I’m a newbie to Adagio teas and I enjoy the past purchased teas but this one was a bit different, it had a taste of a cough or cold medicine that I had to take as a child in the 1950’s. I like the large dose of caffeine and the smell of this tea is excellent but the taste brings back a memory only my parents can enjoy.
Mixed this with Raja Oolong Chai and made a good dupe for the Teavana Chai Mate

I can't decide! I do like it and sometimes I even crave it but halfway through my mug it's a bit too peppery or spicy for me. I love spicy teas but something about this one is sweet with a spicy after taste. I'm very undecided. I may try a faster steep time and steep twice instead of discarding after one cup. I think that will do it.
I was looking for a dupe of Samurai Chai from Teavana and after doing a Google search I stumbled across this website and the Samurai Mate tea. It tastes just like it! If you liked the Samurai Chai tea from Teavana then you would also like this! Would repurchase.
Very smooth and heavy on the chai spices with some fruity notes. No real acidity/tannin to it like you get from black and some green teas. I very much enjoyed the spiciness, the cinnamon and cardamom are very present in this tea. Drank an entire pot before I'd realized it.
This is a very mild tea, but it's soothing and a good choice for the evening.
One of my favorite teas by Adagio! I mix it with Raja Oolong and steep for 5-8 min.

This is one of my favorite teas so far! :) It is so light and spicy - I find myself drinking all day. If you are interested - I would highly recommend it! Very similar to the Teavana blend - Just a tad bit more fruity.

This is reorder for me. It was something I tried and enjoyed after starting with berry herbals.
Probably the best tea I've ever tasted. Sorry, that's just my opinion. I'm pretty sure it's catnip for humans. It may even smell better before brewing. Has the scent of summer in all of its entirety. I will order so much more of this!
This blend is perfect. The aroma is great and it gives you an energy boost. The taste is perfectly crisp. I like using 2 to 3 tsp in a 6-8 oz cup
Wonderful tea. I came here looking for a replacement for Teavana's samurai chai tea mate and this blended with Masala Chai is fairly close.
Very very close to my Samurai Mate blend I would buy from Teavana. The cinnamon taste is just right for me, and I will be keeping this on my tea shelf at all times!
This tea is not for me as the main note I taste is the natural almond flavour, and I don't like almond. It's not a bad tea, and I did drink it, but the almond puts me off.
If you're looking for a 'certain tea company's' chai blend, this one, blended with Raja Chai Oolong, is an excellent comparison. On its own, this tea is fruity, spicy, and citrusy.

I have been trying to find my favorite Teavana chai mix replacement. Ordered the Raja Oolong, Masala & just recently this Samurai Mate, but still can’t get the right combination. Very disappointed. Maybe some else has achieved it, let me know.

This tea was an acquired taste for me, initially it seemed a bit smokey, but it is vey good.
Good spice flavor balances out the mate well. My second favorite mate after the chocolate hazelnut one.
My favorite new tea. They somehow add this apple-like sensation to mate that fits it so well. It is perfectly mild. Like aggressively mild. It simmers you down and creates a cool buzz that you can ride on. This elevated Mate to me, and I was already a huge fan.
