This tea has a great aroma but is on the weak side by itself. It was a good addition mixed with either masala chai or raja oolong chai.

This tea has a surprising smell, VERY fruity, almost like a fruit punch, but when it's brewed, the flavor is much more subtle, still fruity, I'm a little on the fence about how much I like it, but it's a good tea.

The spices and the fruit flavors are well balanced and work perfectly with the mate. It s so good that I ve already recommended it to a coworker who loves mate. I never had the Teavana tea blend this was meant to emulate, so I couldn t say which one is better. This is definitely a great way to begin the day, especially when it s freezing outside.
Trying to mimic the Teavana blend of this and the Chai. I don't know the ratios so it wasn't quite right.

So much almond! The original didn't have any almond as far as I'm aware, so that was definitely a weird choice. If you're looking for a nutty chai this might be a good choice, but for me the almond flavoring was a complete turn off.
Awesome by itself, 6/5 stars when mixed with the Raja chai

Used as part of an experiment to recreate Teavana Chai/Chai Blend. 1:1:1 Samurai Mate//Masala Chai//Raja Oolong Chai creates a very close recreation with its own unique nuiances. Experiment success.
Has an overpowering fruit smell im not used to with Teavana Samurai Mate. will take a bit to get used to.
