The caffeine boost I wanted but it’s better blended with something than by itself.
Argentine Yerba Mate with lively, tangy, herbaceous notes. Faint hints of tobacco and grass. Contains caffeine.

The caffeine boost I wanted but it’s better blended with something than by itself.
Hard to describe, like a fulli'sh, light tea flavor. Seems like a good base for a blend.
An old favorite for mornings when I need an extra kick. Has a nice toasted flavor that never gets old.
A nice earthy tasting tea. It's not something I would drink daily but very pleasing to taste. I will definitely purchase it again!
The taste actually surprised me. I wanted something with high caffeine so decided to try this. Can't say I felt much of a boost. The flavor was good, kind of a peppery taste.
Probably will not buy again...not sure why but it gave me a lot of heartburn???? Too bad!
A solid mate. It has a mellow flavor and a good punch.
This tea is very light but punchy when it comes to the caffeine level, I enjoy mixing this tea with other flavored teas that may not have any caffeine in them if I am in the mood for a fruity but uplifting tea, this is the right one to mix it with. Love, love, love!
When you want a bit of caffeine with a subtle, herbal flavor palette, this is perfect! With a little bit of agave, this is incredibly enjoyable.
I was very excited to try Yerba Mate for the first time, and I was a little underwhelmed. It didn t really see to have too much of a taste. I brewed it for the recommended time and temperature, and it just seemed a bit like very weak green tea. It wasn t bad, don t get me wrong, but I just thought it was going to be much more of an experience.
Very light but great taste with a extra caffeine kick. Very nice
This tea is interesting. I usually add a little lemon juice to it. Tastes very earthy, a tad bit smokiness or toastiness in there. A nice, strong cup of Mate is perfect in the morning. Gives you really nice, clean energy from the caffeine. I seriously enjoy it. A friend got me the Samurai Mate which I would definitely recommend as well. I might go brew a cup right now
Good. Very good caffeine content, it has strong hints of tobacco but that is okay if you can stand it.
This mate is really high quality. Great flavor, and more leaves where sometimes you find a lot of branch pieces in other mate.
Delicious pick me up for when I'm craving some herbal tea!
Really nice tea! I like the caffeine buzz from mate much better than coffee
A pretty standard yerba mate, but I drink it more for its effect (lots of energy!) than for the taste. I can't wait to try the mocha nut mate!
Really good standard yerba mate. I'd say you can find similar quality for much cheaper
I got this tea for my husband because he is a very heavy coffee drinker... He s italian. I got this tea and others so he would have an array of options. This was not his favorite, while he did like it. It is lighter although it has high caffeine content. So I think he went for the darker teas more because of the darker more coffee look. So nothing against this tea, but for a coffee drinker trying to find an alternative, it might not do the job if you re expecting more dark and fuller flavor.
This is a nice, leafy yerba mate tea. Despite very little branchy taste, this tea is not a very bitter mate, even when I overstep. It does have a bit more caffeine than most teas (as mate is known for), so would recommend this tea as a morning tea.
Helps give me a boost in the morning, since going off of coffee.
Good smokey flavor, but needs a very fine filter cause the grounds are to small
Perfect for a caffeine boost. Tastes a little smoky.
This is another favorite of mines. I love it by itself and even better as a blend.
My first time trying yerba mate. I enjoyed it. It's got a slight grassy taste, but in a good way.
Delicious pick me up. Great for mixing with other teas and herbal flavors. Only downside is that you need quite a bit too make a full 8 oz cup or it seems too weak.
This has been an absolute delight. If you are a fan of tobacco flavor with a sweet note then you will enjoy this tea. I have been in love with yerba lattes recently and this is a great tea to do so with!
Has a nice earthy body while still being a light tea. Great caffeine as well, it did not make me super jittery like coffee does.
I felt like I needed to try this tea after writing an essay about an indigenous group that loves yerba mate. It tasted good, but I prefer green and black tea.
Earthy, but good. I tend to pair this with another tea, but I will drink it as a stand alone from time to time.
I definitely prefer this pure mate to the toasted version, although both are good. The texture is coarsely cut enough that the filter can easily handle it without clogging up.
Such a good tea, my first time trying it out and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
has a nice smooth flavor that makes you feel warm and fuzzy from the inside out.
Great cup! It's a really interesting flavor, almost like a very mild mint crossed with green tea. I loved it!
I worked at a coffee shop for years where we had a drip pot of yerba mate. I'd drink it pretty regularly, as I liked the grassy flavor. I'd always put honey in it to cut some of the bitterness. This yerba mate is superior to the yerba mate I've had in the past. I can't attribute this as much to the brand or source as much as the proper brewing temperatures. I always brewed yerba mate at the same temp as coffee. Adagio recommends a surprising 150F, though, and I found that this temp totally cuts the bitterness. I no longer need honey to enjoy my yerba mate. This is a really delightful drink.
I really liked the earthy flavor of this tea. I have been using this as a coffee substitute, and it works quite qell without leaving me jittery. For brewing, I initially followed the recommendations to use 150-degree water, but wanted a hotter cup. I have since been using the hot water spigot at work, which is well above 150, and I think it still tastes great.
I like this but it doesn t give me the typical lift that its reputation is known for.
Always a crowd pleaser, works really great when mixed with fruit
I don't think this is for me. The taste is okay very smoky. My throat hurts after I drink it. But I do have a lot more energy after drinking it, even though it makes my heart kind of jump.
This Yerba Mate was alright. It s a bit grassy, but not bad.
It's a tasty tea, use a little extra or it's rather weak.
Never tried yerba mate before ordering a sample of this. I enjoyed the flavor, and definitely felt the energy boost. I've been researching loose leaf yerba mate, and this one seems to be heavily processed and chopped up very finely, even compared to store bought yerba mate. This one would probably work very well in sachets or other very fine filters.
This is much better than any of the yerba mate I ve purchased at whole foods. Earthy, flavorful tea.
Love the health benefits of oolong but I prefer mine flavored. The plain taste too 'green' :-/
Very solid mate for the price. Good for a daily drinker.
Not a fan of this one. I've enjoyed almost all of the samples I've tried, this is the only one I didn't resonate with
This teas flavor is intense and “green”, as is true to character of Yerba Mate. However, this one in particular was more intense than any of the other Yerba Mate teas that I’ve had from other brands and I’ve sampled almost all of them, as I very much enjoy them. It’s not bad, just a bit overpowering and takes a bit to get used to. Yerba Mate tea itself is definitely an acquired taste.
Totally enjoyed this so much. I am very caffeine sensitive so I was worried, but it was great. I felt great and not nervous as all. It was lovely. Gave me an extra little kick.
It has a pleasantly bitter flavor that just hits the spot as far as hot teas go. I'll definitely get this again.
This is the best YM I have ever tried!!! So fresh and full of flavor...a wonderful tea :)
