I love almond anything, and this oolong has the right amount of almond added to it. Good job, Adagio!

★★★★☆

A calming, soothing tea. I love almond and adore oolongs, so this is just an overall good tea.

★★★★☆

I loved the smell of this tea when I opened the bag, and loved the smell even more when it was steeping. I really enjoyed this tea with a tiny bit of milk and sugar, which created a smooth, relaxing nutty flavor.

★★★☆☆

The smell was inviting, but the flavor didn't quite mesh well with the tea itself. Good concept, but fell short upon execution.

★★★★☆

Nice cup of tea. Not my favorite oolong but it does have a nice alond flavor.

★★★★☆

I tried this back to back with the vanilla oolong. Almond oolong is slightly milder, and far less sweet. It better highlights the earthy tea tones of the oolong itself with a gentle touch of smooth almond-marizpan flavoring.

The flavor isn't very strong, but it is still tasty. Great if you prefer a lighter tea. It smells stronger/better than it actually tastes.

★★★☆☆

I find this tea to be a disappointment. I LOVE the peach oolong, and I expected this tea to taste similarly. It tastes very artificial, and the oolong flavor cannot cut the overly sweet almond flavor. I was trying to try something new, but I bought 3 oz of this and regretted choosing it over the peach tea. I have finished it now, but I did not love it.

This was the first oolong tea I've ever tried, and the smell of it alone very nearly put me off of oolongs entirely. Other reviewers didn't seem to have this issue (or if they did, they were much more tolerant of it), but to me this tea reeked of decomposition. When I was first measuring it out, I hoped that during brewing it would get better. As the scent got even worse, I realized how wrong I was. However, as I sat there too afraid to try it, it cooled to the point of only being lukewarm and the scent was significantly reduced. Finally, I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It's a light, sweet brew with a very mild almond flavor right at the end. After all the drama of brewing it, I really liked this tea. I don't think I'll ever buy it again (my poor nose can't handle that), but it's enjoyable. If you're sensitive to scents such as I guess I am, you might want to skip this one.

I opened the package and just the smell was very artificial and medicinal. I decided to try a cup anyways. It just tasted like oolong with a weird after taste. I'm glad I got this one free. Not something I'd buy again.

★★★★★

This tea is so soothing, with a little milk its better than a cup of hot chocolate..

★★★★★

The almond flavor in this one is subtle, but very smooth and delicious. I'd order this one over the other varieties of almond flavors.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite oolong teas. It is very smooth and mixes well with other teas.

★★★★★

i love anything with almond, and this doesn't disappoint!

★★★☆☆

Brewed as directed, I was not impressed with this oolong. The oolong is solid, but the almond is imperceptible. I hope cup number two is better.

★★★★☆

I love oolong tea, and this almond oolong is no exception. Smells like marzipan and leaves a sweet, almond-y aftertaste. I'd like to try to blend it with a chocolate tea and see what happens! Sugar isn't needed, but makes it quite a treat!

Smooth, nutty, slightly woody, and perfect with just a bit of cream. It's very calming, and makes you feel like you're sitting comfortably around a fire.

Great nutty tea. You can leave the loose tea leaves in your cup/pot without over extraction issues.

★★★★★

This is my favorite tea-- hands down, of all time. I can't think of a single situation it doesn't go well with. Highly recommend.

★★★★☆

I really like the almond flavour of this tea. It's smooth, and tastes like marzipan. And a good oolong.

It tasted good, but it did have a bit of a chemical odor when I opened the bag.

★★★★★

I love the nutty flavor of this tea. Great for a fall evening.

We received Almond Oolong as a sample gift for our order and tried it tonight. We never had oolong tea before so this tea was definitely a whole new experience for us. Actually it was quite pleasant and while drinking it something about this tea felt quite relaxing. I do have to agree with some of the other reviews I've read regarding the taste. While it had a pleasant flavor it did taste a bit artificial. We will make it again until the sample has been consumed however I don't think we will purchase it in the future.

★★★★☆

Nice tea that blends well with other teas.

★★★☆☆

Wasnt a big fan of this. Really didnt get much of almond taste at all. Tasted more like a black tea. Just wasnt enjoyable and I am easy to please in the tea department.

★★☆☆☆

Well, the marzipan is really, really apparent. I just opened the pouch and the smell was almost overwhelming. It's probably more my fault than the tea's, but this one was just too sweet for me.

Bear in mind that I ordered a sample of this tea by mistake. It's not really my thing. The almond tastes funny and artificial to me. It's not going on my list of tea that I would order again.

★★★☆☆

Wasn't as sweet as I expected not bad just nothing really stood out.

★★★★★

I regularly drink jasmine tea and appreciate the subtle sweetness. The almond oolong is just as satisfying with a subtle nuttiness (in the good sense of that word).

This is a very good smooth tea. While smooth, it's also has a slight sweet taste, which make it a great compliment to deserts and/or pastries.

I do like the Almond Oolong, however, it isn't my favorite. But, I do recommend trying it!!

I will continue to have it, so I can have it with breakfast deserts or evening pastries, and for guests.

Don't miss out, try it!

I brewed it in an automatic drip machine. It came out very well.

★★★★★

This tea has a nice flavor with just a hint of the almond

★☆☆☆☆

This tea doesn't taste at all like tea! I could not smell or taste the oolong through the fake scent of almond flavoring.

★★★★★

Wonderful with a tiny bit of sugar in it. Very light flavor.

★★★★☆

I did enjoy this Tea, very Different from the others I have Tried, but enjoyable.

I love the smell of this tea and prefer to drink it with just a splash of milk in the mornings, and it goes really well with black teas and cinnamon as well!

This is love at first sip! Lovely balanced flavor. A bit of almond milk didn't hurt either!

★★★☆☆

This had a bit to much almond flavor for me, though I may have let it brew too long. Will have to experiment with steeping times.

★★★★★

A great flavored oolong, I like it as an occasional change from my standard oolong #8.

I actually picked this little guy out as my free sample. I gave it to a friend at work and she has assured me that it is delicious! The smell alone was fantastic though.

★★★★★

I thought this would be a little overbearing with almond but it was great. I can't wait to try more.

★★★★☆

Naturally sweet and smooth with a nice almond flavor. A little sugar/honey brings out a more marzipan-ish vibe.

While warm and nutty, I did find the almond flavor a little artificial tasting. AN UPDATE: My husband tried this and loves it. Says it's the best tea we've had from here. A lighter, crisper taste than black tea, and less earthy. So I'm pretty sure my problems with this tea was that I prefer black over oolong.

Wow. The almond fragrance and taste in this tea very much reminds me of the hot almond breakfast milk and the almond milk shaved ice dessert they serve in Taipei. In fact, it's a very 'east Asian' almond taste, and if you've had any kind of sweet almond dessert in Taiwan or Japan you will recognize this flavor. It's slightly artificial, but it's smooth, creamy, and sweet with a slight hint of cherry. The tea itself is light, and with milk and sugar it's a guilt-free dessert. I'm going to sample the black tea almond now, for comparison.

★★★★★

This tea is comfort in a cup. I had it with two sugars and it warmed me right down to my toes. It's as comforting as reading your favorite book, taking a hot bubble bath, or getting a hug from a really close friend right when you need it.

Holy moly this stuff is amazing. I find the overwhelming smell in the package a little much, but most of that goes away when steeped and you are left with an absolute dream of a tea!

★★★★★

This is a new favorite tea. I love almonds and oolong, and this give me the best of both.

★★★★★

Very pleasant fragrance and taste. Relaxing in the evening or nice way to start the day.

I often wait until I drink a tea twice before reviewing it. The first time, perhaps the temperature wasn't ideal, or maybe it was the time left to steep that was a bit off. Well, let's just say if I hadn't tried it again this morning, I would have rated it as 'awful' based upon my last time drinking it.

The first I drank almond oolong, it was very bitter (as if there was a 400:1 almond:tea ratio unwisely chosen) and I couldn't finish the cup. This morning, however, I chose to be careful in my portioning and let it steep for only 3 minutes rather than the 5 set as the upper bound.

This time, the almond flavour was much more harmonic with the tea's flavours. While it was toned down significantly, I wouldn't say it was anywhere close to being gone. In fact, it still cloaked the tea's taste significantly, but it did so... politely this time.

I think I'd drink this in colder weather rather than moderate temperatures. Something about the almond scent, if not the taste, seems to be the sort of comfort one wants in the darker months.

While I'm not sure I'd order more, I will certainly finish the sampler I bought.

★★★★☆

I found almond oolong more woody than nutty - more oolongy than flavory, that is - though it smells very strongly of almond in the bag. Depending on what you are hoping for from this tea, that's either good or bad news. I will say: the almond black tea reminds me more of candied almonds than fresh, and I think some folks will find that cloying. The woody character of the almond oolong mitigates against that candyish sensation, so if you'd like a more subdued nut flavor, not as sweet, you may prefer this tea to the almond black tea.

★★★☆☆

I come from a Dutch heritage and this tea reminded me of that, but it was almost too much. Maybe I brewed it for too long (I did try different times), but it just seemed that the almond flavor was not balanced. it was too strong.
