This has a strong fruity flavor, which is a good change from the herbal teas that don't have too much taste and instead get by on aromatics. Good for sharp flavor when blended with a tea, and with honey for sore throats.

Cold brewed this overnight, and both the pineapple and coconut flavors come through loud and clear. I just find the hibiscus red color a bit... odd when drinking something that tastes like a pina colada.

I cold brewed this tea and it was great! Very fruity and refreshing for summer.

The pineapple and coconut flavors are strongly overwhelmed by tartness. I much prefer the white tropics which has a great pineapple coconut combo without the tartness. I think I’m particularly sensitive to rose hips and/or hibiscus so if you like pineapple and coconut and don’t mind the tartness, you’d probably like this tea.

This tea was ok. I don’t think it resembled pina colada.

This was a very refreshing fruity tisane with flavors of pineapple, coconut and a touch of apple. I prefer the fruit tisanes cold brewed and then sweetened with agave or honey. This was very good cold.

Feel like I’m on a tropical vacation! The coconut and sweet fruits are nicely balanced with the tart hibiscus. Steeped 5 mins at 212°, which is nicely warming my tastebuds and tummy, and now I’m going to go pour it over ice to see if it’s even better!

Another tea with the dreaded rose and hibiscus and another pleasant surprise! I cold brewed this tea and I’m finding it very delightful. I think the coconut definitely plays a part in my delight. I love almost anything with coconut. I’m so glad I had a chance to try this yummy tea!

i saw that it was deep red and figured it'd be just another 'red' tasting tea (hibiscus and not much else). But I love the distinct presence of coconut and pineapple in this - both smell and taste.

I always love the hibiscus mixed teas This was tropical with hints of pineapple and predominately coconut and hibiscus. Lovely red color. I think a little sweetener (honey). enhanced the flavour. .

I loved this one from my Communitea box. It kind of reminded me of Hawaiian Punch without the sugar. I think it would probably be delicious iced.

In the bag: An even mix of the advertised ingredients. Everything seems present.

On the nose (pre-steep): The scent is pretty spot on for its namesake cocktail. Just a hint of sugar in the background. I appreciate that the hibiscus doesn't overpower the other fruit.

On the nose (post-steep): Fruit is similar to pre-steep. Sugar has left and tagged in sour.

On the tongue (pre-sweetener): A sour medley of tropical fruits. Pineapple and hibiscus are prominent.

On the tongue (post-sweetener): Sweetener doesn't change much.

Opinion: A decent blend, but not in my wheelhouse. I don't like sour flavors, and this one belongs with Team Tart. To make this tasty, I would have to add so much sweetener that the tea becomes a syrup.

Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

June 17 2023 ~ I cold brewed Piña Colada this time, and its a nice, light refreshing, summer-y blend. I enjoy it in fandom blends, too...Great on its own or enhancing a blend.

A superb iced cup to enjoy on summer adventures or to transport you to visions of the Beach! I also enjoy the rose hips and hibiscus, within. ((Brewed for 10 mins at 212° and then iced.))

Update - CT 6/17/23 - this tea was so good once again. I'm having it while traveling and it just made my day. For that reason I have added a star to 5 (and ordered a sample). CT 7/10/22 Coconut and pineapple - a wonderful combination. This tea had a wonderful aroma when the package opened. I had 3.3 g so I brewed 13 oz for 7 minutes at 212.
The coconut was most prominent in my mixture - both when hot as well as when cooled a bit. Reminded my of the smoothie at the Hawaiian luau a few weeks ago! Enjoyed it a lot.

6/17/23 Today Pina Colada is part of the Communitea tasting. I cold brewed this tea last night to have it today. I think I like this tea brewed hot better. I had more flavor when brewed hot. I will still enjoy this tea this summer!

This tea is awesome. The flavors meld together to give it great flavor. I could sit back and enjoy this tea all summer long. I brewed it hot and them cooled it off for a great summer drink!

Any kind of coconut is just not my friend and pina colada is definitely a flavor I don’t like.

I finally understand the real purpose of hibiscus, it is there to give the tea color, not flavor. However, I could still taste it! Fortunately, the pineapple and coconut flavors were stronger than the hibiscus and it's sidekick rose hips. I'm just not a fruity drink fan, but this definitely gives off the tropical vibes and tasted better on ice.

Cold brewed this CommuniTea today and it was delicious. The coconut was forward but smooth & could taste some fruity flavors in the background. I didn’t add sweetener but that might help bring out the fruit. This would be good to keep on hand when I want a island drink without the alcohol & calories!

Mmmmmmmm! I love pineapple and coconut and this tea blends both with the tartness of rose hips and hibiscus...lovely aroma and taste!
7/10/2021 - Still love this fruity summery tea! I enjoy it hot or cold, and it's excellent when added to the steep of just about any black tea. Mmmm :) One of my favorites!
7/10/2022 - Still a favorite...hot or cold!
6/17/2023 - comin' around again! Still love this tea cold-brewed, or added to another tea for a sweet fruity addition to hot tea. Yummy either way!

This tea is so good, ive had it in mixes but never by itself, it is quite tart when hot but mellows as it cools, definitely prefer it cooled due to the tartness!

Very nice tea. Tartness took over the flavors but adding monkfruit sweetener calmed the tartness down and I could really taste the Pina colada. Easy to drink tea. could drink a whole quart of it iced.

While I consider this one pretty good, I wouldn't call it Pina Colada. More like Pina Colada Fruit Punch. Luckily I like hibiscus, because it's very noticeable in this blend. The coconut & pineapple are *there*, but mildly. I don't think I will be reordering this one unless it goes on sale.

a fruity, flavorful tea. Works well hot, iced, or with cream. Also works well with a shot of rum if you want to try and live up to the name.

CommuniTEA Sample: I really enjoy fruity herbal teas and this is no exception. Great taste of pineapple, coconut, and apples. Very dark red when steeped with a bit of tartness, but not too much. Overall a nice, enjoyable herbal for the evenings.

This non-caffeinated herbal tea is divine! It smells sooo good! If you’re having a bad day and looking for a tasty treat that won’t keep you up all night- I recommend this tea!

Love it!! I really taste the pineapple upfront with a coconut after taste. Really taste like pina colada to me! New evening favorite this summer!

I happen to love hibiscus in cold brewed iced teas, so this is one I will need to stock up on for summer. The added bonus is coconut, which makes this the perfect summer brew!

Fruity and fun, but just wasn't my cup of tea. Doesn't 'scream' tropical to me, the fruit flavor were a little lost on this one. I'll have to try it iced next time

Taste just like a virgin pina colada. Lol. So good. Mught even try to mix it with wine

Fruity, tropical and exactly what I'd expect from a pina colada tea. I love the subtle notes of coconut, and enjoy smelling the tea in the bag just as much as drinking it!

★★★★★

When first smelling this I thought that the pineapple and coconut would be overwhelming as a tea- I was then surprised with how pleasantly tart this was at first sip! It's a flavor combination I didn't imagine with a tea called Pina colada, but I'm loving every sip! I can't wait to try this one iced next.

This one is my favorite. It is smooth not strong. I really enjoy it. I recomennded..I will definetly order it again. I Love it!!!

★★★★☆

It's definitely tropical with clear citrus notes, but there are times when it's hard to taste what makes it distinct. But that doesn't stop it from being a fun, vacation-y tea.

★★★★★

Purchased as a gift for my mom. Was her favorite tea from the cocktail sampler, so I got her a bigger pouch!

★★★★☆

This is really good! The coconut is more of a soothing undertone to the tea's flavor in general, which I actually really liked! The hibiscus gave it a tart flavor I wasn't expecting, but I was still a big fan!

★★★★★

This one is so good! Nice strong flavor! Love to drink it at work

A delicious pineapple coconut tea with just the right amount of tartness from the hibiscus. I also enjoy this cold brewed.

This is a delicious herbal tea which tastes very similar to the drink it is named after. I enjoyed it warm with some sugar added.

This is a pretty inoffensive and good Pina Colada mix, though I do think it's a bit heavy on hibiscus. It imparts it with a bit of a floral/sour-y taste that does knock back the pineapple and coconut. It is still good however, and prefer it cold.

This one was a little too sweet for me. I like to drink my tea as is. not adding any cream/milk/sugar or honey. This tastes to me like it had sugar added
