I like cherries, a lot, I even like some cherry candies, I do not like cherry flavoring that tastes and smells like cough syrup though. I am also not the biggest fan of hibiscus but the other ingredients mostly drown it out, I found a touch of honey gets rid of the tartness altogether and makes it fairly palatable.

★★★☆☆

Definitely cherry. Flavored medicine/cough drops have ruined me preventing this tea to really be enjoyed.

I am a cherry fanatic, but am usually let down by cherry teas - they usually come out very medicinal and rosy. This is the exact opposite of that - I have found the cherry tea of my dreams! The leaves smelled medicinal, but I cold brewed for 12 hours and there was no medicinal taste whatsoever. Subtle, tart hibiscus and rose hip flavors come through first, priming the palette for bright, playful cherry. This blend is sweet on its own, but for the second half of my cup I added a splash of lemonade for a fantastic summer treat.

I was so happily surprised by this tea, I could rant and rave about it all day. This blend feels like popsicles and sunscreen during adult swim. I highly recommend cold brewing - I suspect a traditional brew would be much more tart and even medicinal.

CommuniTEA portion: Cold brewed this overnight as I knew I was up against hibiscus and rosehips and cherry. None of which I am particularly fond of. It actually came out better than expected. Not something that I would truly want an entire pitcher of because of the tartness but a nice change of pace and taste with one cold cup.

This tea was ok. To me it is reminiscent of an unsweetened, warm kool aid. Iced it still has the under sweetened kook aid vibe.

On a positive note, I will say that most cherry flavors to me are a bit medicinal in taste, and this particular cherry lacks that cough syrup flavor I was expecting. So if you are a fan of fruity herbal teas, this might definitely be for you. It’s just not for me.

My tea seemed a little weak while it was hot, but grew increasingly more flavorful as it cooled. It’s probably best chilled or cold brewed.

This tea is ok - not great and not bad. I didn't get much cherry flavor and my tea was a very pale pink (like a rose wine). My CommuniTEA packet might not have had a good mixture of the ingredients.

Updated 7/2/22 - This CommuniTEA packet had a better mixture of ingredients than last year's. Today's tea brewed up to a beautiful ruby color and there was more cherry flavor to it. There is still a medicinal smell to it, like a cough drop. It is drinkable, but I am still not a fan.

Today's CommuniTEA is Dewy Cherry (7-2-22). Upon opening my packet, I noticed a lot of apple pieces and what I believe were dried Cherry pieces. I added some extra rose hips and extra hibiscus as well as some sourwood honey for extra enjoyment. I had intended to make this iced; however, it accidentally came out warm, my mistake. Despite this, it was absolutely delicious! The cherry flavors were most prominent and quite tart, but easily soothed by the honey. It also had some subtle floral notes which were quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tea!

The smell in the bag is nice and the color of the tea is gorgeous, but the flavor is very tart and overpowering. I agree with other reviews that it’s more of a cough syrup flavor than anything else and not at all like real cherry.

I liked it well enough, but this probably isn't a flavor I would seek out on my own. It's refreshing and tart in the summer weather, but people have a point about the slight medicinal flavor.

So very cherry! This tea is sweet, tart, juicy and dry all in the same sip. Added a little sugar gives it an almost cherry candy flavor.

Dewy 🍒 Cherry blend is spot on for a cherry lover. I brewed it hot then let it infuse until it cooled down, poured over ice and added a little sweetener. The result was a well rounded, slightly tart, sweet cherry in a cup! I think the Dewy Cherry blend hits It outta the park! An excellent summer beverage and dessert tea! I have already ordered more!

A lot of cherry teas have a tendency to be very artificial tasting but this one was pretty good! The cherry were tart and fruity, it made for a sweet night time tea.

cold brewed this tea is very tart and bright! the cherry flavor is a tad on the artificial side and tastes like a maraschino cherry to me. it’s very hibiscus forward as well. i mixed it with a bit of cranberry juice for a refreshingly tart cup

This is an epic iced tisane. I had one of those moments where at the first sip my eyes got big, I got a huge grin on my face, and I said, 'Ooooooooh!' My partner, who is much more stoic than I am, wanted to try it based on my reaction. But his version of that same LOVE-LOVE-LOVE reaction looks like his eyebrows going real high and coming together. And his eyebrows did that thing.

So it's one thing for me, a tea enthusiast, to love this tisane. But when my partner, who is more of a coffee person and is much pickier about teas and tisane, has the same reaction, that should say something.

I have been searching for a tea I like. I think I may have found it. I love this tea, I steep it for 10 min and then add some sweetner. Pour it over ice and enjoy

Lovely tea for a late night desert. Does have a sour tang to it if you let it steep for longer than recommended. But otherwise a sweet treat.

It's got a cherry taste, but a little light. I do enjoy it, but keep wishing for more of a cherry kick to it.

Super acidic and the flavor is a bit overdone. Definitely prefer the berry compote to this one.

A tart but enjoyable brew. Pairs well with honey if you want to sweeten it up a little. It's even tasty when iced.

I really like cherries. This tea does have a cherry taste to it but there is an underlying taste that just doesn't quite work. It's not but I think it could be better.

★★★★☆

Kind of a cough syrup type of cherry, I really like to mix this one with other teas though. Add it to 40 winks for a more consistent cherry flavor

★★★★★

this one grew on me, i now drink it almost daily in the afternoon or early evening

Refreshing, bright flavor that’s great for spring! I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this - cherry teas tend to be hit-or-miss for me, but I’m glad I tried it. It isn’t too tart and tastes almost more like juice when iced with a bit of honey.

Tart and lovely! I usually brew cold in the fridge and works well as a juice sub or mocktail mixer.

Great by itself or paired w/ your favorite green or white tea

The smell of this tea is downright amazing, and it honestly looks like a cup of Kool-Aid once it's brewed. The taste can be a bit overwhelming, though, especially if you're not usually the kind of person who enjoys fruit teas (I am not). That said, I bet this makes a killer iced tea for the summertime.

★★★★☆

Hmm Dewy Cherry. I've always been curious about this tea so I finally tried it. Cherry lollipop scent? Check. Tart apple-cherry hibiscus flavor? Check! Really confuses your taste buds but it's good and interesting. Definitely not medicinal. With more sweetener it transforms into liquified cherry candy. This must be the new and improved version because the cherry taste was intense and lingered a while after I had a cup leading me too feel nauseous. This tea doesn't really have a mood, could be something you try once just for fun? 3.5 stars

Surprising and tart cherry prominence - we buy it by the pound and enjoy it strong, hot or iced.

I love drinking this tea as a bedtime ritual. Cherries are high in melatonin, which help you sleep. Idk if the tea has enough cherry to really influence melatonin levels, but it does help me relax and get to sleep.

★★★★☆

This is a good tea. It's pretty much what it says on the tin.

★★★★☆

Good. I feel like it is missing a flavor component to make it amazing. @adagioteas

★★★☆☆

I wish I liked this more! I loved the description, but the flavor is unbalanced to me (kind of sharp) and yet too weak at the same time. I think it needs a little more of something to balance out the fruit.

★★★★★

One of the most delightful fruit teas. I add just a little honey and enjoy my dessert.

★★★★★

its cherry flavored herbal tea, I cold brewed it overnight for some great iced tea.

★★★★★

You're instantly hit with that sweet, artificial cherry flavor that carries over once brewed. I was concerned there would be a tartness from the hibiscus and there was not. It is definitely more reminiscent of a candy or Luden's cough drop than actual cherry, so ymmv.
