This was amazing! There was the perfect balance of spiciness and fruitiness. This was a great tea drinking experience, from the first sip through the entire pot.
I bought it because it sounded reminiscent of the Samurai Chai from Teavana, and I was not disappointed. I only bought a sample with this order - but I will definitely be buying a larger size next time.
Found this while googling 'Teas similar to teavannas Samarai Chai Mate', and was not disappointed. Would highly recommend sweetening with rock sugar as opposed to regular sugar.

Like others, I was trying to recreate a Teavana blend (Maharaja Chai Oolong & Samurai Chai Mate Oolong) by mixing this and Adagio Raja Oolong Chai. The Samurai Mate seems heavy handed on almond flavor/aroma in my opinion, It kind of overwhelms the other ingredients. It is a nice tea if that's what you are in the mood for, but every time I open it I think someone spilled almond extract. I am thinking about letting some air out for a while to see if it calms down a bit.

A touch bitter, if you like that type of flavor. I find if you drink it 'the English way' it really punches up the flavor while toning down the bitterness. A tablespoon of sugar and a splach of milk or cream.
The dry leaf smells really spicy and citrusy. However, the flavor has more of a lemon grass/mate bite than I was expecting. I was hoping for it to have more spices and sweetness, but without sugar, it’s kinda missing the notes I was hoping to get.
I can see the appeal in this tea but the odd balancing of flavors and the aftertaste of Mate made this tea something I'm not excited to come back to.
very good blend of flavors, I love the hint of lemongrass. It's sweet but not too sweet. I am not a fan of sweet teas, and each time I have a sip I comment, 'This is really good'
I ordered this tea specifically to replace an old Teavana habit of mine. It is very similar as has a great flavor over all!
This is almost a perfect dupe for Teavana's as brewed in-store. It could be a little stronger and the color is just a little lighter. I'm sure if I experimented a little I could get it just right.
This tea has a really strong cinnamon smell, but the taste is more mild. The cinnamon taste fades into a nice fruity flavor. I really enjoyed it.

This is so delicious! Made it a little strong and it was so spice spicy it's really what I needed for my upset belly. Definitely going to get more. Potted one cup after 5 minutes then put the infuser back in for another couple of minutes. Both times were great

I've been looking for something similar to the Teavana chai blends for ages and finally tried this one blended with the Raja Oolong Chai and it was exactly what I've been missing all these years! I have one of the Breville automatic tea makers that ensures the right temperature and time for steeping so I always get the perfect cup of tea. I will definitely be buying so much more of this when I run out!
This tea had a chai type of flavor to it. The ginger and cinnamon are very strong.
Brewed this for an iced tea and it worked out way better than expected! Makes a super refreshing cold tea for the hot summer days.

Always a classic choice. Fragrant, floral, and a die hard chai. Smells the room of tropical, peppery goodness. Very similiar to Teavana s recipe.
I love this tea. It has a wonderful flavor whether it is combined with the White Chai or on it's own. I like this tea both hot and cold, it's delicious either way.

Tea first piqued my interest as a teenager when I tried a chai blend from Teavana. It was a combination of their White Ayurvedic Chai and Samurai Chai Mate. It's remained my favorite tea blend through the years, and I was very disappointed when I could no longer get it.
This tea, blended with White Ayurvedic Chai, recreates that blend almost perfectly. Love it! I rarely drink these two teas by themselves, so the steeping info is for the blend (1 tsp of this, 2 tsp of White Ayurvedic Chai).
love it in combination with the Raja Oolong Chai, really taste like the teavana one I used to love
First impression was very spicey! I like to mix this with another tea (Almond Oolong or Honeybush Hazelnut) to bring the spice a bit down. I like it enough to rebuy though.

Combined with the White Ayurvedic and I m dreaming of Teavanna days gone by. A little honey is great too. By itself it will wake you up pretty quickly
Amazing tea, I mixed Samurai Mate, Raja Oolong Chai and Masala Chai for a near mix to mimic Teavana's Samurai Chai Mate, I love my blend from Adagio much better than the one from Teavana.
