This and Ooh Darjeeling are my two most favorite Adagio Oolong varieties and staples in my tea cupboard. The flavor is distinct with hints of honey and citrus. I enjoyed blending this in a 2:1 ratio with the Adagio Blood Orange herbal blend.
A rare tea from Phoenix Mountain in Guangdong province, China. Perfumy, orchid, and almond. Smooth and refined texture with flavors of fresh apricot, peach pit, and honey. Incredibly long finish. This is a tea to take your time with!

This is an interesting oolong. On first steep it has a tendency to be bitter and hard to swallow but once I lowered the temp and did multiple steepings a natural sweetness came out. Not my favorite but not terrible.
This was one of my first experiment into the world of oolong. It was good though I think in general I may just prefer black tea.
Robust, earthy tea, nice in the afternoon when I'm ready for something different. I'll definitely reorder!
pretty good, has a bit of a woody taste but I don't get much any fruit flavor like others said. I tried mine at around 180 temp, so maybe next time I will brew it a little hotter.
I really like this oolong. It's flavorful without being too dark.
This isn't bad, just not great. I'm not the biggest fan of real earthy oolongs, so for me this was just ok. It's naturally sweet and has a slight vegetal flavor. Light bodied and refreshing. Just not my favorite.
One of the first oolongs I've tried, this one is a step above - very much worth the purchase.
A great, flavorful tea. Would definitely purchase again.
Good but not worth price. I very much enjoyed this oolong, but I've had other oolongs equally enjoyable that were less expensive. I wouldn't buy this one again.
A very strange oolong. Hard to describe, very easy to drink, not a hint of bitterness.
I was surprised by the flavor of this tea. It had a nice earthy mineral flavor. The decription claimed that it had a nice floral aftertaste. I did not get much of that, but it did not take away from the quality of flavor. It's a very clean smooth flavor. Great tea, and a must have for every tea lover!
I don't know if I brewed this one right but it was just sort of ok.
this was a good bold tea but not my kind of everyday tea it wasnt floral enough
My new favorite! I love dancong aria because I am a fan of resteeping and this one resteeps particularly well. The first has an abundant, full-bodied floral character, while subsequent steeps mellow to gentler blooms. Honestly, I think Adagio's description is spot-on: 'Perfumy, orchid and almond. ..take your time... (it's) a tea that's got 'flowers' going on for days... no shrinking violet.' Yep. I got turned on to this tea during the roots campaign, received it as a sample, and ended up buying the biggest bag!
This is an incredibly sweet and fruity tea. Very good! One of the top oolongs I have ever had.
This tea is simply amazing. Subtle fruity and floral notes with a touch of honey sweetness. A very long finish, with many layers of flavors.
Wow. This is such a beautiful tea. I definitely pick up on the honey and fruit notes. This is way better than my former favorite, Ali Shan.
This tea is just amazing. The aroma when the package was first opened told me it would be special, but boy, steep after steep after steep, it just got better.
This one has a lovely fruity aroma to it, and an smooth, classic oolong flavor. I'm not sure how to pronounce the name (Dan-Kong? Dan-Song? Dan-CHong?), but the taste is sure easy on the tongue. :)
This is my favorite tea of all time :) It tastes almost like honey.
A surprisingly light and delicate sort of oolong.
I found this tea to be rather bland at the suggested 195 degrees, but if you do it just a bit hotter, but still not quite boiling, it comes out much better. However, it's still just ok. I prefer the Formosa oolong or Pouchong to this tea.
I don't taste the fruit like other reviewers, but it's a very delicious medium oolong with a touch of sweetness. It makes a great evening tea.
I love, love love love love love love love this darker rich oolong. This oolong has a nice rich very smooth taste. Did I say I just LOVE this oolong.lol
This tea is fantastic: by far the best oolong I've tried. I managed to get 3 infusions out of the leaves: 3 minutes for the first, and a minute longer for each subsequent infusion
I had to experiment a few times to get what I wanted from this tea. I think it's best steeped for less time with a tiny dash of honey added. This really brought out the flavor. It's a very light, soothing tea.
Very enjoyable cup. My go-to in the mornings right now.
The first oolong I ever tried, I tried in China and never knew what it was exactly. Since then I've been looking everywhere for it. The thing that stood out was a subtle peach taste and this tea has it. Very delicious and the tea I've been looking for the past 5 years.
WOW WOW WOW oh and i forgot WOW. The taste, the smell, the color all amazing. This tea reminds me of some yunnan black tea but lighter and a lot less bitterness. No sugar is required to enjoy this tea. Definitely a reorder tea!
This is a great oolong. It tastes more fruity than most I have tasted. I definitely taste the peach-pit flavor. A little woody too, but not as much as Formosa Bai Hao...
Thoroughly enjoyed this tea. Will probably get again at somepoint.
This is one of my favorite go to teas for any occasion
This was a good Oolong, but I can't say that there was anything (good or bad) that stood out about it.
Surprisingly good dancong, hearty warm woody flavor with peachy undernote. A little bitter if brewed for too long.
One of my favorite teas ever. Nicely sweet and different from most oolongs.
This tea has an amazing flavor - buttery lychee, slightly roasted. It doesn't have that woodsy-roasted flavor most amber oolongs have, which is another reason this tea is unique and delicious. Sadly, the flavor drastically weakened after two cups (but more cups is definitely doable), and the sample size doesn't give you ten cups -- more like five. Be generous with leaves, adding 1.5 teaspoons instead of 1. Probably gonna buy more of this stuff!
Very good! Loved the peachy/muscat flavor. Yummy!!
Not my favorite. A bit too bitter for me, even when only steeped a minute or so.
This tea is great if you're trying Oolong Tea for the first time, or if you've had a bad experience with them. It's light with a bit of a soft, peachy taste and is earthy without tasting like grass. A tasty, cozy tea :)
This tea was simply delicious. It contained some very delicate flavors and even a hint of peach. If it wasn't so expensive it would be an everyday tea for me.
Not a bad flavor, but based on other Phoenix Mountain oolongs I expected something a little more intense.
What a great tea. I love all the aspects of it. The taste was unique and this tea gives me a great experience each time I brew.
Has clear peach notes and is all around quite enjoyable.
Unexpectedly flavorful. I would highly recommend this Adagio tea.
Never had tried a dancongs before. Must say this is a keeper. It has a nice light flavor. Will order again. Give it a try.
Oolong teas seem to have complex flavors for me and this one is right up there. I enjoyed it but I can't give a fair review because Oolongs aren't my favorite. I did enjoy it though.
I know a lot of tea lovers really like this tea. I'm not a tea guru in any sense and I did not enjoy this at all. Maybe over time as my palate becomes better I could like this, but for now not a huge fan.
Also one of my new favorites. I like variety and this tea is a nice oolong that I would drink when I want a change. The flavor was full and nice but I think I prefer the oooh darjeeling.
Dancong aria is a very nice oolong. It is smooth and mellow with flowery hints and aroma. I love it when I'm relaxing.
