This is good for iced tea, but only if you use a ton. I used 3 tsp/cup and steeped for about 10 min. It's good for another steep but I usually leave that one longer (15+ min or until I remember). Given how much 'tea' is needed for a good flavorful cup it is pretty expensive.

Today's communiTEA packet was pina colada with hibiscus, apple pieces, rose hips, coconut, pineapple pieces, and coconut and pineapple flavor. In the packet, to me it smelled like overly sweet candy. That mellowed when water was added, but instead there was a hint of plastic. Perhaps it would be better cold? Not my cup of tea.

I, personally, found it a little too much and a little to sweet

I knew from experience I didn’t enjoy this tea hot, but everyone advised me to try it iced. I’m so glad I listened and had the opportunity to try this again as a cold brew. I added a bit of lime, pineapple juice, and a bit of club soda to create a super yummy mocktail once I cold brewed the tea for 4 hours in the fridge.

When I opened my CommuniTEA packet, I was met with sweet, juicy aromas of pineapple. I steeped the tea for 5 minutes and it produced a deep magenta cup of tea. This tea has a nice pineapple flavor. The hibiscus adds the perfect amount of tartness. This is a delicious cup of tea!

Pina Colada has a nice coconut flavor. The pineapple fades a bit to the hibiscus which often overwhelms in fruity herbals like this one.

This tea would be lovely if it wasn't for the hibiscus. It smells lovely, the flavors should mesh very, very well, but that astringent hibiscus buried everything. Even the coconut flavor.

2024 update:Adagio's Pina Colada tisane offers an enjoyable tropical experience with its blend of fruit pieces and natural flavors of pineapple and coconut, complemented by rose hips, apple pieces, and hibiscus petals. The blend is coconut-heavy and pineapple-light, providing a rich coconut flavor that some may find delightful. However, a more pronounced pineapple presence could enhance the overall balance. The hibiscus is quite mild, and a bit more would likely add a beneficial tartness to the mix. Overall, this tisane is a pleasant and refreshing choice, though slight adjustments could elevate its flavor profile further. 2022 impression: I enjoy the fruit tisanes sometimes as an alternative to traditional tea, but Pina Colada is one of the best. The flavors of pineapple and coconut add a sweetness that is perfectly offset by the tangy hibiscus. Over ice, with a bit of stevia, and the summer heat is thwarted, just a bit!

The color is wonderful. The flavor is ok. It’s not bad, but there are better teas out there.

LOVE this, really good cold or hot. The smell is divine. I really taste the Pina Colada notes and tones in the tea.

The hibiscus throws off the pina colada theme. I do like hibiscus but it is an assertive flavor and color and doesn’t have anything to do with pina colada.
★★★★★
By far the best flavor of all I’ve tried it has a strong berry flavors and at the end a light pina colada taste. I will buy more, taste best cold to me but is ok warm. My way to brew is 1 tbs tea to 8oz water and 1/2 tbs sugar to every cup of water for sweetness.

really does taste like a puns colada, so it being pink is a little weird. great iced with flash chill method.

I am surprised that I do not like this tea, I thought I would but but alas I cannot shake the feeling as if I am drinking fragrant liquid hand soap. Unfortunately this just isn't for me. Perhaps I shall try blending it with some actual tea leaves and see if that helps.

This one is a goodie!!! Love the flavor of Pina colada. Very relaxing

With so many Adagio teas, the flavor just isn't very strong, especially the ones that include 'natural flavoring.' This is a solid option, the rosehips and hibiscus are definitely there but not very strong. With these milder teas, they usually shine iced (like Daydream did) so I will check back once it's cool. UPDATE: Brewing with actual boiling water helped, but the taste is too mild to drink hot. This is a great iced tea that I will enjoy in the sample size, but the 'coconut flavor' is a bit too overpowering. However, it is very flavorful so a nice option to keep in the fridge.

This has a great pona colada flavor. I didn't care much for it hot but this would make an excellent iced tea.

This tea is basically an island in a cup! WOW. It’s definitely more pineapple forward than coconut, but it’s spot on to a pina colada. Drink it cold <3

If you want a tea that tastes like a pina colada, look no further than this blend. Sometimes flavors in blends can get muddled or just feel very light on taste. Not so with this blend. Full bodied flavor, tastes like a virgin pina colada. No lie. Definitely got the coconut and pineapple forward flavors. No notes!

I thought this might taste too similar to either Kona Pineapple or Pomegranate Grove, but it is its own lovely combo. This has officially been added to my favourites:)

Pina Colada hot tea, who would have thought. This smooth, coconut, pineapple, fruity combination gives just the right soothing flavor of the tropics on a cold winters day.

Another great iced or cold brew tea. This one is yummy hot too but to me, it’s ideal cold. The little bit of coconut makes it creamy and tropical. I’m normally not a coconut person but this blend works well. Would probably be really good with a splash of coconut milk.

This is my daughter’s new favorite tea to take to school in her tumbler! Super fruity and bright, makes a delicious afternoon treat. Can’t wait to try it cold soon!

An amazing hibiscus tea blend. Great as a cold brew or as hot and then iced. Very fruity and enjoyable.

An explosion of pineapple aroma from the sample pouch. A hint of coconut on further inhalation. Long hot steep. Tangy pineapple and hibiscus tart. Coconut is barely there on the aftertaste. I think I'll add more coconut in the future and definitely try this cold. Delicious!

Love coconut and this does not disappoint. Add a little more pineapple juice and it takes it a step closer to perfection. My wife loves Pina Colada so when I make this I can get away with anything.

Love this blend. Just the right amount of sweet and tart/tangy. Cold brewed is a little bit lighter on flavor but you still get all the ingredients on the tongue. Hot or hot then cooled off is more intense and really wakes you up!
★★★★★
Very juicy and slightly tart. Very refreshing! You can smell the pineapple and coconut aroma wafting from the bag when you open it. Great to enjoy on it's own or mix a little in with some black tea for a custom cup. Would be good to have in the summer.

Excellent tea I add a touch of honey and serve it iced. Delicious and very enjoyable with a hint of coconut This is one of my favorite. I just ordered a bigger bag.

I usually brew this for 10 minutes but I don't fret if it goes longer, since my kids like to drink it over ice, so the stronger the better. It has a lovely pineapple-coconut flavor that I find much more true to what it's supposed to be than some of the other tropical fruit teas I've tried from Adagio--not perfumey or artificial at all, at least to me. My whole family is really enjoying it, and I'll likely order more now that I know we all like it.
This has become our favorite iced tea to drink in summer. I brew it by the quart (and I brew it strong, I use an extra scoop or two and let the tea sit in the water until it's room temperature) and we drink over ice or keep it cold in the fridge.
