Really strong smell of almond when you first open the bag. But definitely not overpowering when brewed. Pretty subtle but warm and tasty as a cuppa. And definitely a great tea use in a blend!
This tea is fantastic! Definitely one of my favorites that I've ordered from here. My mom is definitely not a tea drinker and always refuses when I offer her a cup, but I know she loves almond so I had her try this tea and she's hooked - she even asked me to make her another cup, which has never happened before!
i got this tea with my first order of adagio teas..i cant say i cared for it over much.
This has a creamy marzipan/almond flavor while still maintaining the integrity of the tea taste because of the oolong base. Perfect!
I liked how the lightness of the oolong played with the almond flavor. It had an intriguing grassy character. I suspect that, as with Adagio's other almond teas, sweetening it would bring out the almond flavor more, but I liked this tea just fine without sugar.

Absolutely delicious! This almond oolong has a deep, rich flavor that pairs wonderfully with vanilla or mild-flavored desserts. A cup is also a dessert unto itself!
This tea is absolutely one of my new favorites. The smell is amazing and it tastes so delicious! It has a traditional oolong flavor with a bold dash of almond. I add a bit of sugar and a splash of milk to mine.

This tea is very balanced. You can taste the almonds yet it is not overpowering. Brewed 2 cups with one tea bag.
I really wanted to like this, but it was just terrible. I think it might just be the oolong base that I don't like. It makes it taste like dirt and almost no almond scent is transferred into the flavor. I guess I just don't like adagio's oolongs.

I love this tea. It is perfect just the it is without anything added to it. The aroma is wonderful and the alsmond flavor comes through subtly without overpowering the wonderfull oolong flavor.
It's a nice blend of almond and oolong flavors, but I find that I prefer flavored black teas to flavored oolongs. Formosa Oolong is better because there are no additional flavors masking anything.

Absolutely incredible. I bought it thinking that it would just be a fairly good tea, but I can honestly say that this is my favorite tea to date. Very smooth taste that is not at all bitter, and the divine almond aroma makes it an incredible tea. GET THIS TEA!!!

This tea is... interesting. It has a very strong almond flavor, but it also has another flavor that I can't quite pinpoint. The more I have it, the more I enjoy it. I do add a little bit of agave nectar to give it a more desirable flavor, though.

This was a free sample, thank goodness! The almond flavor was so overpowering, I could not swallow the first (and last) sip.
I have mixed feelings about this one. Every time it tastes a bit different and it drives me insane trying to decide if I like it or not. At times, the almond is quite present throughout but at others the oolong base completely takes over that I forget I'm drinking an almond oolong. It could be due to my experimenting with the steeping time. I'll drink this blend, but I don't know if I quite like it that much.
Received this as a sample and gave it to my mother. She raved about it for days, so I bought her more. I think this may be her most favorite tea ever, and considering her collection, that's high praise.

This is a nice smooth tea and the almond isn't overwhelming. I usually drink my flavored teas in the afternoon when I need a kick of caffeine but find this is tolerable for the morning wake me up too.
This tea has a great nutty flavor! When I first opened it, I was overwhelmed with the smell and it almost smelled fruity. When brewed, it was subtle and the almond flavor wasn't overpowering, it was just perfect!
This tea practically kicks you in the face with the scent of amaretto. Unfortunately, that smell doesn't seem to affect the taste of the tea. It's very mild cup, with just a hint of sweetness.

My coworker and I can't get enough of this tea. She drinks it straight, but I add a little honey. It's fantastic mixed with the cream tea as well. With the cream tea and the honey, it tastes like an almond cookie. Highly recommended! I will be buying the biggest bag next time!

This tea is pretty good. The flavor is stronger than I'd like it to be but steeping time can be shortened to give a little smoother taste.

this was a little too weak for me. Not sure if it was the tea or how I brewed it. Will be trying again once I run out of my regular Almond tea.
I didn't think this would be something I loved but it's great! i love the light almond scent and I just really enjoyed the taste drinking it.
My kids even love this one! It is very, very good!
