A great oolong, though very pricey, so probably will not be ordering often.
A rare tea from Phoenix Mountain in Guangdong province, China. Perfumy, orchid, and almond. Smooth and refined texture with flavors of fresh apricot, peach pit, and honey. Incredibly long finish. This is a tea to take your time with!

A great oolong, though very pricey, so probably will not be ordering often.
Amazing. I had to check twice to make sure it was just tea leaves. Tastes lightly sweet like apricot with a bit of nuttiness to me. Very enjoyable all-around, feels like all the flavors, texture, and aroma are in perfect harmony. It's on the expensive side to drink often, but I may just have to up my tea budget to make room for more.
I do like this, but I'm glad I just picked up a sample. The scent is definitely more lively than the standard black teas here, almost fruity, but the flavor itself doesn't strike me as exceptional enough to warrant a full tin.
This is a great ddition to the oolong family at adagio. I can compare it to #40 and darjeeling.
Beautiful beautiful body, flavor and aroma. This ranks almost among my favorites. Very traditional oolong. Not the best for multiple infusions, though.
This is a really delicious oolong, with a subtle and unusual flavor. A pinot noir of tea!
I love Oolongs like this. I think of them as the single malt Scotch of teas. It's a nice, mellow complexity.
I'm blown away by this tea. This was my first oolong from adagio, but it's definitely a winner. The aroma is floral accents. The taste is slightly nutty with a floral finish. This tea is magnificent for people who like a darker oolong.
I love oolong teas, and this is my favorite oolong yet. It has a good amount of body, toasted flavor, and sweetness.
Love the fine oolongs! This one could well join #40 at the top of our favorites list, and at a much better price!
This tea was a bit of a surprise to me. It had a good deep complex flavor, which I like, but it also had fairly strong notes of apricot to it that was quite pleasant. I will be ordering more of this.
First tea that ever "wow'd" me. Also the first tea to inspire a review. The description says "orchid" but I get a peach-y taste. My first thought was "I didn't order a blend with fruit... did I?" The suggested temperature is 212, but that makes it bitter. 180 is just right.
I liked this! Smooth and buttery with flowery notes!
It has a nice vegitable/grassy taste. A little buttery. I like this tea.
I think maybe I got a bad batch of this. I doubled the amount of leaves and still couldn't get any flavor out of it.
Very buttery and smooth.
Easily made six infusions.
I have little experience with dancong so don't feel entirely qualified to review this tea. I enjoyed it, but it didnt rock my world as I'd hoped a Dancong would.
Another great addition to my tea shelf. I like to randomly pick a new tea sample to try and this one suprised me. Will buy again.
A subtly sweet oolong tea, good in the early afternoon.
Similar to Ali Shan but quite as flavorful. Will likely reorder.
2.25g of leaf per 6oz water.
Not to sound corny but this is quite literally peachy keen! It has a wonderful peach taste w/o being over powering or artificial. A great tea for those who like sweeter teas w/o it being labeled a fruit flavored tea.
WOW...what a flavor. I read the description and had to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's a light amber brew, naturally sweet, slightly astringent in a pleasant way, light on the mouth feel, but with a great unique flavor. When I smell and taste it, I think of the tropics. The flavors in the description are quite accurate. Recommended!!!
A bit weak tasting, nice aroma and flavor but not robust enough.
very clean and crisp taste but it's a bit on the weak side
This tea is now my favorite oolong. It has the same sweet and nutty aroma and taste as the Wuyi ensemble, but with more floral notes and a sweeter aftertaste. I will be buying a larger tin as soon as I'm through the sample!
