Lovely cup for summer. Felt very vacation-esque, as iced.

Updated review: I finally purchased this to give it a fair shot... and it was totally worth it. Full strength this really lives up to the aroma I was getting before. It is mildly tart, with a sweet, spicy mulled cider vibe. I can make out the individual flavors, which are very well balanced. Plus it smells awesome. I like it best using 2 tsp of dry tea for a 12 oz mug. This has made it onto my top 5 favorite herbals list.

Original review (Dec 12th '20): I'm rating this based on the fantastic smell and thoughts that I would have liked it at full strength... my communiTEA packet today had barely 1/2 tsp worth of sad pulverized crumbs. Even so, it smelled delicious dry and brewed. I made the mistake of using a giant mug for my photo, and I should have known better with the amount of leaves I had, so it was my own fault. It smelled strong, but tasted really weak. I did enjoy the combo of flavors, though I couldn't really pick any one out. Thankfully it did not taste like another mug of just hibiscus and rose hips, but I would have liked more of the spice it promised, as I couldn't really taste any. I think at full strength, with full sized bits of ingredients, I would have enjoyed it. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 10 min @ 212F)

Another great fruit tea, refreshing but packs a flavorful punch.

★★★★★

Probably my favorite Adagio tea. It's lovely hot, or iced. Tangy and refreshing... fruity but different. On steady reorder.

This tea was Ok not my favorite but. I think it is a personnel taste

I've been drinking this tea and trying to figure out how to review it for MONTHS, because somehow it's never quite been what I wanted and I could never find a way to explain why. It always felt like it was missing something--pleasant enough, a bit sweet, a bit tangy, a bit spicy, but like there was a flavor note that ought to be there and wasn't. The fruit flavors are very mild and subtle, and I wanted more.

Turns out I just needed to drink it iced. As an iced tea, the simple, not-exceptionally-flavored mild fruity flavor just feels very refreshing, and the ginger spice comes across a lot more strongly, especially after it's sat in the fridge for a while.

I probably still won't buy it again, but now I know I'll enjoy drinking the rest of it! If you want a mildly fruity iced tea with a strong gingery bite (I bet it would be really great as a sweet iced tea as well, though I brewed mine plain), this might be the tea for you.

This tea tastes how I expected. It smells a bit stronger than it tastes, but it's a good flavor with a heaping teaspoon steeped for 10 minutes. The pomegranate flavor is instantly noticeable, as well as the cinnamon. It has a natural sweetness similar to that of a raisin. It's a little tangy but not nearly as much as many of Adagio's other fruit flavors. This is a good fruity tea for the colder months, but it's great anytime!

I
LOVE
THIS
TEA!!!

This is my favorite tea by far and it is the most enjoyable. I drink it in the mornings when i am off to work and when I am home? When I don't want caffeine from a soda? I can easily brew this and enjoy it. Hot or cold, this tea is amazing and if you love fruity teas and just deliciousness? Highly recommend!

(Also recommend trying this tea with the big ole tea brewer. Its an expensive brewer, don't get me wrong? But you will love yourself when it arrives and it does all the work for you and more!)

★★★★☆

Fun flavor and tea that is great iced and mixed with some seltzer

★★★★★

This is a really nice herbal that feels perfect for autumn.

★★★★★

Great tasting tea would purchase again. I highly recommend this tea for your enjoyment.

★★★★☆

As with all of Adagio's herbal teas of this kind, heavy Hibiscus notes, but has a nice 'spicy' flavor.

I like this tea! It tastes like pomegrate, and not just apple which I was concerned about.

Absolutely delightful tea. I had to immediately had to order more.

Pleasantly tart and spicey. I have purchased this one twice now because I love it so much. It's good when I want something that tastes like fall.

Opening the pouch this tea smelled amazing. I used 2 tsp. for my large 17 oz. mug. I brewed at 200° for 7 min, I like my fruit tisanes strong. The liquor was a beautiful deep rosy pink. While hot the flavors were very faint, coming forward as it cooled. All the fruit blended well together but I feel it could have had more pomegranate to it. I prefer this one cold, over ice. Overall a nice cuppa for a warm spring day.

Nice red tea that reminds me of winter and glögg, with the color and cinnamon and ginger.

★★★★☆

Very good, although it does better when paired with another herbal or white tea. By itself it lacks a full body, but it adds good notes when blended!

this is nice the cinnamon is a bit weird, but otherwise a nice cup

★★★★★

At first sip, the tart hibiscus tempered by rose hips and the sweet pomegranate flavors battle for dominance. There is a zing of cinnamon and ginger on my tongue at the finish. This is a full-bodied fruit-based herbal that is a bit on the tart side, which I enjoy. The warmth from the cinnamon and ginger is the perfect level for enjoyment without overwhelming the blend. This feels like a winter fruit blend to me, warm and comforting.

Did not taste like pomegranate, had a very thanksgiving cooking spices taste.

★★★★★

Oh, my favorite tea when I am looking for something comforting and delicious.

★★★★★

Really good “red” tea that reminds me of something that I can’t quite put my finger on... mulled wine perhaps? Great fall/winter vibe with the cinnamon and ginger going on here too.

This isn't the worst fruit tea, but the cinnamon was an odd choice for this tea. I would drink it again.

While I tend to think the fruity 'teas' all taste very similar, this one is a bit different. The spiciness of it really is a nice addition. This tastes like the holiday season or a tea for a good, cold winter day in the house.

★★★★★

This is my absolute favorite so far! I enjoy it's delicious blend of flavours with a teaspoon of raw honey after dinnertime.

This is fruity and delicious; it's great with a little honey.

★★★★☆

Enjoyed the pomegranate notes and rose hips. I enjoy the mix of different herbs/fruit in the tea.

★★★☆☆

This tea is good but found the rose flavor a bit much for me. I wish there was more pomengranate flavor to it

I won't rate this too low since it was likely personal preference, but I didn't like this one. The spices and fruit combined to create a flavor that was just weird for me. It wasn't too tart, at least.

★★★★★

Beautiful sweet and tart flavor and the scent was amazing. The color of the tea was a beautiful color and I will be ordering this again.. Perfection...

★★★★☆

This was a good tea, ecept I was a little surprised when there was cinnamon in it. I wasn't expecting it with the fruit flavor. I like to mix this with decaf ceylon.

★★★★★

Such wonderful flavors I absolutely love this combination and am so happy to have this in my tea selection.

Very sharp, fruity, and tart. Maybe it's good if you're into that kind of thing, but this is not a tea for me.

★★★★☆

This tastes like fall in a mug. I need to double the suggested amount though

★★★★★

I’ve been ordering samples of multiple teas every few weeks to try new flavors, and this has been by far one of my favorites. It’s nice and juicy without being too tart and overpowering, especially with a little bit of raw sugar.

If you enjoy pomegranate, you will really like this tea. It is tart, fruity, and has a slight cinnamon taste in the background.

This is the first tea I tried from Adagio, from a friend who didn't particularly like this flavor. It was so good the second I got home I ordered more!! I'm in love with this floral-fruity blend!

I am in love with this tea! The longer it steeps the better as the ginger really shines through. It's a great tea to use if you want to make mulled wine or cider for chilly winter nights!

The flavour could have been a bit stronger but this was really good. It’s really bright and summery.

★★★★★

Warm, inviting, sweet. Good fruity blend. Can taste the cinnamon and pomegranates/apples the most. Better warm than cold, gets a little bitter and tart when cooled down, but still delicious. Juicy smell in the packet, very comparable to Passionfruit tango, if you like that one, you'll like this one.

If you are looking for a Christmas tea and are deciding between Pomegranate Grove and Yuletide Toddy, get this. It is cinnamon and all things nice. I recommend to drink this warm and all cozied up. It is probably in my top 5 teas.

This was passable but even after being steeped for 7 minutes at 212 it mostly just reminded me of watered down fruit juice.

★★★★★

I bought this tea to enjoy at night during the holiday season and I really love it. It's very flavorful and only a little bit goes a long way. It's a nice cozy tea for a winter night.

★★★★★

First smell threw me off and was worried after my first sip but it actually grew on me! My husband is not really a tea drinker but always tastes new teas with me and this one he said he might have once in a while!

★★★★★

Another immediate favorite, I could live off this tea, it s just that fantastic. It s a very mulled fruity wine type flavor without the alcohol. I ordered a lot because I just can t imagine going without it. It tasted delicious. Highly recommended.

★★★★★

This is the juiciest tea I've found at Adagio. Its delicious warm or iced. So good!
