Very good nice creamy coconut flavor. Lighter flavor overall but very nice
Our velvety smooth pouchong lays the perfect foundation for the tropical flavor of coconut to shine.

Very good nice creamy coconut flavor. Lighter flavor overall but very nice
Smooth oolong with a strong coconut flavor. Steeped at 195F x e minutes. Tasty sipped hot or chilled. I enjoyed without sweetener. Would make a great blender tea to mix with other flavors.
I struggle with coconut flavored teas. Definitely taste like coconut. But also makes me feel like I am drinking my conditioner...
Nice subtle coconutty flavor and smell in this tea. I enjoyed it both hot and iced equally. Mixes well with other teas to make your own fun blends. Jul 2022 CommuniTea update: one of my fave teas, consistently great!
Nice coconut flavor. I brewed for 5 minutes at 190. Was enjoyable strength of flavor - not too weak.
lovely coconut flavor, mildly sweet without adding any sweetener
Nice choice if you are in the mood for coconut. I enjoyed with some honey.
Delicious! Such a nice, soft flavor. The coconut is there but not overwhelming in anyway. The light flavors mix nicely.
This reminds me a bit of chili lime green, but the backbite of the spice is replaced by coconut. Not my favorite on its own, but I can see this doing really well in a blend.
This brews into a lightly sweet, mild coconut drink. Added a little agave to help bring out more of the coconut.
Rich and coconut, I adore this tea! This is a must try if you like coconut, if you are not a coconut fan than it is not for you.
I accidentally oversteeped so it was a little bitter. The coconut wasn't as strong as I expected with the smell of it (& the name)
Beautifully smooth and perfect coconut flavor! 3 mins @ 195°F
This is a fun summery tea with hints of coconut. I think it’s best cold brewed.
First taste after steeping had a strong oolong taste but just barely a hint of coconut. After adding sugar the coconut gave the tea a nice creamy coconut flavor. It is delicious.
Type: Oolong
Ingredient First Impression: Sounds pretty good. I’m just hoping the coconut doesn’t irritate my mild nut allergies, no big deal.
Dry Aroma: Very nice, Creamy and tropical coconut scent!
Brewed Aroma: Stronger “Tea” scent, still has the sweet coconut fragrance.
Brew Color: Pale Yellow
Add-ins: 1 packet Splenda after first sip.
Flavors: Very mild flavors of coconut and “dried flowers” from the Pouchong Tea before adding splenda. The sweetener definitely brings out the floral and buttery flavors from the tea! I wish I had some real sugar right now because adding artificial sweetener to such a nice tea feels kind of wrong. The coconut flavors stay mild compared to the fragrance of the dry tea, but it does add some creamy flavor.
Additionally, it doesn’t irritate my throat, which is wonderful.
5/5 100%
Smooth and creamy tea, with a coconut flavor that is pronounced but not overpowering. I’m always a bit hesitant about green teas, but I didn’t detect any grassiness in this cup. Also didn’t detect any floral notes from the cornflowers, but I didn’t miss them either. This was a pleasant tea that I would enjoy again.
A light tea with a gentle hint of coconut. Very enjoyable hot and unsweetened or chilled and lightly sweetened.
The combination of green oolong and coconut is delicious and pairs well together. A bit of sweetener brings out the coconut.
Brewed @212 for 3 min. Flavorful coconut forward, enjoyable blend. Somewhat drying to the mouth.
I enjoyed this tea. It is buttery and I was going to say that it is mildly coconut-y but then I realized that I didn’t get any coconut in my communiTEA packet. Oh well, that just means it would be even more coconut-y which I know I would enjoy so I highly recommend this tea anyway. It was good hot with a bit of honey and it also made an excellent iced tea.
Maybe my favorite flavored oolong (though vanilla is arguably more versatile). The coconut flavor and quantity of pieces are just right-- not too much, not too little-- and the tea base itself seems to be of good quality so there are still the attributes of an oolong to enjoy underneath the added flavor. For me, a better coconut experience than Adagio's black offering or Earl Grey Bella Luna though both of those are decent too. Still, I LOVE many unflavored oolongs and only LIKE Coconut Grove Pouchong.
UPDATED 7-24-22: Today's CommuniTEA is Coconut Grove Pouchong. Upon opening my packet, I found a great sample of everything that's supposed to be in the tea. I made it iced with some tupelo honey. It was nice and light! Very refreshing. I have also had this tea previously with mango, orange peels, raspberry leaves, strawberry, and sourwood honey and it was very good. I have never had an oolong that I didn't like and would say you could never go wrong with this tea. I highly recommend it!
ORIGINAL: I brewed my Coconut Grove Pouchong wayyy less than intended. It ended up being room temp instead of hot. But I added some burdock and manuka honey to really bring out the flavors of this tea and it was fantastic! You can really taste the coconut. I would definitely recommend this tea!
I love coconut! I wouldn't have thought to pair that flavor with a lighter, green tea, but it works.
A delicious smooth coconut tea! I was pleasantly surprised by the enjoyment level of this tea. Coconut is hit and miss for me, but this one was a big hit! Summer warmth in a cup :)
The leaves and the tea have a very strong coconut smell, but once it’s brewed, the coconut is actually pretty mild. It’s well balanced with the sweet vegetal taste of the oolong, though I didn’t get any of the floral notes from the cornflowers I saw in the packet. A bit of honey brought out more of the coconut and almost eliminated the vegetal taste. It’s a good tea and I drank the whole pot with ease; coconut just isn’t my favorite flavor.
I very much enjoyed this tea. It has such lovely coconut flavor.
This is a delicious coconut oolong tea. I was surprised to see the steeping temperatures and times were so varied in the reviews. I steeped my first cup at 212 degrees for 4 minutes and it was amazing with no bitterness whatsoever. The second cup was brewed at 195 as suggested by Adagio for 4 minutes. I added a little bit of agave nectar to bring out the flavors, which were amazing even in the second (8 ounce) steep.
(Note: I am an Oolong lover.) This Oolong is smooth, coconutty and full of rich flavors. Sipping this blend immediately takes me to a beautiful beach, breathing the salty sweet sea air. I am reminded of the end of summer when the weather is just warm, and much calmer. It is the small moment of time when the summer heat isn't quite as harsh as it was for months before. The Oolong that is the 'calm' and reassurance we need, but in a cup. It whispers 'keep going' because the harsh days are gone. The days will be more gentle now. The overall taste, presence and aroma of coconut grove pouchong is delightful! Each cup is sweet/savory, hypnotizing and deliciously relaxing by itself or in blends, hot or iced. 4 min @195
Coconut dreamy, creamy, buttery taste and feel to this groovy grove-y tea! Love it in beach-y blends or by itself. I have only enjoyed it hot. Definitely shall try this Iced, at some point, however 'Hot' is my '🥥Grove' Groove. (4 mins @190°)
Delicious oolong tea with a nice coconut flavor! One of my favorites!
To enjoy this tea 🫖
You need to love coconut 🥥 ❤️
Coconut shines through!
Should be obvious,
Based on the “Coconut Grove”
And the fragrant tea!
A rich mouthful tea.
The pouchong base is perfect 🤩
Standing strong 💪, balanced!

I love coconut, and I really wanted to love this tea. But I have a love/hate relationship with green tea. Some I have found I really really love...and others...well, let's just say I have poured two or three cups of tea down the sink. I do not like vegetal or grassy tasting green teas...in fact, it's almost an aversion. Undrinkable for me. And unfortunately the green tea base in this blend falls into that No category for me. Nope. No. Lovely coconut aroma. But the green tea killed it for me. A green tea lover who also likes coconut would love this tea however. But, it's a no for me...not my cup of tea.
7/24/2022 - Still not my favorite. Drinkable, but not my cup of tea.
CommuniTEA: coconut options are tolerable cold brewed with enough water.
I’m not a huge fan of coconut in tea. I like the base tea, but maybe I’ll like it better with dried citrus in it instead of coconut 🫖
First time trying coconut tea and I must say it was wonderful. Great coconut taste. Will absolutely buy again!
I love the creaminess of teas infused with coconut. Coconut Grove Pouchong did not disappoint.
Best coconut tea that I've tried so far. You're in no way getting shorted on the coconut flavor. It's Quite a bit better than Republic of tea's coconut and way better than their chocolate coconut which was an expensive disaster. I like to add sweeteners to my fruit teas and that's where things got a little technical for me. Coconut sugar is an absolute must if you're going to add sweeteners, but if you add only coconut sugar it becomes too heavy and overpowering. I eventually discovered that the best result was to sweeten this tea about halfway with coconut sugar then finish sweetening it with honey. Enjoy!
This is a good tea, but the coconut is too mild for my taste (and in general the overall taste is too delicate for me). I much prefer the Coconut Black Tea, but if you just want a little hint of coconut, this might be for you.
the coconut makes this very smooth and refreshing! very pleasant. my favorite tea to cold brew.
I really enjoy this as my regular morning brew. It is light, but flavorful. Slightly astringent.
Great light tea with good flavor Tastes nice and summery Strong coconut flavor
Coconut is one of my favorite flavors and this tea delivers that delicate taste.
This is on of the best coconut teas I have found. What a great flavor and smooth finish. One that I will definitely purchase again!
The coconut flavor is strong but i found that steeping it for a while longer will give you the best cup as it’s a pretty weak tea.
This was ok. I hope it grows on me as I try various temps and times as I really enjoy coconut but that taste if faint.
I dig this one a lot—I’ve made it weak and I’ve made it strong, and it tastes better to me pretty strong and with a good sweetener, like honey. The smooth texture of the taste is to DIE for. So creamy!
The reason I purchased this tea is that I love the coconut. This tea did not disappoint me.
It has a really nice taste of coconut. Was not bitter at all and nice to have any time of the day.
Tried this first as part of the Oolong portions sampler and didn't know what to expect, delicious light coconut flavors and not at all grassy. I quickly ordered a 3 oz package, it might not be an everyday tea but perfect for a light afternoon cup. I think it would be delicious in a lemon-y blend.
Excellent tea any time of the year. The coconut tastes fresh - not like coconut in a candy bar - and it is subtle enough to let the oolong flavor shine through. This one is in my main rotation.
