i loved this tea! oolong is my favorite type of tea and the smooth hint of almond was enjoyable!
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

i loved this tea! oolong is my favorite type of tea and the smooth hint of almond was enjoyable!
Another great oolong, with a particular nutty flavor. Very enjoyable!
When you first open the pouch, there's no doubt this is almond! It smells exactly like a marzipan bar. The aroma lingers but mellows as it brews, leaving the tea itself with a pleasantly mild flavor. It's slightly sweet all on its own, so it doesn't even need anything added to it make it enjoyable.
I had tried the almond black tea and I didn't like it all but I decided to give almond oolong a shot...
If you like almond flavor it is absolutely amazing, mix 1 tsp with 1/2 tsp of vanilla black tea and add milk and sugar... *drool*
I was intrigued initially by the almond flavored, but found it overpowering, so opted for this instead. My grandmother makes a kind of Christmas cookie with almond extract and that's exactly what this tastes like. Naturally sweet, warm, light flavor and amazing scent. I will be buying more soon, because I'll be drinking this every day!
To me this tastes more like almond flavoring than real almonds, but that's not a deterrent. The flavor is actually slightly sweetish - I don't add any sweetener to this at all. It's very light and would probably be good iced as well as hot. I'll be ordering this again.
Bold cherry-almond aroma and taste. It's ok, just not something I like by itself. Not writing this one off, will blend it with something else.
The second I opened up the pouch to smell this bad boy I was immediately knocked on my rear. It smells like artificially pungent maple syrup. It didn't taste too good either. It reminded me of a wet dog.
The perfect breakfast companion. the sweet toastiness of the oolong compliments the almond perfectly, and creates a slight butteriness that reminds one of syrup.
I adore oolong teas, and this one wasn't an exception. Opening it, I realized it smelled exactly like a poppy seed muffin. Tasting it revealed that the smell reflected the flavor, and I am curious about how it would taste with a little vanilla flavor added to it.
I love almond-flavoured foods and teas but hate when they have an artificial sweetness to them. This tea doesn't have that problem. It has a good balance of almond to oolong and I can't wait to see how many steeps I can get from it.
I thought it was decent. Had kind of an odd taste.
nice almond flavor. no need for sugar because its seems to be on the sweet side by itself.
The smell just of the leaves in the pouch alone is utterly amazing! The taste is certainly nutty, and it's sweet enough on its own that no sugar is needed. Definitely a great tea to relax during the day with.
It reminds me of a cookie. Not to say that it is overly sweet (it's not), but it just reminds me of a yummy treat. It also goes nicely with sweet things.
I'm not a fan of this tea, it's a little too strong.
It's a nice tea. I guess I'm not a huge oolong fan, but it's good for what it is. I love the almond accent which is sweet and nutty and mixes well with the more complex oolong flavor which isn't quite bitter but isn't quite...I'm not sure what. It's got a mysterious flavor and though it isn't my favorite it's still pretty good.
Out of all the teas I have tried from this website, so far this is my favorite. I think it's much better then the almond rooibus tea.
Anything almond can be hit or miss with me, and this one is a hit. The almond smell is stronger than the taste, but its still quite enjoyable.
This was freaking fantastic. I got this as a side sample, but I am going to buy more for sure!
Strong almond smell, but weak almond taste. But the overall tea flavor is good, I just didn't taste as much like almonds as I would've liked to
I really love the nutty flavor of this tea. It was smooth and delicious.
The almond flavoring was too overpowering for me (especially in the aroma), but if you really like amaretto you would probably enjoy it.
I received this as a sample with another order. I can't say I would order 3oz or more of it, but I like it well enough. The aroma is more like candy than almonds to me, but the taste hits more similarly. It's a bit smoky in a good way.
I thought that this would have a nutty, smokey flavor. But, I was extremely disappointed. The flavor was artificial tasting and made you cringe.
I really enjoy the nuttiness of this tea. It will be on my list to use in blends and to buy again in the future
First off, this stuff smells amazing. I love almond extract, and the mix of almond and tea is lovely. If it were possible to snort tea...I probably shouldn't finish that sentence. Once brewed, the scent is of course not nearly as strong, but it still has a pleasant smell. The taste is mild and only vaguely sweet.
My new favorite, by far. It has a wonderful smell that is very familiar. I have yet to figure out why. The taste is naturally sweet and I adore this tea with a breakfast of banana nut muffins. Also, it is great with a hint of hazelnut creamer and a bit of sugar. It gives it a more dessert taste.
Nice mixed with hocolate hip and aramel. I also tried this alone and it was okay. I am going to say a better mixer than alone!!!
I really liked this tea. It's very smooth and smells delicious.
I really like this tea, I added just a bit of sugar and it tasted like an almond cookie.
Ok, so I've had good oolongs, so I know I'm capable of liking them, and I'll say this just isn't a great oolong for me. The almond (and I love almond) is drenched on so as to be bitter, and the oolong itself is too smoky for my liking. This ends up being a burnt-tasting tea. : (
This tea is phenomenal. It tastes great by itself or mixed with something else. I don't usually add any milk/cream/sugar to it unless I mix it with another tea.
This tea smells amazing and tastes great with a little sugar and milk.
It smells and tastes like marzipan. I love it!
nutty tea that is perfectly sweet. This is an amazing tea to mix with other flavors.
Loved this tea! very subtle and smooth, and smells tremendous out of the pouch.
The smell in the bag was fragrant and all almond. A sweet and light smell that just makes you smile. Once it was steeped it became something wonderful. A cup of Oolong that was smooth, rich and full of almond joy. I recommend this tea. A treat on its own or with a meal and dessert.
efinitely a favorite of mine. This tea is obviously nutty, mellow, sweet like vanilla almost, and smells insane...in a good way.
This smells like almond extract, which is great! The taste is not nearly as strong as the smell, but it does leave you with a great flavor in your mouth. I would drink this instead of having dessert after dinner, just to get a little bit of sweetness. Would probably also be great with chocolates!
I didn't know how I felt about oolong tea before I tried this, and now I know I love it. There was definitely a strong toasted, nutty flavor that went awesomely with my non-dairy milk!
Very tasty. My roommate and myself enjoyed it along side ranberry Green Tea cookies :) <3
This tea is excellent, I highly recommend it! Smells great too.
so good, never had anything like it! Smells incredible and has a nice earthy taste
I bought a sample and I probably won't reorder. It's not bad, just not great. Fairly mild.
With just a hint of sugar the almond flavor really comes out. Perfect mid-afternoon tea.
The almond oolong is great and it smells like marzipan!
Very nice light almond flavor, not overpowering. Lightly sweet, doesn't need any sweetening from my point of view. I was pleasantly surprised by this for an inexpensive tea. I was even able to do a second brewing of the pot with those leaves. Highly recommend you try it.
I am drinking a cup of it as I write this. The tea is very smooth and has a sweet, nutty taste. It smells strongly of almond but it doesn't taste as strong as it smells. This is a very comforting tea to drink. I would definitely order this one again.
While this isn't my absolute favorite tea, it was quite good with a dose of almond milk and some honey. The taste was a little astringent but the milk cut that.
