Nutty and smooth, this tea is a great one to drink for breakfast!
This was my first time trying this. Bought because all the chocolate teas were on sale. I am surprised I like it so much. I've even mixed it with some black teas and it was yummy, too.
The Mate is not as good as the Specialteas / Teavana blend it replaced. My wife is the one who drinks it, and she says it needs more mocha. If you really like the taste of mate, you might like this tea. But if you drink it for the caffeine but don't really like the pure taste of mate, this might not be your cup of tea.
I love the flavor of this tea, I missed Java Vana Mate from Teavana, this is compatible. I usually mix it with a black tea like Golden Monkey or plain roasted Yerba Mate (25 % black or Yerba and 75% Mocha Nut Mate). The only downside is the loose tea is too fine and runs through many if my tea strainers. I would prefer a large chunk tea so it doesn't get through the straight we and end up in my cup - nastiness at the end of the cup.
One of the best teas I ve ever had - the right amount of caffeine to keep me going and tastes delicious even without sweetener!
Great flavor.. I add Irish coffee or rum chatta to mine.. can make up to three cups with one brew..
I swear, it's like drinking a Nutella based tea. Absolutely delicious. Update: It's been 3 years since first buying this tea, and it's still the tea I drink every morning. I have lots of variety for when I want something new, but this one is my go to comfort tea!
The perfect tea for the coffee lover! My husband and I decided to quit coffee and for people who were coffee connoisseurs, this tea really satisfied our palate! I even make cold brew iced tea with this and it makes a great iced coffee substitute.

Delicious, smells like a nutty coffee, has enough chocolate to add depth but not too much to overpower the roasted mate flavor
When I use cream with this tea it seems to bring out the nutty flavoring and I like it more.

The scent while brewing was wonderful, but flavor-wise, it wasn t my favorite. I may try it with some sweetener next time.

Everything that draws you to try a tea called ‘Mocha Nut Mate’ is correct, and delicious. The right amount of flavor, of both mocha and nuttiness. To add, the smell of it brewing in my kitchen sent me floating through the air like a Disney film character after a pie in a window sill. Fantastic!
Many moons ago I wasn't fond of this but it's since become the blend that I restock most often. Great afternoon pick-me-up.
This is a really interesting tea, it really does have a light coffee flavour! Adagio s hazelnut flavouring does tend to come though quite strongly and the chocolate is somewhat subtle but overall a really nice tea.
The chicory overpowered this tea. I couldn't really taste the chocolate or hazelnut flavors, they were drowned or diluted out. It was ok in general, had to sweeten a bit with stevia to try to bring out the other flavors, but it really did not work. I likely won't buy this one again, but in general, the tea was OK.
Maybe I was just expecting too much for this cup of tea, but it didnt offer the chocolate flavors and richness I was hoping for, maybe I didnt make it properly?
This Mocha Nut Mate is not a favorite compared to the other mate teas.
I m not one to drink coffee flavored anything, but this tea changed my mind! It s a nice, smooth coffee flavor without the bitter after taste. Definitely worth checking out!

I have to say this is my favorite tea ever! Depending on the day I can have it cold or hot. I take mine with vanilla soy milk and a spoon of honey and it makes the perfect combination.

The tea bag is cute compared to other brands. Smells better that tastes.
This is my first experience with a Mate tea. It s a very light flavor, but good. Definitely not a dessert kind of tea, just a lightly flavored pick-me-up kind of tea. The combination of hazelnut and mocha accented with marigold flowers is really intriguing.
This is a toothsome blend. Feels less like a treat and more like a good afternoon tea. Sweetener really not needed.
This is a richer, sweeter blend that I've ordered twice now. Not the sort of thing you want every day or to wake you up, but it's great as a standalone dessert tea. I add a bit of sweetened condensed milk to it which goes amazing with the chocolate/nuttiness of the tea. This is definitely one I'll keep buying.
This is tasty and nutty, and I get a hint of mocha flavor, but I was expecting more of a coffee/chocolate flavor.
I apologize for not remembering minutes and temperature. Which, would have been helpful as one issue with it is the chocolate stayed as a kind of glob (but still good on its own). Whenever I would drink it I'd reflect on preferring a great coffee and just adding chocolate syrup to it.
This tea has a great rich flavor! Great earthy nutty flavor. One of my favorite teas!
This tea doesn't have a deep enough flavor for me. The mocha aspect is more subtle than I expected. It does have a nice aroma, though.
I purposely only ordered a sample size of this tea, because I already know that I don't like Yerba Mate tea. I was hoping this wouldn't taste too much like it and that I'd be able to replace my occasional cup of coffee with this tea. However, I found that I still had to put quite a bit of cream and sugar into this tea to really enjoy the flavor. It's also a little harder to brew because the tea bits are so tiny that they get stuck in the mesh of any steeping device!
I think this tea would be good if you already like Mate teas, as I really wanted to like it since it smells so good! But overall, I probably won't be purchasing this one again.
This right here is your coffee substitute if you’re trying to make the switch. This brews a fantastic cup of mate with bold and complex flavors including chocolate, hazelnut, and the earthiness of the toasted mate. My only regret is that I only ordered a sample. I’ll be back for more, Adagio!
This is interesting. I am not a tea expert and don't know much about the different kinds. The falvor on this is coffee like and nutty. Very good.
I am rather neutral for this tea. I wasn't a fave and I didn't dislike. I was hoping for a stronger chocolate flavor and being highly caffeinated it wasn't a good bedtime tea.
I was trying to find an alternative to coffee and I definitely found it! So good!!! I got a sample and wish I had gotten a bigger bag :-)

The low temperature at which this tea steeps was a little odd for me, but it's worth measuring the temperature. This tea is fantastic - earthy and chocolatey, and I adore it.
I enjoy this tea at night since it is decaf. It's light touch if mocha curves my cravings fir chocolate.
The package said 150 degrees but my lowest setting on my auto kettle was 175. It came out great. A very nice deeper mocha tea flavor. I had never had this tea before and loved it until I did some research and found too much of this tea leads to bad health affects (do your own research) so even though I enjoyed this tea and I ordered other Mate teas because of their high caffeine level...I probably wont re order them and will drink these sparingly. Good taste though!
I like this one a lot. Added agave syrup and milk and it tastes like a warm milkshake. The nut flavor isn t overwhelming.
When Teavana went out of business, I was looking for a tea that would replace my favorite tea, Javavana Mate. I tried Mocha Nut Mate and I am hooked! I love the nutty sweet flavor and the heavenly aroma. The caffeine kick makes it a perfect breakfast tea. This has now become my all-time FAVORITE tea. I will order this again and again.
I love love love this tea!! It’s extremely smooth, and the mouthfeel is velvety and rich. The tea is just slightly sweet without being cloying, and the caffeine kick is boosted by the chocolate in it. 10/10, will be buying more!
