Tried this on a whim as a free sample with my last order. Smells very inviting in the bag, smells divine when steeped. Almond is noticeable but not overwhelming on the palate. Husband proclaimed it his favorite so I ordered a pound. I don't see us tiring of it soon.
This tea makes a nice after dinner tea. The smell in the package (or jar in the store) is much stronger than the smell when brewed. Very pleasant and natural sweet (I don't add sugar) cup of tea.

The smell when you first openly the pouch is like a punch in the face, but the actual tea is delicate and delightful. Don't put your whole face in the bag like I did, though.

Not my favorite of the flavored oolongs, but not bad either. It didn't need sugar, which was a plus. Basically, it tasted like decent black oolong with almond extract (the kind you find at the grocery store next to the vanilla). If you really like almond extract, then this might be your thing.

I didn't like this tea. To me it smelled and tasted boozy, is the only way I can describe it.
I was afraid I wouldn't like this because I typically drink whatever you can get at the local supermarket for tea or occasionally splurge on a great-tasting Earl Grey, but I decided to go for something different. The smell of this can be a little overwhelming and I was hesitant to drink it at first. I added about two teaspoons of sugar to it and the longer the tea steeped, the more mild the smell becomes. It came out to taste like this almost creamy, very, very faint chocolately taste. It's wonderful and relaxing on a cold morning. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.
I find myself liking many black teas more than than any other type of tea. The almond flavor is definitely noticeable and it's not at all over-powering.
I am new to all the different types of teas and flavors available. I am so happy to have found Adagio teas with the wide variety to choose from. I am finding the oolong teas to be some of my favorites. The Almond flavor of this is wonderful and can be mixed with others to create unique flavors of your own.

This was the free sample I received with my order. I have officially used it all up! I can't say for sure that it's my favorite because I haven't tried any of my other teas yet but it just might be! The samples come with a good amount. I was able to make five different cups with a pretty packed tea ball. I do let it steep a little longer than the directions state because I like a stronger flavor. It smells delicious!!
I thought the taste would be overpowering because the almond aroma of the dry leaves is so strong. But once brewed, the flavor was just right.

Still, it's a nice oolong with a light almond note. I like almond. This is good with sugar. I brew it a little less because I don't like the end notes of oolong very much. Personal preference.
