can smell the subtle sweetness lingering in the leaves drift away into a more complex boldness. Taste was very similar and did not disappoint. Bright upfront deep red fruits, give way to a well rounded earthy taste that lingers. By far one of the best darker oolongs that i have had.
As far as arias go this was terrible. It doesn't hold a candle to 'Flower Duet' from Delibes' Lakme and 'The Torreador Song' from Bizet's Carmen. You certainly won't recognize 'Vesti la giubba' from Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci and 'Largo al factotum' (Figaro, Figaro) from The Barber of Seville in this deceptively named poison.
Very peachy, to the point of tasting flavored. Very glad that I got to try this, though I would not order it again. Also, the leaves are HUGE!
a really complex and almost fruity flavor when you begin to break it down which changes a little as it cools, definitely a must try for those looking to experiment a little in the way of fine teas
I really enjoyed this tea. Excellent in the morning with my breakfast.
I prefer this oolong over many of the others, I liked the upfront sweetness of it.
Good cup 'a tea. For the price, I would probably reorder.
This is the best tea I have ever had, I normally brew it in a cast iron teapot. It was amazingly complex and smooth, almost floral, and it had a very subtle melon - lychee sweetness to it. I recommend it to everyone, however it does lose a little of the melon - lychee quality on the second brew.
I really like the flavor of this tea. It has become my 2nd favorite Adagio tea, number 1 is Mandarin Green.
Not the best that I've had, but still worth trying
This is one of the greatest teas I've tried. I steep it for about 4 minutes and it's ready to enjoy!
I bought this from all the good reviews I saw. Maybe its just me, but this didnt do it for me, started off pretty bland and towards the end of the cup as it got cooler, the taste got better, but still I wouldnt buy again. Its not terrible, just par which I could do without.
Not my favorite oolong tea but a good change from some of the more bold oolong teas that I'm used to. Will definitely try it again.
Hands down the best tea ever for a cold winters night. Sweet aroma and rich elegant taste with out being too strong. Mac
citrusy, sweet, not my favorite oolong I have ever had.
A beautiful tea - Light tasting with a hint of fruity sweetness (peach or apricot?) and a subtle floral aroma. This is one of my top 5 favorite teas.
Wonderfully grassy oolong tea. Enjoy by itself or with a light breakfast.
The flavor was a bit too fruity for my taste, especially on the second and third brews. I plan on giving this away.
Very interesting taste, not what I expected but worth a try.
The peachy taste turns me off to this tea, unfortunately. Overall it's good quality, and I'd suggest it for someone looking for a slight, but not overbearing, fruity tasting basic oolong.
I really liked this oolong, but I didn't find its flavor as complex as some others mentioned. It is somewhat light, and has subtle fruity notes. It doesn't have much of the earthy flavor that is typical with most oolongs. Overall a great oolong that's good for multiple steeps. My only complaint is the price! =)
Wow now this is a really good Dancong tea that makes me wish I would have gotten a larger size than the sample. Clearly a lightly roasted oolong but the roast is more subtile than with most Wuyi oolongs. This one has a very nice light and sweet fruity flavor to it and a REAL honey sweetness to it that I would actually naturally describe as tasting like honey might have been added when I know it wasn’t on my own without being told that it “is supposed to” taste like honey. Not to mention that this tea holds up very well to multiple gaiwan infusions for me.
I love everything about this tea. There was a pleasant peachy taste and and wonderful fragrance. Ordered the sample and would definitely order the larger size.
I loved this tea. It has a nice light flavor. Defiantly something I'll order again
a subtle earthy tea with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Dancong Aria is a very nice oolong. Smooth and complex with hints of apricot. Surprising and certainly a favorite.
I feel like you can really taste where this tea came from. Surprising fruit notes.
A very good but expensive tea, I think it's even more multi-dimensional that the wuyi ensemble. The honey and flower (but danker flowers, not "pretty" flower aromas) predominates, but there is a secondary layer of oak, and bitter grape skins, and apricot. A very complex oolong that has a very long finish.
I'm not a fan of smoky teas. This isn't overwhelming - in that way - but it's not going to top my list.
Wonderful introduction to dancongs. Delightfully floral but not overpowering, and has a sort of a sweet and warm finish.
I love oolong tea but this one wasn't anything special-especially considering its price. I brewed at the suggested 212 for 5 minutes; will take other reviewers' advice and reduce the temperature on the remaining sample.
This tea is ...okay. It has the sweetness that some oolongs have on the back end of my palette. But then there is this strange drying aspect, which I do not care for. Maybe that is from the orchid/floral flavor?
Slightly grassy with a peach tast. Good tea, but not one of my favorites.
Has a lght pleasent taste, very happy with this sample and will order it again.
This made a pretty good cup of tea, but it was a bit woody to me. I didn't get as much of the peach, but I wonder if I should have brewed it at 180 degrees instead of 212.
A pretty decent black oolong. Still not that "one" I've been searching for, but something that can be easily drunk everyday.
Interesting! Definitely got the peachy/apricot flavors others talked about. Has its own sweetness that makes it pleasant.
This particular oolong has a stronger flavor in my opinion than the rest of the oolongs I've tried. Good with honey, but i'm not sure if this is one of my favorites.
Not my favorite. But, I also do not usually like darker roasted oolong. For me this tea just never seemed to have a clear flavor, it seemed watered down and muddled. But, someone who appreciates dark oolongs more than I do is likely to disagree.
This is the best oolong I've had in a long time. Be generous with the leaves and you'll be rewarded.
Very nice. The dry leaves have a light smell of flowers. The leaves changed from dark brown to a pale green during brewing. The tea was a pale amber in color, light in flavor. Naturally sweet, but not overpowering. Apricot more than peach, and a nice buttery feel. I yielded a good two infusions, the third was noticabley weak.
I liked this tea a lot, it was very different from other oolongs I have tried so far. Immediately after opening it, the smell of the leaves hit me. It had a mellow flavor though, kind of buttery and light but definitely sweet. Very good.
The dancong aria has a decided sweet aroma to it, and a lightness to the resulting tea. If you like fruity or sweet teas without being too heavy on the non-tea flavor, give this a try.
This is by far one of my favorites, hands down. It has a great full body to it, with hints of a sweet apricot. It has a smooth finish and leaves no bitterness behind. Great tea to enjoy anytime of the day.
Entirely unmemorable. Not bad, but nothing about it distinguished it in any way, shape or form.
This is a lovely rich and mellow oolong. Strong enough to drink in the morning, but also delicate enough to sip and savor when not rushing out the door.
