Spearmint Customer Reviews

Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

★★★★☆

This one is good, but my own personal preference for the enchanting heating and cooling combination of the peppermint will not allow me to make this its equal in rating.

★★★★★

I add this to many of my teas for a twist, not as strong as the peppermint, enjoy it in most great teas.

★★★★★

Very clean and refreshing. Can't decide if I like it better warm or cold, it's so delicious both ways. I tend to let it brew about double the recommend length of time though.

★★★★☆

I am usually a peppermint tea drinker, but I wanted to try something different so I gave this a chance and I really enjoyed. I would still favor the peppermint tea, but this was very good!

★★★★☆

Smells delicious, tastes really good too, especially with honey.

★★★★★

A wonderful delicious tea when I want something warm but not the caffeine!

★★★★★

Got this as a sample and it was fresh and delicious. Adagio does herbal teas very well! This is a great cup to relax with at the end of the day.

★★★★☆

It's not quite what I expected, but it's good. I was hoping to mix it with peppermint, because that's how I usually drink it, but they were sold out. Great for calming your belly or adding to other blends. Also very good cold.

★★★★☆

Sweeter than peppermint, and very smooth. Personally prefer this to peppermint.

★★★★★

I have loved the smell of spearmint all my life, and I opened the bag of this stuff and just was brought back to stealing mint leaves out of my grandma's garden. Mellow flavor.

★★★☆☆

Definitely softer than the peppermint, but not very fresh. If you ask for 'Yerba Buena' at Vallarta, you'll be much happier.

★★★★★

So it's basically the best mint tea ever because it doesn't taste like mint medicine. I think I'm already addicted.

★★★★★

Perfect for settling my stomach. I usually mix it in with other teas, but it still stands just fine on its own.

★★★★★

This is the perfect mint tea. I love it and will be buying it again.

★★★★★

Wonderfully cool and smooth. An ideal tea for blending!

★★★★☆

I generally drink mint teas for stomach aches and this one has good flavor. Nice and minty and fresh tasting.

★★★☆☆

I got a sample of spearmint. I tried it with no sweetness added and it was a little bitter but good mint flavor. It smells like I just opened a pack of spearmint bubble gum. I added a little local honey and it tasted good after a that. I will continue to buy the sample every now and then to mix with a little chamomile or another tea.

★★★★★

Very smooth and light mint. It's not necessarily my first choice always, but it does have a soothing scent!

★★★★☆

This was clearly spearmint, but it wasn't extremely intense, which made it pleasant to drink on it's own. It's also great blended with green tea, particularly gunpowder.

★★★★☆

Just what you would expect from a spearmint tea. if you are looking for something special, try casablanca twist - it brings mint teas to a new level!

★★★★★

I just can't stop smelling this stuff. Seriously. It's divine!

★★★★★

Spearmint is not my favorite, but this is still a very good herbal. I especially like blending it with my Gunpowder Green to make my version of Moroccan Mint Tea.

★★★★★

Spearmint on its own is good, but it's a really great way to liven up blends. I had some pure hibiscus, and I found it went well with this. It's also great with gunpowder green tea and lemongrass.

Great spearmint flavor without any taste like toothpaste

★★★★★

love mint tea the spearmint is a light refreshing taste .

★★★★★

Simple but absolutely amazing. A completely refreshing cup of tea for relaxation or special occasions. :D

★★★★★

This flavor is amazing. Not too strong, not too weak, it's perfect.

I think I prefer the bright sweetness of spearmint, but this is soothing in its groundedness. It's like a stick of Wrigley's, without the obnoxious candied notes.

★★★★☆

Its very strong but it's really good. Mix it with the chamomile! PERFECT for when you're sick or you need to warm up your voice in the early morning.

★★★★★

A great pick-me-up tea. I have the tea bags and normally stick one in my mug while at work about half way through my shift to get me to the end of the day. Has more than enough mint flavor to wake me back up.

★★★★★

This tea makes me feel relaxed after a LONG day of work!!!

★★★★★

Spearmint is great for when I want something minty, but peppermint is too harsh and crisp. Spearmint has a great, earthy feel to it. It also mixes wonderfully with the gunpowder green to make Moroccan mint. It also combines well with peppermint for a minty mix.

Fantastic flavor, made the whole room smell like spearmint. I love the tea by itself but I'm going to have to try it mixed with Gunpowder.

★★★★★

This is my favorite add on to any tea. I add it to my chamomile, sleeping dragon and my vanilla. Great tea for anyone who is looking for a healthy additive.

I hate spearmint. If you like spearmint, you might like this tea. It was very spearmint flavored.

★★★★★

Very nice and refreshing, without that peppermint twang that my mom calls 'toothpastey.' (Hey, I still love it, but the spearmint is a good middle ground.)

★★★☆☆

Smelled great, as someone who likes the spearmint flavor. As an actual tea, it made me slightly nauseous. Perhaps if I were actually ill, it would calm an upset stomach or open some nasal passages, but as an afternoon tea it wasn't right. I do have a reputation for over-brewing, which might have had something to do with it, but overall I'd recommend blends with spearmint as an element, rather than straight up mint. A high volume tea so the recipe calls for a lot of leaves and you don't get too many in the bag.

★★★★★

Well, it tastes like spearmint. Can't really get any better than that.

smooth, delicious, and perfect before bedtime. Love enjoying it with just a bit of sweetener

I prefer peppermint over spearmint. With sugar, it sort of tasted like I was drinking mint gum! It was good, however, for settling an upset stomach.

★★★★☆

nice, cool minty tea. I melted some chocolate bits in it and it tastes fabulous!

★★★☆☆

I drink peppermint all the time. This tea is nice, but not strong enough.

★★★★☆

A very good, minty tea. I can't wait to mix it with peppermint.

★★★★★

This mint is so amazing! I blend it with my gunpowder green tea, and my dragonwell, for a clean green tea flavor!

★★★★★

I've decided that I like this more than Adagio's peppermint tea - the peppermint is a little too sharp, whereas the spearmint is subtler, and good hot. The peppermint makes a better cold drink, though, so there's room in my cabinet for both. :)

★★★★☆

I don't think I have ever experienced such a pure mint rush as I got from this tea. It was like being mugged by spearmint.

★★★☆☆

Honestly i use this tea to mix with other teas, it does its job, but is nothing distinct. nothing beats fresh spearmint,

★★★★★

Ah, spearmint. The paragon of mint varieties. Smoother and sweeter than peppermint, and a nice addition to most anything. Good hot and cold, and especially so with honey.

★★★★★

the spearmint smells absolutely amazing and tastes just as good. I add it to green teas and chamomile for a perfect hint of mint

★★★★★

On a brew with only half as much spearmint as recommended, this tea makes a delicious cup that's relaxing and calming without being slam-mint-in-your-face. This is the first time I've ever had plain spearmint tea, and now I'm super excited to use it with others and see what happens. It's good to know that Spearmint provides a reliable tea on its own. omnomnom.
