Obviously had a perfect, sinus-clearing minty scent when I opened the bag. I couldn't wait to try a cup Moroccan mint tea, so I haven't tried spearmint on its own yet, but the blend is wonderful. The tea is bright without being too overpoweringly minty. Looking forward to exspearminting (pun most cruelly intended) with brewing this iced or in other blends.
Warm, fuzzy mouthfeel and relaxing. It also doesn't taste like toothpaste, which I've found is often the problem when I buy mint tea.
I decided I wanted to make my own 'Sleepytime' which turned out great with the spearmint. It's good with the peppermint too. Overall, it beats the heck out of the Celestial Seasonings.
Great pure spearmint tea compared to traditional bagged spearmint tea. The fact that its loose leaf allows a greater extraction of the minty taste. The refreshing cool from a hot sip is simply wonderful.
No lie in that name. It's definitely spearmint-y. Warmer flavor than the peppermint--overall I much prefer the Peppermint. I will blend this with some black tea and see what I think of that.

I've always wondered what the difference between peppermint and spearmint was, and so ordered both. Peppermint is a more common flavor, I think, and thus much easier to recognize. Spearmint is less biting, sweeter. Something I'd pair with an oolong or rooibos tea over a black.
This tea is delicious! It has a very strong flavor, even without steeping for too long. Perfect with a little sugar.

Compared to Peppermint this is milder, soft, sweet, no bite. Very fragrant and great sweetened. Also keeps well in the fridge for a couple of days. I mix this with Gunpowder for Moroccan Tea, which I like very sweet.
A decent mint tea, but it doesn't come close to Casablanca Twist.
I prefer the peppermint to this tea because I think the flavor is stronger. The spearmint tea smells very nice though, and if you think the peppermint is too overwhelming, this would be a great alternative.
very refreshing, great taste, and been good to my acne-prone skin. I drink about 2-3 cups every day to regulate my hormones, and it's been working great. Will be back for more soon!
I got a sample of this and was a little nervous as it smells like toothpaste in the bag, but it's lovely. Subtle, much more herbal, and not as strong as peppermint, which is nice sometimes. Will definitely order more.
I switch this up with Peppermint to keep the relaxing buzz going. Much more mild than Peppermint, this is perfect for anyone sensitive to the powerful peppermint.
The scent of this is amazing, just like spearmint gum. It's not an overbearing taste when steeped, but is definitely pleasantly minty. I like it with a bit of sweetener.

I love spearmint, but sometimes it disappoints me in tea and become grassy. This does not!
I wish this tea tasted as good as it smells. Don't get me wrong, I still like it, but it is not as good as peppermint.
Got the spearmint to mix with other teas and it works great for that, even a pinch will add nice flavor. I haven't worked up the nerve to try a straight cup yet but I'm sure it will be eye-opening.
Drink this all the time during the day after I've had my cup of black tea.
Update: I finally got around to making Moroccan mint tea and the spearmint has redeemed itself! Spearmint gives this tea a sweetness that peppermint doesn't have.
I got the spearmint so I can try making Moroccan mint tea, but decided to try the spearmint by itself first. I'm not terribly impressed. Maybe its because I prefer the punch of peppermint tea, maybe I brewed it wrong. But the spearmint by itself is just okay.
One of my favorite teas. It's certainly an 'Ol' Reliable' and is exactly what you hope and expect it to be. If you love spearmint, it's a hard tea to beat. Strong and caffeine free.
Excellent quality. I use this in a lot of blends. My favorite mix is this with green tea (I use gunpowder although I'm sure others would work just fine), lemongrass, peppermint. Delicious both hot and iced.

I bought this so that I could blend my own mint based herbal teas. I like the peppermint better, but this has good flavor. The only problem is that I brought this work then realized it looked like a large bag of pot! Luckily the smell was spearmint!

I LOVE peppermint. It's in my top 5 favorite teas. Now, I know spearmint and peppermint are different, but I figured, 'Why not? If I like mint, I'll keep an open mind.' I opened the sample bag and immediately regretted it. The warm, almost sugary scent reminded me of nothing but the green packs of gum that literally every student got from the gas station near my high school. I couldn't stand the stuff then, but now, the last thing I need is a painful reminder of the trends of secondary school. I didn't throw it out because I'm anything but close minded, but as a first impression, it's repulsive. To be updated upon testing...
I don't know if I didn't let this one steep long enough or what but I always felt this was a bit weak. Had potential but just meh.

This is a fantastic tea. I had never tried spearmint tea up until ordering it from here, but I'm glad I did. It seems to have more of a minty and refreshing flavor than peppermint teas I have tried, which is typically what one would prefer if choosing a mint tea.

I bought this for making my version of Moroccan Mint tea. You won't need a large bag, as it will last a while if using it for that purpose. Using 1/2 a tsp of both Gunpowder and Spearmint, along with 1/2 tsp of sugar per cup at time of brewing, you're rewarded with a minty, yet slightly smokey, cup of tea, that's probably as refreshing when brewed stronger and served over ice. I await the return of summer to verify this!

To me, this is what goes into GOOD mint iced tea. Not peppermint, it's too sharp and bracing. Our neighbor keeps our peppermint patch trimmed down in the summer making sun tea. We're glad to share. It's the spearmint tucked away behind the garden I keep to myself. This is the mint julep mint, and if it's good enough for bourbon, it's good enough for tea. Adagio's is no exception to this rule.
My first instinct when I open the bag is to smell the contents deeply, and it smelled so good. I brewed as directed. Not too strong, and not too overpowering which was to be expected. I love this tea.

I got this to mix with some gunpowder tea I already had, but I think I'm going to have to order more if I want to mix them because I keep drinking it all by itself. It smells so amazing I could use it as potpourri, but that'd mean I couldn't drink it all.

I love mint teas, but prefer the peppermint to spearmint. The peppermint has a slightly stronger flavor, but the spearmint is good when you want a mint tea that isn't as strong.
A very nice, minty tea. Make sure you don't over-steep, however.
mixes well with vanilla and with chamomile for a nice morning wake up.
