This tasted so strongly of cherry I was thrilled. The hibiscus was tart so I added some sweetener.
Cherry pie, anyone? This delicious blend is an easy stand-in for dessert any day. Cheeky sweet and tart.

Dewy Cherry
Recommended Steep 212°F for 5-10 minutes. I steeped at the recommended temperature for 8 minutes in approximately 11 oz of water with 1.5 tsp of Adagio tea/rock sugar.
I have to be honest, I was a little concerned about this blend. Cherry teas are not really my favorite, unless they are in blends. The tend, in my mind, to taste medicinal.
Upon opening the CommuniTEA packet I became aware of a very strong, sweet, rather artificial cherry aroma, reminiscent of Sucrets throat lozenges, not a very promising start. I don’t mind Sucrets when I have a sore throat, but in my tea??? I’ll try to keep an open mind.
First hot sip, was strongly sweetly cherry with some tart notes, most likely from the hibiscus. As the blend cools, this turns out to be its salvation. I enjoy a tart tea, and hibiscus blends in particular. As this tea cools in settles nicely into a pleasantly tart tea with sweet cherry to balance (along with the rock sugar.) I don’t really taste any apple flavor, but it is probably fairly well overpowered by the hibiscus and cherry. I have to admit to being surprised as to how much I like this tea. It’s one of those that depends on my mood, but overall a tasty blend. I think cherry and hibiscus lovers will really like this tea. Hmm...I wonder how this would taste with a bit of creamer or almond milk?
All in all, I am enjoying this—with a slice of sharp, non-dairy cheddar cheese. They pair together very well. I could potentially purchase a sample in the future. 4 stars from me.
Very tart, kinda medicinal, but somehow it's like good kool aid. I coldbrewed and it's oddly refreshing.
A lovely mix of tartness with sweet. I like how the hibiscus and rosehip flavors mingle with the fruitiness. The cherry flavor is not overpowering or medicinal. Takes a little longer to brew, but amazing! Tastes great iced as well as hot.
2/12/2023 - A staple in my tea stash. I love brewing this tea as an add in with my fav plain black teas or oolongs both cold-brewed and hot. And it's not bad by itself either. Love it! But, be aware, this herbal is very hibiscus and rosehips forward. Tea lovers who don't care for hibiscus, rosehips, tart herbals are probably not going to care for this tea or need to add to other teas, brew short & at a lower temp to keep the hibiscus/rosehips under control. I love both...so the more tart, the better. It's especially awesome for a strong shot of vitamin C when I feel a cold coming on.
UPDATED from 7/2/22: This is a very cherry tea from aroma to color. It is such a beautiful, bright cherry red after steeping. The flavor is TART - but it is a fun tang. Adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) allows this to become a sweet/tart candy tasting tea. Careful : too much sweetener and the tea will become cloying. This is fun to drink hot, and great when it cools. It makes a great tea for tea parties as it is beautiful and compliments sweets well. Love the zing on the finish. Love that it is caffeine free so I can drink it all day long! (10 mins @ 212ºF + sweetener).

I’m always a fan of cherry teas! This one was a bit different from other cherry tea ones I’ve had it was lighter in a pleasant way.
This is my Mom's favorite tea and she is verrrrry picky. She said this one is amazing. She said you definitely can taste the cherry in it.
Another one of my favorites. You can definitely taste the cherry in this tea. I love the color of it. It’s like drinking a cherry pie.
I absolutely love this one. I have it on my faves list. It has a beautiful fruit flavor, but doesn't come off artificial. This blends well with other teas, bur is wonderful alone as well.
I usually love cherries and was excited to try this cherry herbal but unfortunately it tastes medicinal in a really bad way like robitussin to me I am glad I started with a sample size.
This one is SWEET! I do like hibiscus and like-teas quite a bit, but I will say this one really speaks true to its name. It's like eating a true cherry pie.
I cannot get enough of this tea. It smells like the red starburst. Initially, it was a little bit too tart, but once I added some sugar to help soften it, that made all the difference. The tea mellows out beautifully with time, becoming less tart and more fruit-sweet. It's the cup of tea that keeps giving, continuing to improve with more and more time. I LOVE it. It will definitely become a staple tea for me.
Update 1 year later: As promised, this tea is indeed a staple for me. I still absolutely love it, and drink this all the time. Wonderful both hot or cold, a definite favorite!
One of my new faves. It is wonderful alone, hot or iced or mixed with a lemon strong tea for a fun summer tea. LOOOOVE this new find.
Love this tea for a change of pace. Great as a dessert tea.
This is a sweet tea, very good when you want a sweet treat but not a bunch of calories. I highly recommend it for dieters.
Has a great cherry flavor, but if brewed too hot has a slight synthetic cherry aftertaste. Brewed hot and then poured over ice makes a great iced tea.
The flavor is fruity and very much tastes like cherry. The smell is why I gave it 3 stars. The smell reminded me of robitussin.
This tea is delicious! It's so juicy & tangy from the fruit, rose hips and hibiscus. In the summer I will try the recommendation of making lemonade with it. I like to drink it when I want something a little different from my usual spiced & standards teas. I always steep for the full 10 mins to get maximum flavor, and add a little sugar. It's also great once it cools down! Next I'll try iced.
I agree with the other review saying it tastes like hot koolaid. I added sweetness, and it got worse. Brewed 100° at 3 minutes.
This one fell flat and disappointed me. Was expecting more cherry punch to come through
Sour Cherry, very sour cherry. But not medicinal tasting. Solid caffeine free choice, if you like cherry.
I wasn't sure what to expect with 'Dewy', but this blend delivers exactly the right sweet / tart / delicious and juicy punch I was hoping to get. This is very sour cherry forward, but it also has amazing bloom of other fruit that gave it a more complex body. This is going on my favorites list.
I love cherries and I need to re-order it to see how much I really like it and review it once again.
I love this tea iced only (I have no interest in having it hot. It's refreshing on its own, or mixed with a berry or water melon tea. I also want to add that I do not like fruit teas that are too strong. I favor lighter.
If you're a fan of the cherry flavoring used by Adagio in other blends, you will probably enjoy this one. Unfortunately, I don't care for this flavoring; it does not ring true as cherry to me. It has a cold medicine, artificial cherry vibe.
I find the cherry flavoring on this one to be a bit off, almost perfumey. Hot steeped it was a bit better than cold steeped, but I still like other red/hibiscus blends better.
Iced, this tea has a kind of sickly, fake cherry taste. Hot, it is much better.
This was not the tea for me. The smell is cloyingly sweet and reminded me of a cough syrup. The taste was softer, but I just really struggled with the scent.
I really enjoy this tea hot or cold. Intense flavor.
It smells and tastes a little like cherry flavored cough drops or childrens liquid medicine without the chemical medicine taste. Sweet and refreshing but a little to artificial tasting.
I love this tea so much! I only ever drink it iced and between my husband and I, we go through about a pitcher per day. It helps to keep us hydrated during Arizona summers.
great flavor. This is the only one of about 14 teas I have tried so far that I have attempted to drink iced, it worked out rather well.
Excellent tea for either hot or cold days. Full of fruit flavors and tangy goodness.
Love this tea warm or iced or mixed with other teas. It is VERY flavorful and another of their herbal tea blends that works for kids and adults alike.
I really wanted to give this the full 5 stars -- I had a sample previously that I would rate such. I'm not sure if Adagio changed the ratio of ingredients or if my sample was just skewed in a way that I happened to like. I enjoy this cold brewed over ice. A bit tart, and somehow tastes a bit more like banana than cherry.
This is my absolute favorite herbal tea. I love the cherry fragrance, the color, and the tartness.
Great flavor! agree with other reviews, it's a bit tart, but in a way I love. I sweetened with some honey and it was delicious
Today's CommuniTea packet was dewy cherry with rose hips, hibiscus, apple pieces, wild cherry flavor and cherries. It smelled more like cherries, while hibiscus seemed the primary flavor. It was a refreshing cold brew, though a bit tart, and a really pretty color. Cold brewed in 12 ounces of water for about 10 hours.
I love cherries so I had high hopes for this one. My sample was a good size - 3.95 g of tea, and I had all ingredients present. I brewed for 7 minutes at 212.
This would not substitute as a dessert for me - the cherry flavor was weak at best - even with a large cherry present. It would not be on my list of must buys.
This tea is a nice combo of sweet and tart. I prefer it cold brewed without sweetener.
Update to the the Update: I tried cold steeping this in lemonade. It was amazing and is now the only way I want this tea.

Update: I gave this tea four stars this morning. I added the fifth after trying my second steep cold brewed. The review below is for hot. It is amazing cold.
Original review: This tea has potential to be amazing, and I wish I had a larger sample size to play around with it. It smelled like a strawberry starburst when I opened the packet, and I was really hoping for a sweet cherry taste. I steeped for 5 minutes and wish I’d cut that down to 3-4. At 5, the hibiscus really starts taking hold and getting really tart. A slightly heavier hand with sweetener might have helped too, but I didn’t want to go overboard! Cold steeping my second steep and looking forward to seeing what plays out on that front. The cherry is there, just need to find the right balance with the hibiscus! If you like a more tart cherry flavor, the longer steep will serve you well.
Tangy and bright cherry, absolutely superb iced with sugar.
CommuniTEA sample: This tea is very tart with a bit of cherry flavor. I cold brewed this and added sugar.
Strong cherry aroma. This tea is very tart. Hibiscus seems to be the dominant flavor to me. Prefer this one iced.
It tastes like cherries and cold brewing is a must. If you like cherry syrup or drinks this is a must try.
I am not a fan of hibiscus, apple pieces, and herbal teas — need I say more. Not my cuppa tea!
This is a nice, light, refreshing, summery decaf tea, once you add some sweetner. My packet seemed to have quite a bit of hibiscus in it with the resulting tartness. I had cold-brewed it for about 8 hours, removed the tea pouch, and let it chill overnight. I drank it late morning after adding one packet of sugar, which I don’t usually do. It tasted pretty good then and would probably make a nice cold summer tea.
Wow - This is TART! Definitely needs some sweetener to tone it down. I enjoyed it cold brewed with agave.
brewed hot this tea is VERY tart, leaning more into sour candy. I added a bit of sugar to lighten it up and it's a very enjoyable cherry tea!
I cold brewed this. The cherry flavor was ok but it was a little tart. It also had a perfumey smell and taste to it and it left me with the same aftertaste. I watered it down hoping that it would help but it didn’t. I don’t think I would drink this again.
