I love this tea! First off, it smells amazing! I love oolong and I love almond so I was very intrigued by the combo. Very comforting.
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

I love this tea! First off, it smells amazing! I love oolong and I love almond so I was very intrigued by the combo. Very comforting.
I don't know what it was about this tea that I didn't like, but I wasn't able to finish the cup.
Delicious oolong with a hint of almond flavour. Wonderful, but not as good as the grapefruit in my opinion.
Not my favorite. This tea has a strong artificial marzipan flavor to it, so if that's your thing, you'll probably like this. I was hoping for a more natural, mild flavor, and this smelled like artificial candy.
AWESOME!!! This tea not only smells fantastic but tastes just as good. It reminds me of almond liquor. I will mix it with the chocolate and have it with my dessert tonight.
Good almond taste that is not too sweet or too overpowering
One of my favorites. Has sweet honey as well as nutty notes.
The initial aroma of the leaves is unmistakably almond, sadly I do not smell any Oolong at first and that made me a bit hesitant. After brewing the smell of almond subsides and the oolong shows itself. The taste is very mild, light almond and Oolong flavors for an overall subtle tea.
Absolutely delicious! It's the perfect amount of sweet already and needs nothing more added to it. If you love oolong like I do then you'll love this tea!
I was not impressed with this tea. Almond is a tough flavor to work with and added with oolong did not fit the bill. I however, find distinct tastes of quality oolong hidden amongst the taste of the almond.
Very drinkable, but man, the smell hits you like a train. I liked how nutty this tea was, but it doesn't seem very special to me.
An excellent nutty, but earthy combination. This tea gives the best of both.
I liked this tea but I didn't love it. I thought I steeped it long enough but the tea only had a subtle almond flavor, so maybe I didn't steep it long enough. The flavor was kind of indistinct as well, couldn't really tell it was almond. The tea was smooth and kind of creamy, which I liked. I'd give it a try if you haven't yet.
I love almonds, but this combination did not strongly appeal to me.
A pretty tasty, light tea with a hint of almond. The almond taste is much subtler than the smell of the tea would suggest. It's very drinkable, but probably not one of my favorites.
A bit milder than the regular almond, but nearly the same flavor.
I always want to like almond-flavored drinks, but the almond flavor inevitably becomes overwhelmingly sweet (to me, at least) after a while. This was no exception. If you like almond-flavored drinks, though, you'd probably like this.
I really liked this tea- nice and mellow, a great tea to drink on a cold winter afternoon.
I really wanted to like this one. Being a fan of oolong and almonds I thought this was going to great. The leaves themselves smelled wonderful though.
I must confess that I had never tied oolong tea before I tasted the almond oolong, but I will say that it was a great introduction. I enjoyed the flavor, not overpowering and nicely balanced. I'm glad that I have a second package on the way, as the sample I received will not last long.
This a great tasting tea. I love most oolong tea, this add just hint of something special.
Has a kind of fake-y almond flavor. And the smell from the bag is pretty awful. It smells kind of like plastic. It's an alright tea though.
This tea has a delicious almond scent and would make an excellent tea to have with dessert or for a brunch. It's not for drinking everyday but I like it as a unique treat once in a while.
I'm still working on how I feel about this tea. I've had it straight and with milk and sugar, and it's odd. I'm hoping as I continue to play with it, it becomes better.
Wow, this is a *strong* almond flavor. Almost TOO strong. The scent of it overwhelms when I open the bag and though the taste is lighter, it is still very powerful. Mellowed blended with the vanilla oolong, it makes for a good dessert tea.
This reminds me of almond cookies. It has a destert tea quality without using sugar or milk.
Still not wholly sure how I feel about this. The oolong taste is very much there. I don't know how much I'd like it on it's own (I mixed with some other teas) but I think with the right combo it'll really shine.
I steeped this tea at least a couple minutes under because I took a whiff ahead of time and it smelled great - a definite almost scent, but not overwhelming or artificially so. The taste was smooth and very drinkable. The best part is, now I can have a little something-something of almond to taste despite tree nut allergies. For this reason I'll probably try the hazelnut and almond black teas in the future.
I have never been a fan of Oolongs, and the almond flavor seems artificial here, resulting in tea that unmistakably smelled like Play-Doh! However, I am finding that it makes a good blending tea, where too much Ceylon would be too bitter. I'm starting to like it more.
Not too bad but the almond flavor could be stronger
I love this tea, it has a nice smooth almond flavor.
Maybe I simply got a bad batch but one of the packets' tea was very smoky tasting, sort of muddy and not as expected. The second bag makes better tasting tea. I found not steeping it too long helps to bring out the almond flavor and reduces the strong 'cooked' taste. Not sure I'll buy this again.
It smelled wonderful in the tin! And the taste was GREAT! Mix it with some peach oolong and really enjoyed that too. I love this tea!
Despite its overpowering almond fragrance, this tea is not too strongly flavored. A mild version of oolong, the almond component is almost too subtle. It's a nice tea, but not much different from run of the mill oolong or the vanilla oolong.
This tea was pleasurable, but the artificial almond aspect was a little bit too noticable
Ok flavor. HORRIBLE artificial aroma. Makes me gag for some reason. But like I said the flavor isn't as bad as the smell. Not my cup of tea. Will never spend money on it again.
this is a nice tea with the sweat smell of almonds. Not as powerful as the other almond tea.But it is a delight.I used 1 teaspoon.
I loved this one , i think it has a great balance of almond and oolong
Oolong is becoming my tea of choice and I like almonds, soooo . . . this makes a very enjoyable hot cup. The little woman gets one cup and I drink the rest. 2.2 grams is the rule.
In the bag the almond smell is almost too overpowering, and smells artificial, but once the tea steeps it becomes creamy and natural -- so delicious! It tastes almost like marzipan. I've had marzipan tea before but never anything that tasted this good. Outstanding.
oh wow, I don't drink oolongs as much as I should obviously because this was amazing. No milk or sugar added it tasted just the right amount like almonds. And when you dip shortbread in it makes the perfect combination!
I received this tea as a free sample and i was pleasantly surprised
This is one of my new favorites - I pair it with some (1-2tsp) Sugar in the Raw, which makes gives it the right amount of sweetness. It wouldn't be bad with a floral tea either - maybe rose or hibiscus.
Gorgeous scent. The almond flavor is not as strong as the scent, but what a good tea. Dessert-like with milk
Not bad but not great. The almond tastes artificially sweet. I don't really care for sweet teas.
This is a liquid desert. Excellent with almond milk.
This tea smells like amaretto in the pouch, and it tastes exactly like it smells. I couldn't taste much of the oolong under the almond flavor, but it was pleasant both sweetened and unsweetened.
I'm a big fan of oolongs, and I tried this one just for the fun of it. It's a little too 'flavored' for me, but I generally don't like any flavored tea. Not bad, but I don't plan to order again. If, however, you enjoy flavored teas, this one might be a good choice to try.
When I opened the bag, I fell in love with the smell -- sweet and almondy, rather like marzipan. The tea tastes as great as it smells. It has a smooth, almost creamy flavor and was sweet without even adding sugar. (Having the sweet tooth that I do, though, I added a spoonful of Adagio's amber sugar crystals.) Unfortunately, I made the mistake of adding a little half and half to cool it down -- I think it diluted rather than enhanced the flavor. Anyway, I think I have a new favorite tea!
So far, this is my favorite tea ever. This is the 'can do no wrong' of teas, the tea that aces a test and then asks for extra credit. It has a wonderful light, warm, nutty flavor. No sweetener needed, and absolutely divine with some chocolate chip cookies.
