I got this as a dupe to the original version from Teavana. I think I actually prefer the adagio version. Its almost identical, but this version is a bit more potent and refreshing in my opinion. I loved it so much I bought the huge bags. I have always been a coffee person. However, this blend mixed with the Raja Oolong Chai has converted me to being a tea person.
I blended this with the Masala mate and the Raja Oolong Chai and it is delicious.
The bright papaya and pineapple are apparent right form the start, followed by the perfectly balanced amount of cinnamon for a truly delightful cup.
I mix this with Raja Oolong Chai to make my favorite Teavana chai tea.
Wow, this really packs a punch. It really does wake me up, without any need for caffeine!
This is great when mixed with Raja Oolong and Masala Chai. Some other fun ingredients to toss in: rose buds, vanilla extract, and saffron threads.
The flavor on this one is good. I love the mild energetic buzz the Yerba Mate gives but the flavor needs work. I drank it but didnt love it. A little too spicy for me with numbing flavors. Not HOT spicy but cinnamon spicy.
Lovely flavors and a very nice kick of caffeine. My favorite of the Mate varieties on this site.
Wasn’t sure when I bought this if I was going to like it. Bought it on the recommendation of one of the store’s staff. I ‘m really not a “spice” fan but this is quite good.
I bought this when I ran out of my longtime favorite of the same name from Teavana, hoping it would match up as a substitute. It's good but lacks the depth that Teavana's has. I like to mix this with the raja oolong chai.

A cool and refreshing blend that tastes somewhere between an apple cider and a bowl of fruity oatmeal. With just a touch of a sour sort of flavor. Delicious and will certainly buy again!
I wasn't sure about this tea the first time I made it, but it definitely grew on me. When I make a pot of it, I find that the last cup has the most notes from the pineapple and papaya.
Cinnimon and clove! This is awesome. One on mine and my daughters favorites. Makes your mouth and throat numb.

It smelled very cinnamony in the bag, but tastes more like a chai. However, it's not the best chai I've had. I'll finish this bag and won't reorder.
My least fave so far. There are too many disparate flavors. The cardamom is overwhelming to me. I just can't get into it so I gave it away.
This is an absolutely fantastic tea! When I first tasted it, I was automatically hit with a combination of cinnamon and ginger- those are the real stars in this tea. When I purchased this tea, I had no idea that it contained caffeine! Thankfully it does, this drink is the best pick-me-up I have ever had to get me through long days at work! Heavily recommended!
I have been meaning to try a mate tea. This one has a nice flavor, cinnamon and some spice (not spicy though). It did give me a nice calm but alert mind. I will be ordering this again for the morning.
I have looked for a replacement for Teavana blend Maharaja / Samurai Chai and the blend of Raja Oolong and Samurai is very close.
This tea gives me tingles when I inhale it, and warms my body and my soul. I find this tea very soothing! Definitely in my top two

This is pretty good mate but not my favorite. I was trying to replicate a teavana and this isn't very close. Fortunately I love a lot of the other adagio mate blends and chais even better then anything from teavana.

This tea is a mess. I did not think that it was bad but it was not good and you never got the same flavor profile since all the pieces of it were so large.
Two scoops of this, and 1 of Raja Oolong Chai and 2 of Masala Chai make a good replacement for teavana maharaja chai oolong samurai chai mate

One of my favorites I liked to mix daily with the white Ayurvedic chai tea.
I've only had this together with the Raja Oolong Chai (50/50 mix) but together they are fantastic. Not exactly the same as Teavana's Maharaja Chai Oolong / Samurai Chai Mate but very similar.
This is a delicious morning/afternoon tea. As it was brewing, the smell reminded me of some candy I couldn't put a name to, but in the cup, it has a delightful red hots thing going on! Smooth, uplifting, and spicy!
It s a bold flavored yerba mate. Couldn t drink everyday but nice when I am in the mood for a bold spiced tea with the nice yerba mate energy boost.
Mixed with raja oolong chai to try and recreate teavanas chai chai blend. Turned out pretty good. I also add a bit of masala chai as a black tea base.

Those two chais go so well together, that I never end up adding any cream or sugar. I just sip it straight. There's a subtly sweetness to this one. With both combined... they're my favorite chai on the site.
Add this tea to the Raja Chai and you have a great Teavana replacement !!
