The scent of this tea is a delightful mix of fruit and spice. The tea brews to the deep magenta expected from a blend containing hibiscus and rosehip. The taste is fruity with pie spices and a touch of tartness. The fruit was more apple than pomegranate but tasty, especially when mixed with the cinnamon and ginger spice.

I like the spicy tart flavor! Would be good for any season. I enjoyed after it grew cold al so o do it would bee Ed a good iced tea option

This is a nice tea, reminds me more of apple cider than anything pomegranate. I drank this hot but am wishing I tried it iced instead. The spice does a nice job of toning down the hibiscus astringency.

This tea was reminiscent of one of those spiced apple ciders you can buy at this time. Tastewise, the cinnamon and ginger don't overpower the tartness of the pomegranate. A great blend to have for the winter!

CommuniTEA packet tasting, this herbal was cinnamon flavored, festive, fruity tartness in a cup. Would be a good option to ice. Happy sipping!

This tea really hits with the fruit flavor. I really appreciate how strong they were able to get the flavor and how they got some of those supporting flavors to set the base and make it more like you'd hope pomegranate herbal tea to taste than pomegranate could do on it's own. It's a bit dry as a hot tea. Maybe as a cold tea with a bit of apple juice to cut that dryness it could be a perfect refreshment.

Very nice fruity brew for cold winter days! Not too spicy, not too tart. Just right!

I know last time in the 2020 advent it was very good, with a rounded tart pomegranate flavor and warm spices. I think someone put too much cinnamon in the 2021 batch...tastes like over-spiced cinnamon applesauce. Too sweet. I split my packet up and did half regular and half mixed with pu-erh and it worked out.
★★★★★
Sweet, juicy, apple and pomegranate with just enough spice to give this tea a warm and cozy feel but not enough to over power the more delicate fruit flavors.

Love this tea! The ruby-(red-pink) color is beautiful! The pomegrante and other flavors work really well together. Perfect herbal holiday blend.

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: Strong fragrance of cinnamon and subtle berry noticed from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steep for 5 mins at 190° F, I did initially get a childhood memory inducing hit of cinnamon, orange, and berries. When I take a sip, the cinnamon is only negligible on the finish with mainly sour hibiscus, raspberry leaves, and pomegranate flavor with a tiny hint of orange detected. This is a perfectly fine cup of tea and probably better if you are a hibiscus fan.

CommuniTEA Sample: This one had a very fruity smell in the packet, but when steeped, it was much milder. There were some nice fruity notes, but it was mostly tartness coming through when hot, with not a lot of cinnamon. Not bad, but not great.

I must not have had much hibiscus in my CommuniTEA packet, because my tea brewed up to a lovely light pink color. The cinnamon was the most dominant flavor in my cup. I will have to try a larger sample to get a better idea of this tea.

Meh. The little tea that wasn't. I get a very forward flavor of dry. But that's not even a flavor. It's as if the dry mouth feel is what hits you up front and then there's a tease of flavor around the edges that doesn't quite convince. Nope. Not sold on this tea at all.

Nice tansy, it doesn't taste too much like citric acid, like some fruity stuff can.

Deliciously tart and fruity cup. It got even better as it cooled.

My vote could be a 'loved it' but I only have two packets of sugar on hand. I believe the tea taste better with a lot more sugar in it. I may buy the sample to drink this the way I would want to drink it. Without the sugar, you will be in for disappointment.

12 Dec 2020 communiTEA review: All advertised ingredients, with the exception of the raspberry, were present in my communiTEA packet. Plenty of rose petals and apple pieces were noted.
When hot, rose aromas were moderate. Moderate cinnamon, apple, and ginger flavors were noted. Tart flavors from the hibiscus and rose hips were noted. Sugar was added in hopes of taming that.
When warm, strong rose petal flavors and aromas were forward. Apple was the only fruit flavor noted from beginning to end.
Overall, this one had an off-putting floral perfume and soapy mouthfeel overpowering all of the other players. I probably should have picked out the rose petals prior to steep. (8 mins 30 secs @ 212ºF, 3/8 tsp sugar)

I tried this tea in the advent calendar earlier this month, and I was pretty happy to see it again in the CommuniTEA box - it's absolutely delicious. Very festive, just the right amount of sweet and tart. A new addition to my wishlist.

I’m not a fan of pomegranate or apple teas. I usually find them too light/weak for my taste. Still, since I don’t hate them, I’m willing to give this one a try.
It smells amazing upon opening the package—like the Christmas holidays in a packet. I wouldn’t mind simmering this blend on my stove top to make my home smell nice and festive.
Everything appears to be present in my packet. Lots of apple and what I first thought were cranberries, but am thinking must be pomegranates. I can definitely smell the spices. I hope it tastes as good as it smells, because it really does smell amazing.
I steeped for the full 10 minutes in 12 oz of water, at the suggested temperature in the hopes of getting the strongest flavor possible. The color of the tea upon steeping was a lovely pinky-purply color. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. I think steeping it as I did and adding some tea sugar (2 tsp) was perfect to bring out all the flavors. I have put this on my wish list. It is a very light, fruity, tasty tea that is quite enjoyable.

The pomegranate is sweeter than expected. Reminiscent of sangria or mulling spices.
Updated review: It tastes more like apple and spice than pomegranate, and my second time trying it I didn’t like it as much as I thought I should.

I’m a member of Team Decaf and Team Tart, so an herbal blend like one was made for me. It delivers lovely fruit flavor and the accent of cinnamon is unexpected, but perfect. This is a sour sip, so if your taste buds don’t trend that way, you may not like this brew. I like it plain, but I can see honey adding a nice element here. This tea would make a perfect hot toddy. It gave me an apple cider vibe as well. The blend evokes autumn and Christmas in a cup for the no caffeine crowd. Happy Sipping!

The first time I brewed this tea, I steeped it for my regular 30 minutes. The ginger and cinnamon were present as deep notes, but the rose hips (and possibly the hibiscus) overpowered everything else. There were no pomegranate flavours to be tasted. I tried it again and this time steeped it at the approximate recommended time. It tastes anemic to me, although I can still taste the cinnamon and ginger. However, the rose hips still are overpowering everything, and there are no pomegranate flavours to be found. I think if the rose hips and maybe the hibiscus were removed and replaced with pomegranate pieces, this tea would be much, much better.
