★★★★☆

It tastes like ferro roche candy I learned the hard way this tea can be over sweetened very easily

★★★★★

Definitely an acquired taste. Took a few cups for me to start really enjoying it. In this hot summer I am loving it over ice with some stevia and cream. Great coffee replacement. Tastes like dessert!

★★☆☆☆

great coffee alternative. It tastes like a mocha if you add milk or (if you don't care about your health) hazelnut coffee creamer.

★★★★☆

Powerful and strong. An excellent pick-me-up. The hazelnut and chocolate work great with mate.

★★★★☆

Got this tea in the summer time, but may save it for when it gets cooler because it's not really my 'cup of tea' atm (da dun tsss!). I hope it's still good then.

★★★★☆

I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting with this tea, but, I wasn't as head-over-heals as I anticipated. That's not to say it's a bad drink, it's not. I'm just not sure I will be ordering Mocha Nut Mate again.

This is not a tea I drink - not a chocolate fan, but my teenage son who loves mocha coffee has been converted! He brews this in the morning before school for his 'to go cup' and loves it. This is another tea he plans to take to college in the fall.

★★★★★

Amazing! The smell is probably 100 times better than the actual flavor, so make sure you stick your nose in the bag first. Brewed strongly and flavored with some dark honey, this makes an excellent morning drink, especially combined with almond milk. It doesn't have the grassy, green flavor of the plain yerba mate, so if a bit of chocolate isn't your thing, go with the regular mate, another favorite of mine.

★★★★★

Just bought another bag tonight. With the slight sweetness, it is a good way to satisfy a sweet tooth in a healthy way.

★★★★★

I love this flavor! A great tea for the fall that brings a feel of warmth and coziness! The other reason why I like the mate is because it has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.

★★☆☆☆

not sure why, but the texture of this tea bothers me...and i can't really seem to enjoy the flavor of the tea itself.

★★★★☆

a great tea to get you going in the morning. It tastes more like coffee than a tea but I love this in blends.

★★★★★

One of my favorite drinks. I will be eternally grateful to Adagio for making this wonderful blend of cocao and yerba mate.

★★★★★

Picked this up at Adagio's birthday celebration because it smelled so wonderful in the jar. Mate has been wonderful for me in preventing my migraines so I drink it when I know I might be prone to one but so far I've only found one that I liked enough to be my go-to mate. I brewed this the same way I brew that one and it didn't turn out any worse for the wear. This is certainly nutty and toasty but I'm missing the chocolate notes. I don't mind the missing chocolate but I certainly wouldn't mind if it was there either.

This tea is yummy, chocolate or not.

Nice and relaxing, which is one of the things I like in a tea. I'd have liked for the mocha nut flavor to be stronger, but I still love it.

★★★☆☆

I was a little disappointing in this one... it just sounded so good. The smell was wonderful when I opened the package and I brewed it according to the directions... I sweetened it with a little sugar... however it just didn't have the flavor I was expecting. This was also my first 'mate' tea, maybe that could have been it. It is alright, very warm flavor... a hint of chocolate, but mild.

★★★★★

This was my first mate tea. Strange, not pleasant smell out of the bag, strange smell brewed, a bit of an odd (but not bad) initial taste, wonderful finish and aftertaste. I love this tea. The hazelnut and mocha aftertaste is wonderful.

★★★★☆

This tea wasn't quite what I expected. I like to brew my teas strong and I get a lot of earthy flavor without as much mocha flavor as I would have liked. I think I may steep is so long that the mocha gets overshadowed but I wouldn't want it lighter. I probably won't reorder this tea but it isn't a bad one. Give it a shot.

★★★★★

A nice dessert mate, which is great because you can really feel the caffeine pulsing through your veins with every sip. asdj.lkfasdf.lkjasd.lfkj

★★★☆☆

Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about mates. There is just something... odd tasting about it. It has the potential to be good. I bought it for the high caffiene content as well. Maybe it'll grow on me like a lot of other teas have, who knows. I'm not very fond of this tea at all, verging on disliking it.

★★★★★

Tasty, and not too strong. Make sure you do have a paper steeping bag, though, as it is very fine.

★★★★☆

I think my issue with this tea is mostly my fault (you need a really good infuser otherwise the mate escapes into your cup and gets all cloudy). For that reason, it was almost a little bitter but I really enjoyed the flavor. It defintely does have a Nutella hint to it with the hazlenut flavor.

★☆☆☆☆

I couldn't get through an entire cup. It tasted like drinking smoke.

A perfect combination of earth, nuts, and chocolate. Not one taste overpowering the other, all very subtle. This tea makes for a calming anytime tea. It is sure to brighten your day. A great natural 'energy drink' hot or cold

★★★★☆

Very strong tea! If you're not a big coffee drinker, but like something that's similar, I would suggest this tea.

★★☆☆☆

something about this one just doesn't sit right with my taste buds.

★★★★☆

I think I might have had the water too hot the first time I made this as it had a sort of burnt/ashy flavor. I'm definitely going to have to try again as the aroma of the tea is lovely!

★★★☆☆

Nothing special. This had a nice nutty taste, but I prefer plain old yerba mate.

★★★★★

This tea goes perfectly with a little hazelnut creamer. It perfectly replaces a cup of coffee in the morning.

★★★☆☆

I just don't know how I feel about this blend. I drink a fair amount of mates, and this one has an overwhelming taste of tobacco to it.

★★★★★

I wanted a tea that could replace my morning coffee and I found it! I like my tea and coffee a little on the strong side so I use just a little more than a tsp. I also add just a tiny bit of sugar for some sweetness.

★★★★☆

A very good tea, it's warm and nutty, a tea for cold days.

★★★★★

Another really different tea, but this one is really good. I want to blend it with other teas, but it has a really low brew time. Not sure how that will work.

★★★★★

Warm, chocolateyness with the rounded smoothness of hazelnut or perhaps chestnut flavor. I love to mix this with cinnamon, tiger eye, chestnut, chocolate chai, or just by itself.

★★☆☆☆

If you are looking for a coffee substitute and you are prepared for something on the weak side with an artificial aftertaste, this might be for you. However if you prefer real coffee and strong black tea, I would not recommend this. Personally mine will be going in the garden to feed the flowers.

★★★☆☆

Very strong but okay tea. I'm not sure if I would have it again.

★★★☆☆

The nutty flavors really come through in this. It smells and tastes similar go coffee, could be a good substitute. Not really to my taste, however.

★★★★☆

Subjectively, this stuff is a little weird. Objectively, it tastes exactly like anyone would expect it to, so I'm not sure why I think that. I enjoy it with a little cream added on slow mornings. My mornings stop being slow after that, though. This brew is two sided- like mellow, chocolatey rocket fuel.

★★★☆☆

The pieces are like ground coffee and hard to infuse with the tea pots that I have. I would probably switch to tea bags for this one.

★★★☆☆

If you like coffee, you will enjoy this tea. While I don't particularly like the taste, my husband enjoys it.

★★★☆☆

I didn't care for this tea at all, but my husband who is a coffee drinker loved it. It was very strong and sort of bitter even with sugar added. Just not for me, but as I said if you enjoy coffee you may enjoy this one.

★★★☆☆

The description sounded great, and I was really hoping to replace my two favorite morning tea***a mates with this flavor, however the scent was so unappealing and the flavor wasn't what I expected...very disappointed.

★★★★☆

This is a wonderful breakfast tea. It has a good balance of flavors.

★★★★★

I love everything chocolate, and this is a delicious one

★★★★★

This is different from anything else I have tried. Sweet and smooth, nice balance of flavors.

★★★★★

This is like a special treat. the energy to keep you focused while making you feel like your indulging in something naughty.

★★★★★

Such a good chocolate brew! It tastes best hot with a little cream and sugar!

★★☆☆☆

Not really my favorite - the nuttiness is way too strong and I can't really taste the chocolate in it.

★★★★★

Really great tea that replaces Teavana's Matevana before they got rid of the nuts. I like the chocolate and nutty flavor with the mate. Delicious.

★★★★☆

Not an everyday tea for me, but I enjoy the nuttiness and the change of pace. Slightly closer to coffee than tea, taste-wise.
