Throw this in with any herbal teas to get a lighter lemony taste. If you throw it in with your herbal, it brews the same (5m at 212). Honestly, you can just drink this on its own and it's great.
Native of Southeast Asia, with delicate Meyer lemon flavor, a hint of sweet ginger and uplifting floral aroma.

Honestly a great quality Lemongrass. We use this in hot and iced teas, as well as in culinary blends and seasonings. Perfect and very affordable. Adagio is the best!
This is the tea I reach for when I don’t want anything intense.
It smells like fresh lemon peel — bright but soft. The taste is light, smooth, and clean. Just gentle and refreshing.
I especially like it after a salty meal or on travel days when I feel a little puffy. Lemongrass naturally supports digestion and has a mild diuretic effect — nothing extreme, just supportive. It helps take the edge off bloating without feeling strong like peppermint.
It calms without making me sleepy.
I love steeping lemongrass alone, but it also pairs really well with a handful of spices - cloves, star anise, ginger, and cinnamon chips are my preferred options.
Star rating is arbitrary, as I bought it to use as an ingredient to try to recreate my own Chili Lime Green, per your bot's recommendation. Hope it works; I love that tea! Please bring it back!
On its own it's fairly unremarkable. Has a faint lemony but almost fruit loops flavor. I mixed the rest of the bag into my citrus mint green tea and really enjoyed it but would not drink it again by itself.
oops! my CommuniTEA packet was completely empty... I will update when I actually get my lemongrass
This tea brewed up to a light color with a light scent of lemons. The tea tasted like a light, sweet lemon.
This tea tastes well exactly like you would expect with its single ingredient. Usually lemongrass brings that almost tangy sour note to teas or in my case soups along with just a hint of ginger adjacent spice flavor. This one is great on its own even if it is a little 'one note' and simple, but it really lends a hand in blends as a unique flavor addition. Drinking this made me crave some Thai soups as it is a fav ingredient on some of my top choices. Any way I gave it the fifth star for doing something simple, but doing it well. 212° 20 min.
If you can believe it, this is a very lemony tea that embodies the fruity side of lemons. Smells like lemon but has a smooth aftertaste and is not sour.
The instant lemon when the pouch opened was so refreshing. It was my early morning insomnia tea and was phenomenal absolutely relaxing
A nice cup of mellow yellow. The light lemon profile is working well on my allergies right now. Even though I prefer this in fruity blends, it tastes pretty good on its own. I would keep this handy for a pleasant herbal option.
5 min @ 212 F, second infusion for 10 min @ 212 F. I don't think that this shines when brewed on its own, but even when it was, it was warm and refreshing. The Meyer lemon flavor is very present, with some slight floral notes. I bought this with the intention of using it for cooking and in blends, but I could see myself drinking a cup of this iced. I liked my second infusion better, I think that I would recommend 10 minutes as opposed to five.
I have visited Thailand many times and one thing I loved was fresh lemongrass. This is the closest I can get to it and it's great for cold and flu season.
I absolutely love this flavor. I haven't met a flavor I haven't liked. Some I definitely prefer more than others!
I love anything lemongrass, so this for me did not disappoint!!
I really enjoyed this. It's good hot and iced. Very light and naturally sweet. It's what you want for lemongrass
Very nice tea. I love it on its own and I add it to other teas sometimes.
Good quality, good to enjoy on its own or add to spearmint and other teas you might like.
Great quality and price. Goes well with chamomile and peppermint/spearmint. I have been reordering multiple times with the same quality.
I love this tea. It has the sweetness of lemons but without most of the sour taste associated with them. I like adding it to other herbs like butterfly pea flower or lavender to make an iced tea.
Beautiful, bright & refreshing. Delicious on its own and a happy addition to other teas as well.
I use these for custom tea blends. They work very well and have a wonderful light lemon flavor into the tea! Great value!
Not only do I love the aroma therapy of lemongrass, but it tastes just as good as it smells! It's a great element to add into almost any tea, honestly!
Bought this to add to personal blends I was making for my mom. Beautiful, smells great dry, and steeped.
I use it to add to some teas, quality looks nice and teas taste perfectly fine. I will keep using this to tweak some teas to my liking!
I use this in cooking as well as added to some of my teas...very nice flavor boost to many teas that I now enjoy even more.
Love this one. I do like a lot of lemon teas and (I like to combine lemon teas with other teas) but this lemonGRASS adds a new dimension to lemon. This one has a flavor that pops out of the cup. It is strong lemon flavor (much more than any other regular lemon tea) but not overwhelming. Further it is great for colds...respiratory issues...really helps pleasantly decongest one.
I love lemongrass teas- now I add it to any tea I want! Such a great lemongrass flavor and delightful aroma.
Wonderful lemongrass that is fresh and very aromatic. I add it to almost any green or herbal tea. You need only little bit because it is strong in flavor and aroma.
It's lemongrass, not much else to it. Mellow lemon, with a slight herbaceous flavor. I think it works best in combination with other teas and it is very versatile.
I’ve had lemongrass in food and always thought it was a strong flavor, so I was feeling cautious about drinking it brewed straight- but it was surprisingly subtle and sweet. I don’t know much about the difference between dried vs fresh lemongrass, so I’m guessing the mellow flavor has to do with the drying process. A very nice cup, would go for it easily any time of day or night.

I love lemongrass! Usually as an accent flavor but on its own its a great Iced Tea. Caffeine free herbal great for bed time too. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA February Box.
Was a great cup. It was bright and crisp with whispers of lemon.
Who would have known that just plain old lemongrass would brew such a delicious cup of tea? Adagio did! Highly recommend!
CommuniTEA Sample: I'm not usually a fan of lemongrass herbal teas, but this one is very good. It tastes much more like fresh lemons and less like lemon pledge like many others.
I just don’t like lemon flavored teas I guess. I keep hoping that will change but not yet.
This is really nice. A nice lemon flavor that isnt too overpowering. It tastes like Trix cereal smells.
It would not be fair to rate lemongrass based on drinking it alone. Lemongrass, to me, is more additive than tea so that is how I regard it in review. This brings a warm lemony bit of sunshine to other tisanes and teas. Although I haven’t tried doing this myself, it’s likely to add a sweet herbal lemon flavor to a marinade for savory dishes as well.
Warm and comforting, this lemongrass tea is flavorful and enjoyable.
I absolutely love lemongrass. It is Very refreshing. This tea did not disappoint. In Lebanon where we make a lot of fresh lemongrass, we enjoy with a little rosemary …it’s a wonderful marriage. Delicious with or without sweetener. My son added honey for me. I needed this tea today😊
I had someone else try this after they bought one in a box. This was a hit . The other barley had any flavor
Lemon grass will refresh you with its zesty and invigorating flavor. The aroma is citrusy and fresh, inviting you to take a sip. The cup is smooth and light, with a lemony flavor and a hint of sweet ginger. The finish is clean and crisp, with a touch of floral essence.
Lackluster. I wanted to like this but it was just blah
I have a huge bag of this and love to steep it as is or add it to my earl greys, I'm gonna explore other ways to use this.
Unfortunately this only kind of smells like lemons. Also I'm getting more grass flavor than lemon in the infusion.
Unfortunately this lemongrass is both too dry and too finely cut to add much flavor to the average infusion.
Great mix, relaxing especially when mixed with chamomile
Part of my evening blend tea. A little honey makes it perfect.
