mate has been a staple in our house for years. my husband loves it, and finds it energizing ... but i'd never reallly cared for it. This blend enables me to enjoy the energizing 'zng' of mate with nice flavor blend.
Not everyone loves maté like I do, but this blend was very nice. With a bit of milk and creamer it’s even tastier.
Yum, yum, yum. This one has been added to my 'gotta-have-it-in-the-house-all-the-time' teas. It really suits my tongue. Chocolate, nut, and mate make this, for me, a very nice evening (not night time cuz of the high caffeine) or after dinner drink.

I am trying to drink less coffee but need some boost of caffeine in the morning. This does the trick. And not hard on my stomach like coffee. I enjoy the nutty flavor very much.

It's not a bad tea, but I realize that I don't like Maté as much as I thought. The hazelnut and chocolate get overwhelmed by the maté flavor. Good for the morning when you need a caffeine boost. Update: I gave it a second chance as a latte with whole milk, and it actually works a lot better that way.

I'm new and still getting used to the taste of tea but this was very nice! It had a very pleasant hazelnut aftertaste and the chocolate taste came through more and more as I got to the bottom of my cup!

A high caffeine tea. It is a great mocha substitute. Delicious taste. Keeps me up without any of the caffeine jitters from coffee.

This reminds me of an amazing coffee without the bitterness. I did it iced because it’s summer. I’m a purest who doesn’t usually like cream in her tea but this one would be good I think.
This has such a fantastic flavor of nuttiness and slight taste of chocolate. It definitely doesn't need any sweetners, and is very smooth on the palate. If you're not a huge fan of Mate, but don't want to give up yet - give this one a try, you won't be disappointed!
Nice morning “coffee” alternative. I like chocolate and the flavors of this were enhanced with cream and sugar.
We were suprised by this tea. Tried a plain mate first and did not much care for it. This blend is much better with a great flavor. I could definitely drink this instead of coffee if I needed to.
I bought this to mix with honeybush banana nut. It's basically like a latte in the morning with the sweeter honeybush and highly caffeinated mate. It's amazing with a bit of nut milk! (I only brew in boiling water when I mix with the honeybush...otherwise i use 150° water.)
this tea tasted good, but it was not strong enough. I mixed it with black tea the second time I drank it, and it was delicious.
The perfect coffee substitute. Plenty of caffeine, a nice dark taste, but doesn t irritate the tummy like coffee might. We add a little bit of caramel to our cup before hand!
The tea was good. Not one flavor stood out over another. Have not tried with milk yet, but there is no bitterness when drinking plain.

Mocha Nut Mate falls under my treat tea list, one that I don’t drink everyday but lovely when you want to treat yourself. Nutty and chocolaty without going overboard or tasting artificial. As with most of the chocolate or cocoa nib containing teas it is fullest if you steep for 5-6 mins and, if you’ve bagged it, give the bag a good squeeze before removing. I do half n half with MNM and butterscotch, plus foamed milk. Nice!
This one tasted more bitter than I would have expected. I'll continue using the sample, but might stick with the regular Yerba Mate in the future.
Doesn't taste as delicious as it smells, but nice to mix with coffee.

This tea is so warm and comforting. I added some raw sugar and milk to mine and it was like sipping a warm sweet roll (in the best possible way!) Very nutty, baked oat like taste.
This is definitely a favorite of mine from the Mate line. It does give a nutty latte type flavor, but has a great complexity. You cannot oversteep timewise, but I would stick to the temperature as going to high kills some of the mate flavor.

Where has this tea been all my life, and why did I only buy a sample? This tea is perfect for when I m feeling more like I want coffee, or a strong cup to make a mixed drink.

Really great, but not my cup of tea. I bought because it was recommended to me as a good coffee replacer, but I didn't dig the taste. It's well done, I just think it was too strong of a tea for me.
Nice darker toasty nut flavor. Tried it once as recommended with a little milk and it was just as tasty, if not more!

Great cup of tea. I take this tea with cream and honey. Occasionally combine with pu-erh hazelberry to mix things up.

Very light mocha nut flavor but extremely pleasant. The cool brew temp was a bit surprising. If it is high caffeine I certainly didnt notice because I drank a cup around 9pm and went to bed around 12:30 without issue (and I typically cant have coffee past 6pm)
