This was a great tea. Very good substitute for coffee!

★★★☆☆

I had never tried this yerba before and so I have nothing to compare it to. Both my wife and I both felt that we could spend the rest of our life never drinking another cup of Yerba Matte. I'm sure because it is Adagio Tea, that this Yerba MAtte was top quality stuff. But taste is always subjective, and we simply didn't care for it. With that, it doesn't make it bad or good.

Have been drinking this one iced w/ white peach this summer

This has become one of my 'everyday' teas along with the Gunpowder. Pleasant grassy taste, nice caffeine buzz, and good for at least a couple of brews. Even works well in a vaporizer!

I'm from Argentina, so I love mate. I've never thought of having is as tea, and I admit I loved it (still prefer normal mate though)

★★★☆☆

Not my favorite tasting cup of tea. I'm a bit new to herbal teas but this seemed very grassy and was not exactly what I was expecting. The caffeine buzz afterwards was pleasant enough but I think I'll stick to black tea in the future.

★★★★★

At first I wasn't sure if i would like this tea, it has an extremely grassy smell to it but once I made a cup and tasted it it was amazing. I am not sure about the energizing aspect of it just because caffeine affects me differently than most people, but I highly recommend this tea.

What a nice tea to drink, very mild and delicate. I felt like I was having a chamomile tea. I really did enjoy this tea and I most definitely will buy it when I have finished what I have here.

★★★★☆

This stuff wakes you up. I'm not too crazy about the taste on it's own, but combined with a citrusy tea like lemon balm it's perfect.

★★★★☆

Very good quality mate. Not very powdery like you find when buying in bulk from other places. No stems. Clean fresh taste.

★★★★☆

This is a well rounded, smooth tea. There aren't any different notes when you taste it. it's a consistent flavor. Great for a solid flavor tea!

★★★☆☆

I was never a big fan of mate, mainly because it reminds me a lot of coffee. While yerba mate tasted similar, the light body made it a bit more palatable. Very nice cup of tea.

★★★★★

Very nice drink. I'm not sure if it was the yerba mate, but I did get a 'second wind' this afternoon after drinking this. Will definitely be drinking this more often.

★★★☆☆

Not exactly to my taste... I just wanted to try it.

★★★★★

Just how I was wanting yerba mate to taste like, without it being pre-packaged from the store or from a bag. I prefer mine weaker and this certainly gives me exactly what I want. Good flavor and nice aroma.

★★★★★

Smooth and earthy as well as hints of subtle spice.

Ok so I liked this better than the toasted mate. It has a nice earthy taste.

★★★★☆

A fantastic Tea. I love the tradition it's steeped in, and I love steeping it in my cup. Not quite the same without a gourd and a bombilla, but still a great flavor for the workday.

★★★★☆

Smooth green tea quality, great with a little honey.

I like but do not love this yerba mate. I'll drink and enjoy the bag while I have it, but I've had yerba in another brand which I liked more, so from Adagio I'll probably stick to their toasted mate.

★★★★☆

I liked this tea, but it was a little too grassy for me.

★★★★☆

i drink it when i need a kick of caffeine, not the biggest fan of the taste but it serves its use

★★★★★

This is amazing to drink with the watermelon cooler. Suppresses my appetite well.

★★★★★

Originally bought this as a sample, but it has earned a place on my shelf and in my heart.

★★★☆☆

Tried a sample. Was not crazy about it. Won't buy again.

★★★★★

Grassy, earthy, pungent. Mixed it with Douglas-for tips for a special blend for my wedding and everyone has really liked it!

★★★★☆

I enjoy this tea in the middle of the day when I want some energy without too much caffeine.

★★★★★

Simple and classic flavor that you would come to expect if you've ever had yerba mate before. It has a grassier taste than the toasted version, but both are great.

★★☆☆☆

This was my first time trying yerba mate and I found it very unappealing

★★★★☆

Interesting flavor, not your standard tea at all. Tasty, but probably won't get often.

★★★★★

Your standard yerba mate, but very delicious and great in the morning.

★★★☆☆

I wasn't a big fan of this tea, though I know it's supposed to be a healthier option and I can't expect much. I probably won't buy it again.

★★★★☆

It definitely made a difference using the correct water temperature for this tea. I had been brewing it at boiling and now am doing it around 150. Not my favorite, but still very good in moderation.

★★★☆☆

This tea is pretty solid. A very earthy taste that isn't disagreeable. The kind of thing that I'd keep in a well-insulated mug to sip on throughout the day.

However, it is worth noting that this tea contains quite a bit of fine particulate that seeps through my tea ball (just an inexpensive walmart-brand one). This makes it difficult to enjoy with my present setup.

★★★★★

My husbands personal favorite, will buy again when I run out

★★★★★

I love drinking yerba mate for breakfast. This one tastes very sweet and I don't need to add anything to it. It's perfect as is.

★★★★☆

Not really sure what to say about this one, it's tasty and the caffeine packs a punch.

★★★★☆

This tea is very earthy. I do like this tea, it's not the best tea I have had though.

This tea is good! I really believe i need to stick with the fruitty teas. I like those better

★★★★★

Hadn't tried the Yerba Mate before but I like it, its not too overwhelming of flavors and goes great with anything to eat.

★★★★☆

light and vegetal, a good cup, brew time 5 minutes at full boil.

★★★★☆

Good mate! Although I prefer the Toasted Mate better, this one is a great afternoon cup of tea. Sometimes I mix with the Toasted mate for a little richer cup with more flavor. This has a greener taste than the toasted. Will definitely give you a boosts so don't drink it at night.

This is my third best tea after the green chai and kukicha. Great tea for getting my brain going in the morning.

★★★☆☆

Quality was not that high. I've bought better from the grocery store at a lower price.

★★★★☆

A decent, tasty mate. Can be successfully resteeped, but the later steeps are a different color. Bright chartreuse green at first, later steeps are a dark bluish green. It has the nice grassy taste you'd expect from mate, but with a kind of pleasant sweetness to it. I liked it.

For a leafy greenish flavor without all the frill, this is a great pick-me-up. Solid on it's own, it also makes a great base for mixing teas. Try it cold for a wonderful summer treat!

★★★★☆

Very nice flavor. Compare to other yerba mates I have tried this is a winner.

★★★☆☆

My step sister bought me a mate cup and straw, and I was so excited because I had heard this tea was really high in caffeine. It was ok, a little too grassy for me, but I didn't like how small the leaves were cut. Maybe that's normal, but even with the special straw I had, I was getting pieces of the leaves in my teeth. So then I used the metal tea ball to catch most of the leaves and the straw to catch the rest, but still I had leaves in my teeth.

★★★★☆

Smoked yerba mate. If you do not like a peety smoked flavor, do not get this.

★★★★★

I'll be honest- I was a bit nervous to try this tea. I was so afraid I wasn't going to like it.
First of all, it smells SO GOOD! Amazingly light with a hint of sweet floral, like of like an exotic jasmine, if that makes any sense. Tastes just like it smell. It's a great light tea I can't wait to mix with other teas!
Don't be afraid to steep the full five minutes- it doesn't get bitter or overpowering.
Just a caution, it is very fine, not at all like traditional whole leaf teas. Use a stainless mesh infuser, or fill-your-own teabag.
