This is refreshing and energizing and fruity! Not bitter and didn't make me jittery.
I was expecting more kick from this flavor. I couldn't really tell what made this different from other non-fruit tea varieties, and I certainly didn't notice the caffeine content this was supposed to have over others. I don't find this strong, energizing or flavorful, so I wouldn't recommend it as anything special
one of my new favorite mate blends, this tea has a delicious spicy flavor without being too overwhelming. great on a brisk morning.

This was a gift. . She felt really relaxed after drinking a cup. She says this is one of the best she has had in a while.
Smooth, gently fruity-spicy, with a pleasantly lingering flavor. Enormously drinkable, I think I'd like to try this iced.
This tea is not as strong as Teavana but still good!
it's not a perfect dupe for Teavana's samurai chai mate(may it rest in peace), but it's good enough for me to scratch that itch. the almond flavor is a bit strong but otherwise very tasty!

NOT like Teavana’s Samurai Chai Mate! I just did a side by side test between two cups - Adagios and Teavanas - and the teas are NOT like each other. The Adagio tea is harsh. My husband and adult daughter tried both teas and said a) they’re not similar and b) Teavanas version was much better. Also - this tea is giving me massive indigestion. Thank you for trying Adagio but I think the name on this needs to be changed - it’s not nearly similar enough to make the claim. BUT I’m sure many people will like the blend on its own - just not as a substitute for the beloved Teavana version. Sorry.
First off, the smell of this tea is absolutely amazing. It's so warm and inviting, almost like you're huddled in a knitted sweater blanket on a snowy day by the window with the fireplace lit in the other room. The taste of this tea is full bodied with warm hints of clove and a slight sweetness. By far one of my favorites!
not for those who love subtlety, this tea comes on with a straightforward kick! great in the morning...i love it!
Have been trying to find a fix after Teavana got sucked up by the beamooth coffee czars of Seattle. This is not quite the Maharajah Chai mix that I loved, but so much better - always had to use a lot of tea for a tepid flavor, even after fifteen minutes of steeping. The flavors blast forward after five to ten minutes, and are incredible. In addition, no sugar - I did not like the Teavana mixes that contained sugar. Let me choose my own sweetners (honey only), thank you very much.

This was surprisingly a great flavor for my fiancee and I. It was not bold like other Mate teas which was great for me. I added just a touch of fresh squeezed lemon and a few sugar crystals for more flavor.
What does a samurai taste like? If it's anything like this tea than sign me up!

This is a delicious blend of mate, chai spices, and citrus that makes for a wonderful morning hot brew. As other people have noted, you can blend this with Raja Oolong Chai or Masala Chai to get it closer to the Teavana Samurai Chai Mate they had. It's been so long since I drank the Teavana blend, but I remember enjoying it, and this Adagio version is a fantastic replacement. Long live Adagio Teas!
I really like this one, although I wouldn't say it gives the energy boost it claims.
Personally, I found the tea smelled very good and quite fresh. Following the instructions on the package, I steeped for ~1 (large) tsp for a about 7-8 minutes to make a cup. The resulting tea seemed about right (not overdone), and the flavor was pretty solid with a strong lemon grass flavor at the bottom. I highly recommend stirring up the brew before/while drinking for a better balance of flavor. Overall, it isn't *my* favorite tea, but I will likely drink it now and then, and would encourage anyone curious to give it a shot.
This tea, blended with the Ayurvedic White Chai, is an absolutely wonderful blend. I blend the two teas with a 1:1 ratio and brew the blend at the white chai temperature. The result is a smooth tea with a spicy/fruity flavor.
It is very tasty but slightly different than what I expected since I was used to the Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana. I didn't realize it didn't have chai so I mixed the Masala chai with it and that made it taste very similar. Great tea.
I bought the Raja Oolong Chai and Samurai Mate because they were Adagio's suggested replacements for Teavana's Maharaja Chai Oolong and Samurai Chai Mate, which I liked to blend together and was desperately missing. I was hoping to find a suitable replacement, and if anything these two are better! Both are good alone, but they really shine together in my opinion. I mix them 60% Raja Oolong to 40% Samurai Mate. This blend has the rich, warm spiciness I like with lighter fruity flavors blended in. Great with a little honey!
I really like this tea but I like it even better mixed with fire cinnamon.
I don't love it. The smell is really strong in an off-putting way, and the flavor isn't enough to compensate unfortunately. Maybe I'll try and brew it for less time than recommended when I feel up to trying it again.
This tea not only smells amazing, it is absolutely delicious! It is a great way to start my work day, and pairs well with my morning mushroom extract!
Mixed with the raja olongapo chai it’s great, but by itself it is too herbaceous or grassy for me personally
Great blend of spice and sweetness. It has quite a kick so I would drink this tea more in the morning or for that mid day pick me up. I think it leans more to the spicy side in flavor especially the cardamom & cinnamon. this one is better than the teavana version. We keep a bigger bag of this one and Kona Pineapple in stock at all times It's a great go too!

Absolutely fantastic! I bought this in addition to the Raja Oolong Chai to hopefully recreate my favorite Maharajah Chai/Samurai Chai from Teavana and the Adiago blend is identical!!! Love it- will definitely be buying again!
I wasn t sure what to expect out of this, but I was pleasantly surprised. A fruity, citrus flavor forms the base, while a spicy, warming flavor lingers on after. It was good cold, too.
I was surprised by the kick this one had...it is a great afternoon pick me up!

I loved this blend! It perked me up, so I wouldn't drink this blend in the evening. The spices all work well with each other and samarai mate is such a fun name!
Mixed right with the Raja Oolong Chai you get a pretty close taste just like you got from Teavana. Now I can still enjoy my Chia London Fog Latte again.
The similarity to Teavana is perfect. We mix it with White ayurvedic chai and the blend is awesome! We love this tea and it tastes excellent!
Wonderful tea that is even better blended with Raja oolong and masala chai. On its own it’s tasty but would have preferred a bit more lemongrass.
Great smell after pouring it into your mug. Great Caribbean taste to it.
The complexities of this blend make it something to behold. It is almost worth ordering pound bags of this. The flavors are all seamless, and it is a real treat to have this tea at any time of the day.
