This is a fantastic tea. We are big fans of plain oolong tea, but like to add a little extra panache once in a while. This tea is slightly sweet yet light. Perfect for a mid-afternoon treat without costing you lots of calories. Highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting to like this one, but picked it randomly as a free sample because I knew a friend was a huge fan. I was very pleasantly surprised. Wonderful hot or iced, good with milk or without. Simple, clean, almond-y flavor.
By itself the almond flavor is pretty strong. It's very dessert-like with milk and sweetener added. I've been mixing this 1:2 with Fujian Baroque for a nice morning tea.
This is my second time trying the almond oolong. I did order this recently, but I believe I selected it as a free sample a while ago. The oolong has a very soothing scent and quite a nice flavor. I am a sugar addict and I will say you don't need a whole lot to sweeten this cup. I prefer it after dinner or for a time when I am trying to mellow out. Definitely one of my top 5 adagio teas.
I'm not crazy about this tea. The almond flavor did not suit me. However the aroma is beautiful. If you like almond flavor you will love this tea.
This is a warm and comforting flavor. I selected it as my sample with my regular order. Although I'm pleased overall with the sample, it's not a favorite flavor, and probably not something I'd order.
Very fragrant, you can smell the sweet almond distinctly the moment the package is open. The flavor is pure oolong, the almond taste is not really present, just the aroma. Also, brew 3-4tsps per cup instead of the two recomended on the package otherwise it will be too weak.
I have limited experience with oolong teas, but I usually like them. I really thought I would like this one but it was pungent and it made me cough for being as weak as it is. I probably won't get it again.
Good tea with nice almond taste, like it enough to drink it again, probably not enough to buy it again. Next time I will try with milk...maybe that will change my mind.

This was some of the best tea I have had in a long time! The almond flavoring was perfect and brought me back to my childhood through memories of almond flavoring that my mom used to make French Toast.

This tea has a pleasant blend of flavors with a light almond taste to the oolong tea.
I liked this tea, and the lovely taste of almonds was nicely pronounced. but at this point in my tea-drinking journey, I prefer oolongs that are fairly strongly roasted, and un-flavored. Here the almond flavor does not seem to me to enhance the flavor of the base tea. This is a just a matter of taste. I detect no flaw in this tea.
Don't let the amazingly powerful smell deter you, this is a very good oolong.

The taste is good, but I'm not sure if I'm just not a fan of oolong in general. I'm still going to order another oolong tea, just to see if it was the flavoring, or just the type of tea that I didn't really enjoy.
Oh, so good! If you like almonds I would highly recommend this tea! It has a wonderful marzipan flavor to it and it is great paired with other teas too!
This tea smells awesome but the smell doesn't translate into the taste of the tea. There is a faint almond taste for me and by adding more tea I just get wired off the black tea.Smells great tastes meh.

When you open the bag, it hits you like you've opened a bottle of almond extract. The brewing is much more mellow though---almost like fresh baked almond cookies. The taste isn't as strong as the fragrance, so if it smells overwhelming, don't worry, it certainly isn't that strong. It still tastes like a traditional oolong, just with a background of almond. Very tasty, I will definitely order again! I'm thinking of finding a cherry flavor I like and mixing the two.
