It takes a bit more to make a strong cup but it makes a nice start before I start work in the morning.
Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

It takes a bit more to make a strong cup but it makes a nice start before I start work in the morning.
Was hoping for more of a minty flavor. Much lighter in taste than a peppermint. Didn't get any of the mouth feel a peppermint tea does. Probably a mistake comparing the two, but know I know. It's not a bad tea, reminds me of chamomile, kinda herb-y/earthy tasting.
I'm drinking spearmint tea on a regular basis for medicinal reasons -- preliminary tests suggest that it may reduce androgens (male hormones) in women, which might help with the symptoms of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Adagio was the only place I could find to order spearmint tea leaves in bulk, and their prices are so good as to be almost unreasonably reasonable. I don't know that I would drink this tea just for fun -- I'm more a black tea girl -- but this is a high-quality product at a good price. It has a 'quiet' mint flavor, rather than a strong pepperminty bite. It's fine either plain or with a bit of sugar.
Nice herbal tea. It's a little more subtle than peppermint tea. On the upshot, it smells exactly like 'Doublemint' gum. :D
Learned about this website through their ad on Ninjacamp.com. I love peppermint tea so i thought i'd try the spearmint. It is good but I'm still partial to the peppermint. the spearmint is not as strong of a flavor.
While I prefer regular mint teas, this spearmint is excellent. It is strongly flavored but not overpowering. It leaves a cool, refreshing taste.
I love this spearmint! It is has a great flavor to add to any cup that I brew. Often just a pinch is enough to add to another tea that I am brewing.
Very sweet. One of my new favorites.
This tea was pretty good, but it lacked the finish of the peppermint. This was a little smoother and more mellow, but my preference is the sharp bite that peppermint provides.
Makes a great iced tea. Sometimes I mix it with some of my fruity teas for a nice twist!
This tea has a simply wonderful aroma when you open it out of the bag. Once steeped the aroma sets in even more. The tea is smooth and refreshing. All-in-All it is a very desirable tea. I do recommend letting the tea steep for 10 minutes though to get a nice balanced flavor. I pulled out my first cup after the minimum recommended 5 minutes and it tastes too bland.
I love a strong mint tea and this was very strong and fresh!
Refreshing flavor that eases the stomach. Very nice when added with other mints also...
As good as peppermint, but different. The spearmint is almost stronger in a way--an excellent brew for sore throats.
A wonderful refreshing tea. Great when mixed with other teas for a hint of spearmint flavor.
much milder than the peppermint, but really gret when the two are mixed together.
this is my favorite tea so far that i have tried!
This was a good mint tea by itself, but I think it is better blended with other teas.
Seemed a bit weak by itself. Makes a great flavor enhancer for iced tea.
I bought this tea for my dad, because he only drinks herbal teas. I hope he likes it! :)
Love the spearmint, so much more subtle than peppermint. This tea looks, smells and tastes like freshly frid herbs. The spearmint has a vibrant color and it blends beautifully with some chamomile for a healthy and caffeine-free cuppa.
This has become a staple to my daily tea drinking regime, my friend and I are completely addicted to it!
I like this a lot better than the peppermint tea. It is smoother, and has a more pleasant taste. I like it when I'm studying at night so that I get perked up by the mint but don't have to have caffeine.
I have previously only used Adagios Spearmint in blends i bought, but having
developed a preference for blending at home (i think the brew is better balanced when the individual components are kept separate) I decided to pick up some up.
I could barely fit all the 1.5 oz sized Adagio Spearmint (an herbal) into one of the old adagio tins- there is actually more to it than the 3oz flavored tea sizes. An herbal, not technically a tea- this is straight up spearmint, and if you are trying it for the first time, be aware that it takes far less than you would use in place of tea to get the same brew. I use it
mainly for blending, its particularly fantastic with Assam tea
Pretty good, basic tea. Nothing super exciting, but way better than the bagged stuff.
Absolutely great for iced! Also mix with chocolate or vanilla for an awesome iced tea. Simply good.
Pungent minty leaves brew a super refreshing cup of flavorful, throat-soothing pale green elixer. Good for the winter time sore throat and great for mixing with some chamomile before bed for that added refreshing zing!
This is a good tea for when you're feeling under the weather. The mint flavor and warmth that it brings to you make colds bearable.
I love spearmint tea by itself or with a little camomile mixed in. It helps settle me down for getting some rest.
Spearmint's sharp and rich calming flavor is an exceptional addition to any tea especially chamomile.
Wonderfully relaxing, great after a meal or in the evening. It makes a refreshing iced tea, but when it's hot, you get the cooling sensation of the mint in addition to the heat - a very pleasant feeling.
I just bought a whole bunch of this. It is great mixed with the vanilla green tea! My family loves it too.
This is probably my favorite tea ever. It's the one I always buy in bulk! =)
I'm a huge fan of mint tea and this one happens to be my all time favorite. I even prefer this over the peppermint. If your a spearmint fan, you'll love this tea!
Delicious, fresh, tasty spearmint tea. Simply spearmint goodness.
so refreshing. this tea cleanses your mouth and is great for an after-dinner sort of deal. not that great iced, but ideal when it's warm.
This was good, but I like it mixed in with various green teas more than on it's own. I recommend gunpowder or a darjeeling.
A great tea. I have been a peppermint tea fan for years, but this spearmint tea is like a mellow, sweet cousin. Love it!
Unfortunately reminiscent of toothpaste in scent...it tastes fine but I just can't get over the smell.
Smells better than it tastes. Still good, but not as good as peppermint. Works pretty well when mixed with peppermint.
This tea is very refreshing, and is a great remedy for stomach pain and nausea.
The best herbal mint tea I've tried. The spearmint adds a lot (over peppermint) and I'll be reaching for this when my little one is ill.
Very strong and refreshing taste. Highly recommended when you feel a little tired.
I mix this into other teas when I want a hint of spearmint flavor. For that it works great. I tried brewing it on its own but it didn't do anything for me.
I love adding spearmint to sun tea and also for more flavor with some of the black teas. Smooth.
I love this one with a few sugars and a dose of honey, it also makes a great indigestion soother.
Spearmint is the true "American" tea. It is fantastic as Iced Tea,as hot tea or added to other teas for a refreshing flavor. It is perfect for those who like mint but find peppermint too pronounced.
I love this tea by itself and mixed with other teas.
Love how refreshing this tea is, great after a heavy meal.
lovely. I was looking for a spearmint tea...i like to add milk to make it a creamy spearmint...
