This tea was just ok. I tried steeping it for different amounts but the apple taste wasn't what I was hoping it would be.
Smells strongly of vinegar for some reason, but tastes wonderfully of tart apples.
Surprisingly weak at the suggested concentration, especially when compared to Dewy Cherry.

So, be warned, the scent of the tissane itself if horrific. Very Jolly Rancher hyped on flowers. Yuck! But, if/when you bring yourself to actually brew the tea it’s much, much better. It’s apple-y, but with more and more with tartness. Think Granny Smith rolling briefly through some tart berries. Apple is not really my “thing” but I will definitely consider purchasing again.

I loved this one but mainly cold. Once this one gets cold it literally taste like apple juice if you add just a tiny bit of sugar. When hot its good but colder brings it to a different level.

This was my favorite before they came out with Pina Colada! Tastes like a tart, sweet apple. Brews fast, sometimes too many apple pieces and not enough tea in the bag.

I had some reservations when I first smelled this tea. It smelled sour, in the bad way. Once brewed however, it did not smell as sour, and it was a beautiful red color. Oddly, it tasted like one of Celestial Seasoning's herbal teas, Berry Zinger or something?
Love this one!! Full of so much flavor! This is perfect for the fall. I will definitely be ordering a lot more of this! If you follow the recommended temp and time you will get a perfect cup each time!
This is such a fun tea! It really does have the tart and fruity flavor I was looking for- definitely a new favorite!
Mixed it with berry blast. Great tea on its own as well as with other fruit teas. The saleswomen who told us to mix them was right on! Thanks for the suggestion
The bags fall apart in the cup so make sure to use a strainer
Tasted like drinking vinegar...this one I had to throw away which I sure detest doing but it was Terrible... even within the pouch the smell was awful
This tea is nice and appley - perfect for autumn days. Be careful about over-steeping because it can acquire a really unpleasant sourness. I don't steep for longer than 5 minutes.
This herbal was very weak and I just didn t love it. Maybe others will?
It reminds me of a lighter version of apple cider. It has a wonderful warm apple flavor and is easily very drinkable. As soon as you open the bag, it smells of sour apple and the tea looks appetizing too. The fruits are discernible and the tea leaves are tightly rolled giving a nice flavor.It does not overpower your taste buds so I would definitely recommend this on a cold day especially.
Does what it says on the tin (sack). Definite recognizable sour apple taste, a bit of a watery taste otherwise. Still for an herbal not bad. Wish there was a non candy apple black tea

The flavor is good. However, it tastes like banana baby food and not really apple. I like banana baby food though. Haha.
I love the taste of this but it is strong, so you might wanna use less than usual its a strong flabvor

Holds its true meaning of sour and the smell is very strong.. it can clear your sinuses instantly lol. But it is delicious. I like to blend this with others like for ex. chamomile.
Nice and sweet, good with sugar. I love apple teas and like making them iced too. Just prepare the tea normally (with sugar!) and add ice cubes to quickly cool it down. Delicious!

Very flavorful with a bold apple taste! I prefer my teas sweetened, but with this one, I only added 1 tbsp of sugar to the entire french press (4 cups) and it was plenty sweet. I only drank it hot, but I am positive it would also taste great chilled.
I ended up being inspired by Adagio's tea cookies and made this into tasty shortbread cookies, although the tea was pretty good, too.

My first thought upon reading 'sour apple' is an artificial sourness one might encounter in the candies of a grocery store check-out line. This tea is anything but. The tanginess of the crab apples is what gives it all of its sour flavor. It's the perfect balance between this and the sweetness of other apple chunks.
Not as sour as you might expect from the title, but the tartness is definitely not artificial. A very delightful herbal tea.
A little tart for my taste, but it is SOUR apple. If you like things a little more on the tart side, it'll be a good blend for you.
