Spearmint Customer Reviews

Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

this is my favorite tea.. I mix this into quite a few of my other teas.

★★★★★

Great quality, the best choice if you like the fresh feeling with out the after taste of peppermint. A little with goes far specially if you use it to make your own blends at home.

Wonderful, crisp, mild mint flavor with a hint of sweetness. The tea came to me fresh and delicious, and I use it in concert with ceylon black tea to make a tasty, refreshing drink. It's wonderful for a 'summer' tea!

This tea is so fresh and clean. I love to brew this in the evening and use it to relax. Works well to settle an upset stomach, too!

I always order this in bulk. Fantastic iced or hot, it also is great with lemon or honey. I also like to mix this with a flavored rooibus, particularly the rooibus vanilla. Will be ordering again.

★★★★★

This is great quality straight spearmint. The flavor is strong, and it is delicious.

Very refreshing! Slightly sweet, without too much of a minty bite. Great for winding down at bedtime, or added to black tea and iced. Soooo yummy!

★★★★★

Quite simply the most flavorful spearmint tea I've ever had. Adagio Teas is the only vendor I use for spearmint tea.

★★★☆☆

A fine tea, but not as good as the peppermint. Won't order a bigger bag.

★★★★★

Intense spearmint flavor and aroma makes a great evening, cool me down cup.

★★★★☆

Although the scent is distinctive from peppermint, the taste isn't. A little mellower, but otherwise the same to me.

★★★★☆

There's not too much to say about this one - it just tastes like spearmint. It might be good by itself, if you are a hard core mint lover, but it is definitely also good for blending!

★★★★★

Spearmint tea is one you can't go wrong with and is wonderful both hot and cold. It's wonderful by itself or can be mixed with other flavors. I love it cold mixed with the peppermint tea and hot with raspberry patch. Just a teaspoon of sugar and you have a perfect cup of tea.

★★★★★

I use it for blends, it does a great job. Not quite as minty as peppermint so it's not overpowering in a blend. Use for blending with more subtle greens.

I. Love. This. Tea! I've never been a big fan of peppermint (it almost always tastes dusty to me) so spearmint is 'My Mint'. Imagine how disappointed I was when we moved and I had to leave my plant behind. Now imagine my even greater disappointment when I found out that none of the tea shops, natural food stores or garden centers where we live now carry spearmint. Thank you Adagio, for not only carrying 'My Mint' but also carrying a spearmint of superb quality. I get a nice, strong cup of tea with a regular brewing time (instead of having to leave it for 10 minutes and getting stuck with tepid tea). Also, thank you for carrying it in loose-leaf form AND having the fore sight to make the giant bag that the 6 oz ships in re-sealable, since I never seem to remember how much 6 oz is volume wise and even my largest tea tin can't accomodate all of it. I'm giving you guys a big mental hug right now!

the only way to get better spearmint than this is fresh from the garden

★★★★☆

Wonderful! I love to drink this with chamomile. I don't particularly like to drink it on its own though. It's too overwhelming but mixed with other teas, it's great!

★★★★★

Nice for mixing. I prefer it to the peppermint as it is not as overwhelming

★★★★★

I ordered a sample of this tea the other day for my sister, she said it's one of the best teas she's ever had. Can't complain myself.

Love spearmint. Makes for a better Foxtrot with spearmint instead of

I was expecting more of a stronger spearmint flavor, but this works. It's mild. I added a pinch of fresh spearmint to the pot and let it steep to give it more of a stronger flavor. I found this helps. But otherwise on it's own, the tea is good. While this works well for hot tea, I also love it cold. I often make a bottle of iced spearmint tea to drink after a good workout. Very refreshing.

★★★★★

My kids love this blended with gunpowder tea! Very nice and smooth!

★★★☆☆

It's a little bit too fake mint tasting to me. I'll drink what I've got, but I probably won't come back for more.

★★★★★

I very much like this tea - smells just like spearmint gum! It is also very good alone, mixed with other teas, or especially mixed with gunpowder tea. I add some to my bodywash for the shower for a wonderfull treat in the morning!

★★★★☆

This is one of my favorite herbal teas. It has a very nice and fresh taste.

★★★★★

Great aroma! Very strong and minty. You will not be diappointed.

★★★★☆

excellent flavor and extremely consistent blend make this a favorite.

★★★★★

I enjoy spearmint as a change from the ordinary peppermint teas. Also makes a great addition to iced teas and fruit blends.

★★★★★

Strong minty taste, but not as potent as peppermint tea can be. Great alone or mixed with other tea.

★★★★☆

Very grassy, but while it's not much on it's own, it's very good to add some light mint flavor to other teas.

★★★★★

I love this tea combined with some peppermint. It is very refreshing!

★★★★★

Really good! Strong aftertaste minty flavor. Sort of reminds me of gum so I mix it with others more often than I drink it alone.

★★★★★

I wasn't a huge fan of mint teas after an affair with peppermint tea leaves and soap making. This tea changed my mind. Minty but not overwhelming. Loved every cup and was sad to see the end of my supply.

It smells amazing and tastes great, however it is not too strong (I perfer my teas strong) but it is really good.

★★★★★

I have been drinking spearmint tea from my local health food store and it always has tasted a little old and not very flavorful. I decided to try other spearmint teas and found this website and decided to try. This tea tastes so much more fresh and minty!

★★★★★

I love mint teas, and this is probably the best mint tea I've had.

Simply delicious. Very refreshing and enjoyable to drink either hot or cold.

★★★★☆

A great light spearmint when used in a blend or on its own. Blend with lemon to get a refreshing iced tea.

★★★★☆

I thought it had wonderful flavor! This was my first time trying your tea and could really tell that it was of good quality. I look forward to trying some of the other great teas you have for sale!

★★★★★

The mint is so mellow, and so calming, and it's the truest mint I've had in long time.

Fresh, good Spearmint is a fantastic pick me up sans caffeine. This is good quality leaf, without the stale taste of most retail bagged mints.

★★★★☆

if you like peppermint teas you will like this. The mint tasteis a bit more mellow than the peppermint teas.

★★★★★

Just like drinking Wrigley's spearmint gum. Really though, I just love spearmint. This is always a fantastic tea!

★★★★☆

High quality spearmint. I prefer the bite of peppermint, but spearmint blends more smoothly with certain tea varieties.

Great stuff. I like to mix mine with Citron Green and peppermint then ice it.

★★★★★

Makes a great cup, blends well with green, and in summertime makes a beautiful pitcher of iced.

★★★★★

The spearmint is awesome. I have yet to try the peppermint so I have no means of comparison, but I can't find a tea that this doesn't blend well with. Even by itself, it makes a wonderful nighttime tea and leaves you with a pleasant minty aftertaste. As one reviewer mentioned, it really DOES smell like doublemint gum.

★★★★★

awesome sweeter and milder flavor than peppermint tea. i prefer half of each mixed together!

Data just published in Phytotherapy Research shows that drinking two cups of spearmint tea a day for five days could reduce the level of androgens in women with hirsutism.
To make the herbal Spearmint tea just pour a cup (250ml) of boiling water over 1 heaped teaspoon (5g) of dried leaves, and leave it for 5 to 10 mins. It's not just medical, it's has delicious test. Enjoy!
