This is my go-to morning tea. It has a deep rich flavor with chocolate and nut undertones. I enjoy this with a little half and half and some sugar
Our Brazilian toasted mate with its mellow chicory notes enhanced with the indulgent flavors of chocolate and hazelnut. Contains caffeine.

This is my go-to morning tea. It has a deep rich flavor with chocolate and nut undertones. I enjoy this with a little half and half and some sugar
I have never liked mate teas too much. I got this particular one as a sample thinking that the nut would balance out the bitter that mate has. I am in love with this tea! I am going to order a pound! It is a great replacement for coffee. Just remember to not over steep mate or heat the water too hot - all of which makes the tea more bitter.
This was my first mate tea. A subtle chocolate smokey flavor. I would buy this again.
I am obsessed with this. From my first sniff, I knew I was going to love this tea. It has a wonderful toasty flavor with a hint of yerba mate at the end to remind you what it is. A great replacement for coffee as well! Will be reordering in a larger size.
it was a good mate for me, since I get the jitter really easily with caffeine
I love this tea. I love how it tastes like really fine black coffee. I love how it brews at a low enough temperature that I can immediately drink it without scalding my tongue, unlike black teas that do the same. It's also difficult to make this tea bitter, so that's a plus!
Sweet yummy chocolate with a strong kick of caffeine. This is a great tea! We even bought the ginormous bag.
Choolatey and nutty and really flavorful. Great with some almond or hemp milk for matè latte.
We made this via cold brew and it was so refreshing. I'm not a fan of mate tea, but this was so smooth and delicious.
It turns out that this tea, with its smoky flavor undertones, is just not my thing. I actually threw out the rest of the sample rather than finish it when I realized I was wincing as I went to sip a cup.
Can we say delicious? To me, it was like drinking the amazing scent of a hazelnut mocha latte, but without the bitterness of coffee in it at all. I put 1 tsp of raw sugar, which helped to draw out the chocolate notes. The caffeine in this certainly kept me moving through the whole day too! Try it out!
This tea is very rich, bold, and nutty. I am a huge chocolate and hazelnut fan and this mocha nut mate does NOT disappoint.
This twa smells amazing and is definitely worth a try. I will likely get it again.
I'm honestly still not sure how I feel about this one. This was my first mate tea. I don't know what I was expecting, but it did not taste the way it smelled in the bag at all. Once brewed it had almost none of the lovely mocha scent I was hoping for. It's not bad, but definitely not one of my favorites.
This tea is absolutely amazing! It has a heavenly scent, like a hazelnut mocha cappuccino - though it is very strong. Once you make a cup of it, the flavor becomes slightly muted which makes it quite enjoyable to drink, and it tastes more 'tea-like' than cappuccino. This is definitely one I'll be reordering when I get low.
Yummy! This is my favorite mate blend and my new pick-me up for the afternoons. It's great with milk or cream. I definitely don't need any extra sweetener.
This is such a dream for someone kicking a coffee habit!! This carries some caffeine and has a dreamy creamy flavor that makes an excellent latte. Absolutely wonderful.
This tea was just not my cup of tea. I believe this tea could be amazing to those who love mate. Sadly, I am not a huge fan of mate teas personally so I cannot write a just review based on my personal pallet. If you are a mate tea lover, then this is a tea you should try!
Really good tea for mid morning. Just enough flavor.
I've even trying all the mates available, and this is my favorite by far. Just delicious and warm with just a splash of milk. If you're a mate fan (and I know it's an acquired taste), I'd highly recommend.
At first, The mocha nut mate was kind of blan, just ok on the first cup. As I was on my second cup, then it hit me... this delicious necture of the mate gods took over my tastebuds with incredible roasted chocolate nut flavor. I used sugar and or milk for this tea to bring out the distinct flavors.
When you open the package, you smell the mocha right away. After its brewed, without sweetener, you can taste the mocha and hints of hazelnut. Excellent with a little milk.
WOW. This was love at first sniff! I am enthralled with the chocolatey flavor of this tea, and it is super energizing. It's a great replacement for my morning coffee.
Mocha nut mate is a savory tea with a hint of sweet. It is delicious at the recommended brew time, but if you blend it longer, some of the smokey flavors come out a bit more. I brew a pot of it and pour my first cup at the recommended time and then leave the leaves brewing for another few minutes before taking them out.
ok I am giving this a ok rating because my friends loved this tea but it was to bitter for me.
This was surprisingly good! I was skeptical of the chocolate chips, but the flavor that comes through is a toasty treat! Even without any sweetener, it's a fantastic brew that kept me feeling energized! The flavor is almost like a cocoa-y chai, subtler on the spices, hazelnutty.
I wasn't sure what I thought of this at first, but it's pleasant to return to and would make a great autumnal energy boost.
Very nutty flavor and the smell is fantastic. It's a very dark tea.
This has a pleasant, roasty flavor with subtle nutty notes. Unfortunately, you need 3 times the suggested amount to make a good cup, which is what brought my rating down.
This one tastes like how I used to brew my coffee it's nice I just don't like adding so much to my tea in order to enjoy it.
My favorite coffee replacement! And my favorite of the flavored mates.
This tea had a great flavor and I look forward to having more of it in the future.
This has become my morning drink of choice. Mild on the stomach but with a hefty caffeine boost. And I feel like I'm being totally indulgent with the mocha.
I loved the hazelnut flavor of this tea, and the smell of the leaves before being prepared is like inhaling the scent of a nutty chocolate cake. Although only a little of the chocolate flavor came through when brewed, I still really enjoyed the taste.
Phenomenal. I may be biased since I love mate teas, but i will say: the reviews calling this tea a 'substitute for coffee' are not hyperbole. Does it taste exactly like coffee? No. Does it satisfy my craving for a latte? Absolutely, unequivocally, 100 yes.
I was afraid the mocha taste would be too overpowering, but it wasn't!
nice nutty flavor.mocha comes through as an after taste for me. i like it but i dont love it.
Tasted much better than I thought it would. A nice coffee substitute.
This one was a little disappointing for me. I thought it would have a stronger mocha flavor, but it was a bit weak. It was ok, but I don't think it will be high on my list of tea to order.
Sort of coffee-like. I'm not a coffee fan, but I like this a lot. One of the better teas I've tasted.
I ordered this mocha nut mate tea due to my interest in trying mate - I'd recently read about all the traditions and customs surrounding mate and thought I'd like to at least try the flavor, in some sort of form. And this tea does not disappoint - it has a robust, earthy, warm, and yet very smooth flavor, with a nice little hint of mocha sweetness. My only dislike is how finely-grained the tea leaves are - my smallest infuser still lets plenty of leaves escape, but that's a minor quibble compared to how delectable this tea is.
The cacao flavor is understated, and the yerba gives a nice hit of energy without a caffeine crash to follow.
This one has a rich deep toasted/chocolatey taste to it. Gave me lots of energy! Great for the morning
This is a good tea! Except for the fact thAt it leaks out of the bag.
I like this tea. It has a deep rich flavor. I would definately order this tea again.
It's very light. With a dash of sweetener it tastes like a sugar cookie only with only a touch of decadence. I actually used filtered special filtered water. Perhaps I needed to let it steep longer but it tasted like a light bagged tea. The leaves of the mate are fine. I think it would be nice for a sweet afternoon pick me up, but it does not replace coffee for me in the morning as many have suggested. It's a wonderful tea, and the chocolate and nutty notes are superb but it may be a little light for me. I really like it though. It's a nice light spring tea.
I bought the mocha nut mate because it is an ingredient in one of my favorite fandom blends. The smell is amazing, and the taste is even better. This packs a good amount of caffeine so it is the perfect morning cup.
great - I really loved it. It had a great taste. Good for icing.
My mother once again took my cup of tea. I like mate's in place of coffee in the morning because of the caffeine. This chocolate hazel nutty flavor is exactly what both my mother and I enjoy so she smelled it, tasted it and walked off with my cup. I made another and I must say it's amazing so rich I like adding a bit of vanilla creamer to mine while my mom adds a little hazelnut to hers.
This was the first tea I have tried with chocolate- I found it worked well with the nut flavor. Everything is balanced well, so that one flavor does not overpower the whole brew.
