If you want a caffeine blast, this is for you. Steep it for like 5-10 minutes and you will be bouncing around the house. Taste great.
Argentine Yerba Mate with lively, tangy, herbaceous notes. Faint hints of tobacco and grass. Contains caffeine.

Smells like hay but tastes great. I love earthy yet bitter teas, so this was fantastic for me.
I really enjoyed the taste of this tea and it did not leave me jittery.
Almost reminds me of green tea. Flavor isn't that strong either.
this tea is okay but its seems to leak out of every type of tea contraption i have just a little to fine.
Yerba is a hard to make, it takes trial and error to get it down but once you get the right time and temp it is amazing
The yerba is a little too fine, and imparts a bitter taste that leaves your mouth dry and a tickling in the back of your throat.
chocolate notes and great aroma definitely one to try
I had always heard that mates were sort of like coffee. I'm not sure about that, but it was alright. I could tell it had a little more 'umph' to it than your regular cup of tea.
Very nice flavor. Better than my usual store bought mate by a wide margin.
This tea is...not for the weak. It's got a bit of a strange smell, and you definitely don't drink it for the taste...but it seems to be pretty good at giving you a bit of energy without the drawbacks of a lot of other caffeinated beverages.
This is a good anytime tea. It doesn't have really strong flavors. If i had to compare it to something it would be similar to green tea.
Has a smoky note but also a grassy one reminiscent of green tea. Very energizing.
Fine Yerba mate. No complaints. Will definitely buy it again.
Do you want your caffeinated beverages to be a long, hard kick to the face? Drink more mate. Try it, you'll understand.
This reminds me of green tea. It's earthy yet still gentle. It's also the first tea I've seen that needs to be steeped at 150 degrees. Overall, good.
This tea is very tasty and very energizing. I am a fan!
I prefer the toasted Mate, but this one isn't too bad.
Reminds me a lot of green tea, actually, with the vegetal/earthy taste, but without the defining taste of tea leaves. It's definitely a much better caffeine boost, but it is a bit plain, without a ton to distinguish it from other teas. Certainly not bad, but personally I prefer more complexity in a drink. Will perhaps use it in blends.
I was apprehensive about trying a mate tea. I've had mate from another company and no matter what flavor i had, it left an aftertaste in my mouth. This mate was totally different. No aftertaste! Its a grassy/herby tasting tea. I drink coffee in the morning then in mid or late afternoon I have a cup of mate. Gives me a boost and doesn't make me jittery.
I'm more of a green/white tea kinda guy, but I enjoy the occasional Yerba Mate - this one in particular definitely helped rekindle my on again, off again relationship. .)
I'm not sure if this is smoked or air dried, but it tastes air-dried and I will definitely order more in the future.
Light and flavorful on its own, or great as a mix with lemongrass.
We love this tea! Very fresh tasting... Perfect start to the day.
Just ok.. maybe with more testing I can get this to come out right, but I'm not a fan of the taste.
I love this yerba mate! Super vegetal and testing the boundary between smooth and bitter. It is one of the more intense yerba mates that I've had and I like it. Only 1 tsp is the equivalent of 3.5 tsp of Tattle Tea's organic yerba mate.
I hate this tea with a goddamn passion. Like chewed tobacco and lawnmower clippings.
For those who are like me and had never tried mate before this one: I think this is a lovely introduction to the experience. It tastes a bit like evergreen and earth, and its texture is smooth, with notable similarities to sassafras tea.
My first time having this type mate...it was great! I recommend this 100 to all those who value great Yerba Mate.
I usually drink a cup of coffe in the morning but if I ever dont this is an exelent flavorful tea to substitute for it.
Gets you going in the morning. I would recommend this to a friend
I've never tried mate before this and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting something quite medicinal but instead I was greeted by delicious herbal notes of dried hay and tobacco. I can see where this would be an acquired taste, but I quite enjoyed it.
Somehow I had never tried a mate before. I didn't know what to expect, but it's delicious.
Amazing substitute for someone who can't have black tea / coffee.
This wasn't bad. It wasn't particularly good. Kinda smelled and tasted like hay, but in a good way. Better with honey, and even better iced. Looking forward to the spiced mate.
Update: this isdelicious when steeped for a shorter time at a lower temp. I like it now. Still kinda hay-tasting, but much tastier.
'Faint hints of tobacco and grass', what am I getting myself into? I like to dash a bit of this in with other blends to add a bit of caffeine goodness.
A great flavor tea. Highly recommend using a tea bag for this loose tea.
Disclaimer, I've never had yerba mate before, so this is a first impression. I did like it, it's like normal green tea at first, but then it's a bit lighter/mintier. I believe it has a higher caffeine content, that's what I've been told. I liked it, give it a try.
It's a very grassy tasting tea, but it's absolutely wonderful when you're not sure what to drink.
I so wanted to like this one, but alas. It just wasn't meant to be.
Will definitely get more of this as soon as I can. Taste-wise, it could be mistaken for some kind of green tea with light, natural floral-fruity tones. The effects, though, were different. Caffeine usually does little for me but make me feel like a jittery zombie insomniac. This left me feeling energized and *good,* and it didn't keep me from taking a nap an hour or two later. Awesome.
I got this for a friend and he seemed to like it, not quite my cup of tea. But thumbs up if you are a yerba fan
great grassy / herby flavor. a nice change from a black tea.
The tea itself is quite tasty. It's a bit of a hassle to make because I don't have the necessary equipment. I can make it in my steeping basket, but there are a lot of it makes it through the holes. I know that this is due to a lack of research on my part. If you are unfamiliar with yerba mate teas then I recommend you do a bit of research before buying this.
A good morning cup of tea to help get the day started.
This herbal tea has alot of caffeine in it. If you're sleepy, it'll wake you up. I love the taste, sortof has a tobacco taste. Different from most teas.
I have always bought my mate at the asian super market we have in town because it is the only place I could find this tea. This blend is SOOOO much better. It has a very eccentric flavor that people either really like or really hate, so definately get a sampler first
The taste reminds me a little bit like a green tea. Oddly enough when I first smelled it, it smelled like grass clippings. Delicious grass clippings I guess.
I got this as a sample because I had never tried any yerba mate before. When I opened the pack and smelt it the first thing that came to mind was dust and dry weeds. Like the smell you get when you hike in arid southern California. When I tasted the tea I was surprised at how much I liked it. I thought the flavor was pretty good. I can see how somebody would not like it though. I usually like the stronger, bitter, less sweet teas. I would get this again and I would see if my friends would like it.
This tea has a sweet smell that does not carry over to the flavor. Maybe it's just me but I didn't really get anything from it. It's grassy which doesn't bother me but beyond that I don't really taste anything different. It's like a weaker black with grassy notes.
I don't think I would get this again. I forgot how my caffiene it would have it in.
