Spearmint Customer Reviews

Refreshingly clear, soothing aroma. Slightly smoother, more grounded than peppermint, gentle to the palate.

This tea tastes just like spearmint gum! It's a wonderful tea for any time day or night. But, it is especially wonderful when your tummy is not quite feeling right. It helps change that right around!

sweeter version for mint tea...which I prefer. smooth tasting, mild and no bad after taste. delightful

★★★★★

It is hard to go wrong with spearmint tea, but this is particularly good. Smooth, refreshing, great on its own or mixed with ceylon iced.

★★★★★

I mix this with ceylon sonata (about 25 spearmint, as it's pretty strong) for a deliciously refreshing mint tea.

★★★★★

A very nice spearmint. It's cool and refreshing while not being overpowering. Even my partner, who's not a huge fan of mint teas, enjoys this one, though I prefer to steep it longer for a stronger flavor.

★★★☆☆

i dont like spearmint gum, so i was quite surprised that i liked this. i add just a bit of sugar, and milk, and steep it a little longer than the package says.

★★★★★

Light and uplifting, very clean tasting. I like to put a teaspoon in with other teas to brighten them!

★★★★★

There's not much to say about spearmint other than the fact that its amazing and a very versatile mixing agent. I love it mixed with black and green tea.

★★★★☆

I like to mix this tea with a sleepy time tea I store buy. Alone it is really strong and minty, which is okay but not exactly my cup of tea (hehe)

★★★★★

add a little honey and this tea becomes a nice sweet mint glad i took a risk and just ordered this instead of peppermint

It's everything you'd expect Spearmint brewed in a cup to be. Has a very minor minty tingle compared to peppermint. To me the flavors are almost the same. Spearmint might be a little more uniform in flavor from beginning to end of each sip.

★★★★★

I love mint tea, and Adagio's spearmint is clean and refreshing. I like it both hot and iced (it is especially brisk and refreshing to drink it iced in our hot Texas summers). It is a great tea for morning or night.

★★★★★

A nice grounded alternative to the peppermint. Just as fresh and flavorful, but without that high, top bite. Great for blending.

★★★★★

Hug in a Cup! Refreshing and Comforting. Even my Father enjoyed it.

★★★★★

I love the flavor it is mild but yet strong enough.

A mild, smooth mint tea. It is soothing and mellow. Even the aroma of the loose tea before you brew is very pleasant. I think it's best with a longer steep time.

I bought this to make Moroccan Mint Tea. I have not tried that yet, but by itself it is very pleasant fresh minty taste without being as harsh as peppermint can be. My 7 year old son loves it as well, when sweetened of course. He does not care much for tea in general, so I was impressed by that. I was surprised how good it was, as I was planning on this only being used in blends with other teas. I will try it next blended with gunpowder. In the future, I would like to try it blended with peppermint.

I bought this to make Moroccan Mint tea but wanted to try it separately before mixing it with gunpowder tea. It tastes exactly as it should, minty, relaxing, and wonderful.

★★★★★

I really enjoyed this tea. It's flavorful, and it relaxes you at night. I recommend this tea!

★★★★☆

When I took my first sip of spearmint, my tongue felt like it was numbed. I didn't like it at first because it was very different from my usual teas and felt... off. Guess that was the 'herbal' part of the tea kicking in. But the more I drank the more I got used to it and finally started to appreciate the taste. It also does wonders for my nose!

★★★☆☆

This was a little strong for our taste. Make sure not to over brew it.

★★★★★

Tasted just like spearmint gum, and was exactly right for a cold night with a book!

★★★★★

Stronger and crisper than Adagio's peppermint tea. I like it.

★★★★☆

What it says on the tin. Tasty spearmint infusion.

★★★★☆

This was a little strong for me. Use only a small amount if you get it for blending or it will overwhelm the other flavors.

★★★★★

I've always been a fan of peppermint tea, however I didnt realize what the difference between peppermint and spearmint was so I decided to do a taste test with the two. Spearmint won, starting simply with smell. The smell and taste of the tea is much fresher and much more what I think of when it comes to mint. the peppermint is still good, I just personally enjoy the spearmint much more.

★★★★☆

I really liked the overall cool but hot taste/feeling that I get when I drink it. Still learning how to blend different teas when I do I'm going to need to store a good amount of spearmint.

★★★★☆

I love drinking this tea at work, wakes me up and gets me back on track with what I'm doing.

★★★★★

Love, love, LOVE spearmint. Not normally, not like in candies, but in a tea? It's awesome. Less intense than peppermint, a lot more refreshing, IMO.

★★★★★

Awesome! Much more mellow than peppermint, less of a menthol sharpness after drinking. Mixes well with many teas.

A Classic and a favorite. I seep mine a little bit extra to get a more bold taste or mix it with peppermint sometimes.

★★★★☆

I really enjoy this tea! The spearmint smell is strong just how I like! It doesn't need much sugar to taste divine!

This is the best spearmint tea ive had. The whole kitchen smells good when its brewing. It will be one i keep in stock.

★★★★★

This is also the first time that I am having pure spearmint as a herbal tea. A light and sweet mint but to be quite honest not as good as I expected it to be after my experience of enjoying spearmint candy more than peppermint. Shocking as I think in reality when it comes to plain mint tea I actually like peppermint more but overall when it comes to a peppermint/spearmint blend Adagio's beat the bagged variety big time.

I stopped enjoying peppermint when I began to associate it with being sick. Spearmint is the perfect replacement!

Spearmint has always been a favorite so when I recently made my first big dive into loose teas ordering this was a no brainer. I absolutely love it. It is so soothing.Great for settling your tummy after a big meal or to calm allergies on a cold rainy night.

It tastes like you're drinking chewing gum. I don't know when you'd drink this straight, but I think it could be paired with something to make it delicious.

★★★★★

This is spearmint pure and simple. Great for multiple infusions. Tastes so much fresher than bagged tea. Great alone or mixed with chamomile for a sleepytime blend.

★★★★☆

A little goes a long way! Mixed lightly with gun powder green is a very nice hot tea.

★★★★★

So delicious <3 Its also really good as equal parts spearmint, peppermint, and vanilla rooibos chai or masala chai (depending on if you want it caffeine free or not). Really delicious and crisp on its own though.

Love this tea. It is so soothing with a little pick me up.

★★★★★

Haven't tried this on its own but I mix it with gunpowder and it's perfect.

★★★★☆

Spearmint has a really interesting flavor and is more mild than peppermint. Overall I really like it - usually I can steep it for a very long time and it doesn't affect the quality of the tea, it just becomes very strong.

★★★★★

In general, spearmint is spearmint to me so I can't say this is better than some other brand of spearmint. I love having it on hand to sooth my stomach after a large meal. It complements my smokier flavored green teas well and also mixes well with my evening cup of gynostemma tea.

★★★★★

My very favorite tea so far! Smells great tastes great! Very light but flavorful.

★★★★★

Incredibly soothing and delicious tea! Good with or without milk and/or sugar :))

★★★★★

Have not tasted yet, but if this stuff is 1/2 as good as the peppermint, then I will be fully satisfied. Why am I leaving a review before tasting it? because I need those free tasting cup points man, come' on!!

★★★☆☆

this tea definitely is minty, but the taste is not very 'deep'

Awesome for stomach problems. Best tea when you want a non-caffeine treat.
