This was my first time trying oolong tea, and quite honestly, I regret nothing. This tea is wonderful and way more almond-y than I could have imagined. I'm very pleased with it. It's like drinking almond cookies.
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

This was my first time trying oolong tea, and quite honestly, I regret nothing. This tea is wonderful and way more almond-y than I could have imagined. I'm very pleased with it. It's like drinking almond cookies.
Good, but not great. I really enjoy oolong teas, and decided to try the almond as a sample. I like it, but it's not something I'd go to often. The quality is great, but the flavor just doesn't completely do it for me.
This tea was perfect for my sore throat and I was able to teach the rest of the day
I got a sample of this with a gift I bought and I loved it. It had a sweet smell and taste but it didn't over power the oolong.
Very, very almond-y! I actually liked it a lot but I was kind of surprised at the level of almond flavor achieved and initially hesitant to try it.
Happy I added it to the My Melody blend, but not particularly thrilled with it on it's own. Good but not great. Glad I only got the sample size.
At first I was worried I would be drinking liquid marzipan, but after brewing I was happy! The almond smell calmed down and was perfect. Flavorful and tasty!
I wasn't thrilled with this tea. It smells very nice - almost like almond extract, but the taste didn't live up to it as well. There was almost a hint of fish oil taste to it, if fleeting. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't particularly noteworthy either. I think I'll be trying a different almond tea.
Almond oolong has a very sweet taste. It has a very amaretto quality about it, and is sure to please any tea enthusiast with it's smooth taste and succulent aroma.
Earthy teas aren't exactly one of my preferences but I thought I'd give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised by it. I think the almond and oolong flavors complement one another very well. Even if you aren't a big fan of nutty flavors I recommend giving this flavor a try.
I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend, and he absolutely loved this tea!
Pretty weak and bland. I'll stick to the almond black instead.
I do not usually drink oolong teas, but I have to say that this tea might change that. The almond taste was very obvious and blended well. I enjoyed this tea hot and cold.
Utterly fantastic. The almond complements the oolong perfectly and adds depth and a slight sweetness.
Definitely not as simply delicious as the peach, which is my favorite. But it's calming and very centered.
I'm not a big fan of oolong teas. This one was better than any of the others I tried before.
I'm no tea expert, but this stuff smelled wonderful coming out of the bag (I had a sample). After brewing, it had a pretty subtle/mellow almond taste, but still smelled great.
I take my tea with milk and sugar - up until now. I decided to sample the almond oolong on a whim. Upon opening the package, it smelled amazing, like your favorite almond dessert or bread. I steeped the tea and decided not to put anything in it. You can say I was so surprised when I tried it and realized I didn't /need/ to add anything, but you definitely could if you wanted to. For me, it's best on cold days when the sun isn't out - a tiny fireplace in your mug.
Oolong tang with a nice and sweet almond flavor. It's that slightly bitter, licorice-type aftertaste. Still undecided if I'm a fan of the distinct taste. This is a nice added flavor if you want to blend with a not too sweet almond.
A great olong tea, actually my first olong. It was very good, it has a strong smell, but a slight flavor. Very good.
Usually I don't like extra flavors in my tea, but the almond works well with the distinctive taste of oolong.
Steeped perfectly within three minutes. Lovely aroma of almonds. The taste is not too overpowering, and enhanced with a bit of honey added in.
Didn't find a lot of flavor in this tea. Really bland to me.
Nice and I like to pair a flavored tea with a matching pastry or in this case a marzipan.
This tea was a really nice afternoon tea without anything added to it. It had a really nice flavor very much like an almond tea cookie
Very good even if I'm more of a spicy tea person. Very sweet, would love to find out what I could blend with this to make it more something up my ally.
I first tried this in the orchard sampler and I LOVE IT!!! I recently came back and ordered the 2 oz size. I just can't help myself...this is a tea I just crave. It reminds me of almond poppyseed muffins. It's also great mixed with the vanilla oolong as well.
I got this as a free sample, and I don't normally love almond, but it complements the oolong very nicely. It's a nice smooth tea with milk and sugar.
I will order more of this one, love this tea and I already finished my first bag!
Smells like marzipan in the bag and like regular almonds brewed. Smooth without sugar or honey.
We've tried about 15 different varieties from Adagio and really enjoyed almost all of them (Jasmine Pearls and Earl Grey Moonlight are our favorites), but this is not in our top ten. We found the almond flavor a little to strong and almost artificial. It might be good with milk if you are a fan of almonds... we prefer the hazelnut to this one.
Would not buy again. The almond flavoring buried the flavor of the tea under cloying sweetness without actually imparting the nutty flavor you would expect.
I love this tea when I want something sweet and hot to drink. The nutty flavor is lovely. :)
This was my first oolong and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I loved it.
The flavor is much better than I expected when I sniffed it in the bag. It's really good, and a little goes a long way.
The aroma is great, but the almond flavor doesn't come through very well in the tea.
This was a delicious tea. At first I was startled by the subtle tastes that came with the bold smell. While it smells strongly of almond oolong, the taste holds a more subtle taste, the almond oolong coming out more strongly in the aftertaste, though still not overpoweringly so. To me, the mix of strong scent and subtle taste was perfect. '
Nice lighter tea with true almond flavor. Drink iced.
This tea has a strong almond taste to it. It a nice tea, but not a tea I would drink everyday.
This was a great tea. I would really taste the almond flavor.
Second time I tried an oolong tea, and it was just as brilliant as the first!
Another one of my favorite teas! The Oolong teas are absolutely brilliant - and if you like almonds, this brew has that nice subtle nuttiness about it! Excellent tea!
In the bag it has a sort of artificial smell, as if a dry erase marker had been made with almond extract. As steeped tea it still smells pretty strongly of almond-y Things, but the taste is actually pretty okay. It's a warm flavor with a decent amount of character and it holds well on a second steeping.
I am not a huge fan of almond however it was very pleasant.
The oolong is wonderful, however at times I find the almond flavour tasting a bit on the artificial side. Must be careful not to oversteep this blend.
Delicious. It really smells like almond extract, which I think is a good thing (my husband not so much). It's nice and a little toasty.
I love almonds and oolong so this brought two of my favorite flavors together in a smooth blend.
My friend let me try this one and I just ordered it for myself. I love almond teas.
I enjoyed the Almond Oolong. It has a hint of sweetness and is cozy to have on a chilly autumn day. I would definitely be ordering this in the future.
I love this as a dessert tea, great with an almond cookie!
