We weren't fans of this tea. I even gave this to a friend at work and she wasn't too thrilled with it. The almond is a bit strong.
Savory almond with Taiwan oolong tea. Smooth, nutty aroma, full and rounded body, sweet marzipan flavor.

We weren't fans of this tea. I even gave this to a friend at work and she wasn't too thrilled with it. The almond is a bit strong.
I wasn't sure what to expect because this was my first cup of adagio tea! It was amazing! Definitely will be re ordering this tea! :)
Very dull but adds a nice kick to other teas in need of some pazzaz. Recommend two teaspoons of cream, and maybe a chocolate flavor mix.
Nice almond flavour - a little artificial but still nice.
It smells wonderful. Has nice subtle almond flavor.
Very good! The smell of it reminds me of poppy seed muffins.
Pretty smooth, but kind of mild in flavor. Good with milk.
I love oolong tea, and I love almond. I am so glad that they have oolong almond tea. I am so happy right now. It's so good.
The scent before brewing is a bit artificial but not overbearing. I do get some nutty tones but it's not particularly sweet to me - the almond taste is very, very light. Wish it had a tad more flavor but generally a nice oolong. Also definitely good on the 2nd brew, a bit smoother.
This tea has a wonderful aroma and it is so delicious. I was delightfully surprised.
Oolong teas are so smooth. This is a great tea with the flavor of almond. I knew that I would like this tea from the moment I read the description.
It was good, but not enough almond. I really love almond flavor and this one did not have a strong enough almond taste.
Relaxing, delicate, nuanced. Delicious with a little honey and with or without milk.
I'm a fan of almonds and this is a great tasting tea
Lovely flavor. Not a huge oolong fan, so while I will likely not buy again, it was a great tea to try.
PMy daughter just love this blend. She loves the flavor.
Good evening/after dinner drink. It had just enough sweetness to ease my sweet tooth.
It tasted okay. I'm not terribly fond of oolong it seems. The smell was a bit off putting, however. I think if I liked the oolong tea more, I would have enjoyed this tea far more. But if you like oolong, and a semi-strong almond flavor, this is the tea for you
This tea was very nice in aroma but not great on flavor
I usually don't drink oolong, but I decided to try this as a free sample. It's not bad, but it's just not the type of tea I usually go for. It reminds me a little of marzipan!
I love this tea! Beautiful color and fragrance. A light satisfying cup.
This was just ok . Wanted heavier almond , would have liked it better
The almost taste can be a little overwhelming in this blend. Great when you have the taste for nuts, but if you are just looking for an oolong, I'd go with another option.
Very good tea. I love almond anything. I would have preferred more of an almond taste, very weak in my opinion.
Smells sweet and nutty, but leaves a bit to be desired on the palette. Doesn't pack the punch I was hoping for. Still a very good pick-me-up for that mid-afternoon slump.
Between this and the vanilla rooibos, I have to look no further for my favorite flavors. I had no idea that tea could taste so good without adding sugar, honey, or cream. So smooth and flavorful - I don't like teas that bite, and this one is as perfect as it gets. The almond flavor is light but evident - a perfect match for the oolong.
This was great - not quite as great as pearl jasmine oolong but still great!
I hadn't tried an oolong before I got this sample and I can't tell how much of the tea I can taste apart from the almond flavoring. Overall it's very mild and pleasant.
Really love this one--especially paired with summer rose! So yummy together! I would also pair it with hazelnut!
I love the subtlety of this tea. I enjoy it plain or with almond milk and honey. Almond oolong is one of my favorites.
I am not sure what to think about this one. This tea features more of the sweet almond aroma rather than the nuttier taste I was expecting. The scent is a little overwhelming for me, and I think much of the actual tea flavor is lost. Still, I am a fan of amaretto and this is rather much the tea version of that. Be warned, however: if you are not a fan of sweet teas or prefer toastier, nuttier varieties this may not be for you.
SO UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!! The almond flavor comes across great, very fragrant. Makes an amazing iced tea but also perfect hot. My new favorite!
What I really enjoy about Adagio is that the the aroma of the unbrewed tea really does signal what's to follow. Open a bag of this tea and what do you get? Marzipan. It makes for a very comforting cup of tea. Bold marzipan flavor and very smooth.
A little sugar and milk and it tastes like cookies :)
While the smell can be a little overpowering and be a bit much, this tea is very mellow and has a sweet almond flavor to it.
I wanted to love this tea, and before I tried it, I was envisioning all kinds of blends I could make with it. However, the almond flavoring tastes and smells a bit off. the package says it's 'natural almond flavor,' which I'm sure it is, but it just doesn't translate as such on the senses. All in all, it's 'ok,' but not something I would purchase (I received a free sample with my last order.)
A delicious oolong tea with a subtle, warm flavor of almond.
Not my first choice
Deliciously nutty, and blends well with the softer oolong taste.
I got this almond oolong as a sample and decided to taste it when I wanted a mildly flavored tea without diluting one of my favourites. It was perfect for the situation!
In general I am not an Oonlong drinker and I was pleased to find that this one was to my taste. It lacked the obvious 'splashes-of-Almond-Extract' flavour many cheap almond something-or-other teas have, and absolutely nothing about the Oolong itself was overpowering.
Its mellowness pairs well with just a small splash of (lowfat) milk. I enjoy it when I crave a bit of tea after dinner or for afternoon tea when I actually have little tea cookies and snacks to eat with it, as it doesn't outshine them.
I love the almond oolong. Almond is a favorite of mine and the oolong is just so delicious.
Great almond flavor. Love it iced. Will definitely order again
Sweet note to the oolong tea, a bit of a lingering aftertaste.
Really liked this tea. Oolong teas are becoming my favorite, even above green.
Was a bit put off by the smell at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Has a nice, light nutty flavor that goes well with the complexity of the oolong.
I liked the tea, but didn't have enough almond taste.
This tea is not my favorite, but it's not a bad tea. I think I was hoping for more nutty almond, but this is amaretto, verging on sweet. I'm enjoying it, but it's less subtle than I'd like. The slightly roasty scent and taste are nice, and maybe if the flavor was less subtle, it would be masked by the flavor of the tea itself. I will probably skip this and get an unflavored oolong next time.
The almond flavor is just about right. Reminds me of almond cookies.
this gentle tea is soothing. i love it in the midmorning to revive me .
When I opened the bag it smelled extremely strong: nutty and very sugary. However when I made the tea it had a subtler almond flavor. This tea tastes like it has been sweetened without any sweetener. Because I prefer my teas not to be sweet, I don't find it as appealing as other flavors, however, my friends enjoyed it. Don't oversteep or you will get a bitter aftertaste. I did 3 minutes or less, because recommended steep time is a bit much.
