Very nice mouthfeel, but not much intense nut/mocha flavor. It's subtle and pleasant.
Our Brazilian toasted mate with its mellow chicory notes enhanced with the indulgent flavors of chocolate and hazelnut. Contains caffeine.

Very nice mouthfeel, but not much intense nut/mocha flavor. It's subtle and pleasant.
Very nutty and very yummy. I like to make it with a little bit brown sugar and milk.
LOVE this tea. Perfect nut and chocolate flavor, good balance for me between tea and coffee. I drink it in the mornings when I need an extra boost, but don't want as much caffeine as coffee.
Good tea! I'm not a huge fan of mate tea but the mocha makes this one good. Would buy again for when I'm in the mood for a mate!
Nice round chocolate tase with a hint of nuttiness. This tea mixes very well I’m a latte
Add s little cream, and it is a perfect cuddle in a blanket drink
Its pretty good! It isn't sweet enough for me but not a bad flafor at all...
A great caffeinated tea to pair with the decaf hazelnut cin creme! Great flavor!
A great alternative to coffee (which I used to drink about 4-6 cups per day). Blissful combination of nut and cocoa and and beautiful balance between sweetness and that ‘bite’ coffe drinkers continue to crave.
Top 5 favorite teas. You need to make sure you steep correctly otherwise it does get bitter quick
I'd call this one comparable to the teavana version, and a good substitute now that they've gone under. Not as chocolatey, but for me that is a plus.
Good, I like the somewhat chocolately taste. A good alternative for those of us that aren't fans of coffee. Losses a star because steeping can be a bit of a challenge.
This was my first time trying a Mate. I love everything about it. Flavor is nutty and almost a hint like coffee. Great when you need a caffeine boost
I really like the flavor for a nice hot cup of tea that has a great flavor
This is my new favorite flavor and the price is better here than elsewhere.
Very good, although the mocha flavor could be a bit stronger.
Not my favorite or most memorable, but good all the same. Mate isn’t my favorite but I still enjoyed this tea.
This tea is awesome, especially with cream and sugar. I added almond milk and it was excellent.
Upon opening this tea, I loved the aroma, however the flavor was not palettable for me. I can’t pinpoint exactly what about it was distasteful, but I didn’t care for this tea, and I normally love ALL Mate teas.
So good. Toasty and warm. You will want to curl with with this tea.
I have been searching for a replacement for my beloved Teavana Matevana for years. I am grateful I have found Mocha Nut Mate - it's like going back in time and drinking my favorite tea again! This is a delicious alternative to morning coffee and is perfect with a touch of raw honey.
This is so good! I bought it because it was the only flavor I wanted to try in the coffee addict box, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it because I usually hate mate blends. Heavy on the hazelnut flavor. You have to use a fine mesh strainer with this one though, or you’ll have one messy cup of tea.
New addiction. I will be ordering a much bigger bag of this to have daily.
Stronger than the regular mate as expected. Smooth nutty flavor, and the chocolate takes a nice back seat. Keeps the same roasty mouthfeel as the regular mate.
If you brew it just right, it tastes just like coffee! It's a shame I don't like coffee, or I'd be very happy to discover that. But if you're into that, the roasted and slightly sweet flavor makes it a very good way to start your day.
This flavor is unique and delicious. I don’t drink sweet/nutty teas all the time. But this is a nice one to add to my collection
This tea is soooo good! The nutty flavor is so prominent and well-rounded and I think it tastes better as it cools. I can't wait to try this with the caramel black tea. Mmmmmm!
this was a delicious tea, I would definitely recommend.
This combined with Spiced Mate makes a darn good recreation of Teavana Mate Vana.
I love the flavor of this tea, but the best thing about it, is the type of caffeine in it. I m very sensitive to caffeine, and get shaky from coffee, black tea. This is a very calm stimulant.
Oh man; it's like desert for breakfast. Might be new favorite. Sweet, yet nutty and earthy and smoky
So far my favorite tea from the site. I personally don't taste the supposed mocha but I get a lot of the chocolate influence with just a much deeper, more rich mate taste. Exquisite.
My first mate tea I've tried and I like it! It makes me want to explore mate tea more.
Mild, earthy, chocolate flavor that is best with cream and honey. Good dessert tea.
I'm gobsmacked I haven't written a review for Mocha Nut Mate before now. I order this tea by the pound as it has become my All Time Favorite thing Adagio offers. I used to drink coffee all the time but had to give it up due to the high caffeine causing heart palpitations and other issues, such as bad, bad caffeine crashes. So I switched to tea and quit coffee cold turkey (rough first six months, lemme tell ya). Mocha Nut Mate may not be as rich as coffee, but once your taste buds haven't had coffee for ages they settle down and grow to appreciate a wider spectrum of tastes. At least mine did. Switching to tea and swearing off coffee was one of the best health and feeling-better-in-general decisions I made, and Mocha Nut Mate was my hero during that transition. Get a bad coffee craving? Mocha Nut Mate. It's nutty and smells decadent. A great pick-me-up to start your day. It's also my secret weapon in fruit smoothies. If you haven't brewed a big mug of this, put it in the fridge to chill, and then added it to a blender of frozen bananas, frozen strawberries, dark chocolate peanut butter, and sometimes ice cream - you don't know what you're missing. Go do it. Go live your life. Bonus: make sure you bought the fruit fresh. Clean and cut those strawberries and freeze them. The pre frozen bought in a bag kind won't do your Mocha Nut Mate and smoothie the justice is deserves. Go all out. Or as the hip kids these days say - treat yourself.
I gave up sugar (including Stevia) and flour 6 months ago. Every Yerba Mate I drank had Stevia in in, so I was delighted to find this Mocha Nut Mate which requires no sugar! I drink it all day long.
Oh this is scrumptious. I like to pair with chai but there's just such a decadent scent to it.
Toasty, coffee-like, and great with steamed milk. I suggest using two teaspoons instead of one per cup to enjoy the full flavor, and maybe a bit hotter water than suggested.
A great coffee alternative if I’m not feeling like a cup of coffee
I was a Teavana drinker, had to find something new when they closed. I drank javavana mate with caramel almond amaretti. I still have some left over and can no longer stand the thought of drinking it, this is absolutely my favorite now. I feel like the brewing temp is a bit low, I brew slightly higher but the flavor is great. Not overwhelming, just slightly nutty and slight mocha. Yum!
Not to my liking. It has an overwhelming hazelnut flavor.
I was a little hesitant to buy this but wanted to try a different blend. It's surprisingly good. I would actually give it 4.5 stars rather than 4...
Warm, nutty, and will probably beat any cup of cocoa you could make. On top of that, mate is loaded with caffiene, so it's perfect for all nighters or long days.
This one was just not for me, too much hazelnut and not enough chocolate. I don't think I'd buy it again, but I will finish my sample bag.
this is a lovely tea. Soft subtle nutty and mocha flavor.
I am trying to replace my morning cup of coffee in the am and this tea fits the bill. I added a tiny bit of milk and sugar it is so good. It’s nutty and slightly reminds me of a coffee. The only thing I am confused about is the brew temp. Package says 150 or 160 degrees but most other mate teas say to brew at just under boiling. I went with whatbit said on the package and heated it up in the microwave. I bet this would make an excellent latte.
This is my new favorite tea! The mix of flavors is amazing! Very satisfying.
It's like Nutella in a cup. Warm hazelnut notes with a sweet chocolate finish. A perfect way to start the day.
Taste was true to description. Rich and great with milk.
I LOVE this tea! I'm trying to drink coffee less and this tea completely satisfies my cravings for a hot, rich cup of something dark in the morning!
