I love the smell of this tea, but I don't like it very much hot. This is definitely better iced!! However, I've seen a lot of people say they like it blended with other teas, so I'll have to try that before I completely label this an iced tea only.
Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

I love this both chilled and warm. If you make it cold and mix it with chocolate chip, it taste JUST LIKE mint-chocolate chip ice-cream (and less calories!)
This is definitely one of my new favorites. I will be ordering this tea again!
This has been my go to 'iced tea' for the last several years. You get plenty of refreshing mint flavor without over powering your tastebuds like regular peppermint.
Very minty. The perfect tea. It would probably be great with chocolate.
Refreshing, especially after dinner or in the evening. Great for ice tea also.
Spearmint used to grown around my house when I was a child. I can remember my brother picking it and making sweet mint tea for my sister and I. This brought me right back to my childhood and it was wonderful. Only needs a little sugar and I like mine with just a touch of milk. Wonderful flavor I love it so much more than peppermint.
Really nice quality spearmint leaves that make a tea that taste and smell nice.
A refreshing mellow flavor that leaves a soft cooling feeling on your tongue after you sip. A perfect evening tea.
This is extremely refreshing and taste amazing as a iced tea or hot , I mixed mine with the chamomile and it tastes heavenly.
Though bold for herbal infusions, it's perfect when you're in the mood for a refreshing flavor. I also recommend using 1 part spearmint with 2 parts green tea (usually white monkey) for a lighter cup.
Nice, warm spearmint without any bitterness and delightfully numbs the tip of the tongue ever so slightly.
We've always loved brewing iced mint tea, but it is hard to find just spearmint in the supermarkets, it is usually mixed with peppermint which my husband doesn't like. So this was PERFECT. Either straight spearmint or mix with just a hint of black tea. Always a staple in our house.
Light mint flavor with a very earthy herbal taste. Great if you want a refreshing tea that doesn't taste like a candy cane as peppermint tea often can.
Tastes like spearmint, will buy again, no complaints. Alertness without keeping you awake, an instant favorite. Good for stomach aches as well.
Fresh and minty, without the bitter aftertaste of most peppermint teas. I adore this spearmint tea.
I love spearmint gum, so I thought, 'hey, let's give it a whirl.' Wow. Awesome. Mind Blown.
I love this tea. It's great on it's own - even better mixed with black tea such as Irish Breakfast and iced, but my newest favorite way to enjoy this is mixed with Berry Blast herb tea. A strange combination at first, it's refreshing iced on a hot day and my kids are drinking it by the gallon. Much better than soda
This is SO good! My new favorite mint tea. I brewed it for 10 minutes and it wasn't overpowering. Just the perfect mint taste. Add a little sweetener and it brings the flavors out even more. Will order again. :)
I liked this one pretty well, but I prefer the peppermint - it's more minty. However, I do like mixing this one with other teas.
I drink this ALL the time. It's one of my go-to teas.
Tried this from my sister, just bought my own finally! I love this tea, I drink it hot, cold, and alllll the time! It has got a wonderful aroma!
Before you steep it, it smells like spearmint gum, but don't worry. It's clearly minty but more on the mild side rather than overpowering. Not nearly as minty as you might find from the grocery store tea bag mints. I'm a fan of the peppermint tea, and although this spearmint is good, I think I like the peppermint best.
Great spearmint tea! It smells and tastes great. I like to add a little bit of black pepper into the paper filter and make a spicy cup of spearmint tea.
I bought this because the peppermint was out of stock. Decent light flavor, but not quite minty enough for me.
Very soothing and relaxing! I love the taste of spearmint.
pretty nice tasting tea, i prefer the peppermint over this for sure but this was not bad at all but i would only buy it again if peppermint was out of stock for a long time
This was the second favorite tea with my friends. Lovely flavor.
This is a very refreshing tea though I mainly use it with other teas for flavor.
Excellent! I love the smell even more than the taste - very fresh and crisp. The taste is surprisingly mellow with more of a roasty flavor up front with the lingering mint afterwards. Very enjoyable, highly recommended.
Had this iced as it's summer, but I'm sure it would be wonderful warm on a chilly evening. Definitely flavorful without being overwhelming, crisp and refreshing, and I didn't even get a lot of bitter when I accidentally let it brew for longer than suggested. A pinch/dollop of the sweetener of your choice complements the flavor nicely.
I prefer this tea to the other mint teas I have tried. It's fairly strong, but doesn't quite have that 'cold' taste that peppermint tea does.
AMAZING! When I was 6 I had my first cup of tea ever in florida with my grandmother, I can still remember the taste. This cup of tea tastes exactly like my first cup, it's amazing! it tastes like spearmint without it being too sharp. An amazing glass!
Spearmint is what it is. I'm loving it iced, blended with citrus green at the moment.
This is definitely a more mellow tea than the peppermint! It's still delicious and very soothing, though! I'll definitely be purchasing more in the future.
Not a whole lot you can say about spearmint - great herb tea for mixing. Can't go wrong with this one.
While I was in Florence, I happened upon a tea shop that offered me some spearmint tea, and it blew my mind. I'm happy to say this stuff is just as good. I'm a big spearmint fan, so of course I had to try this to see how it compared to what I'd had before. I love it hot and can't wait to try it iced. If you like spearmint, I'd definitely give this tea a shot.
Though the smell was much more delicious than peppermint, I found that the tea it made just had less of a kick.
Mint tea is a classic must-have for hot summer months, and this one is particularly refreshing.
I purchased this as a gift for someone, and she loved it! She's a big fan of mint teas, and this was 'the best by far' according to her.
Absolutely the BEST tasting mint tea ever. Superior (to me) to the peppermint (which tastes a bit too woodsy for my palate). Since it's loose leaf, you can customize it to your heart's content.
I like this tea not by itself (just because I'm not a huge mint lover), but mixed with the gunpowder tea to make the Moroccan Mint tea. I think this tea is great to mix in with others, though mint lovers might like it on its own, too. I will say that I think you need to use a lot of it to get a good mint flavor out of it - definitely at least the two teaspoons per cup recommended on the site.
Its pretty good. I like to mix with a little sen-cha green tea and brew it. It adds a nice touch to it. Also on its own it is enjoyable.
I love mint tea, but wasn't sure whether to get spearmint or peppermint. I got both and did a taste test. The spearmint is really good. I like it straight, or blended with gunpowder. Compared to peppermint it is definitely more herbal in flavor, not the 'bright' flavor of peppermint. Try blending spearmint and peppermint for a best-of-both mint melange!
Got some of this to try blending with Gunpowder and Sleeping Dragon. Absolutely perfect. Minty and calming without being overpowering like peppermint often is, just the right amount of flavor.
What's NOT to love about a good ol' spearmint tea? It's great on its own, refreshing without being overpowering, and blends well with other flavors as well as straight black and green teas. Plus, you can use this herb as seasoning for cooking and baking, if you are so inclined, or homemade beauty products. Love it!
Wonderful when mixed with vanilla and very nice on it's own!
I love this stuff alone or mixed with chamomile or rooibos or even all three! The spearmint smells delicious and tastes just as good. I haven't tried any other loose spearmint so I can't really compare it or comment on objective qualities though.
This is my favorite tea! Crisp and refreshing. I love it alone or mixed. Especially with Gunpowder green tea.
very crisp and refreshing! definitely wakes me up a little even though there's no caffeine. it has less of an intense, in-your-face mint smell than the peppermint.
