I expected not to like this after reading reviews about a bitter flavor, then smelling the chemical 'citrus' scent in the bag. It was actually very nice. Not bitter at all, and the citrus scent that punched me in the face when I opened the bag mellowed out nicely in the cup.
While this was a decent tea and there's nothing I expressly dislike about it, I don't think its anything to write home about either. Adagio has so many EXCELLENT choices that I prefer, that I don't see myself ordering this again.

I really didn't get the citrus aspect of this tea, but it was still quite enjoyable.
This had a really nice flavor, some of that caffeine-taste, a little lemon, but none of the tannin taste of black tea. Because it's brewed so cool, you do have to drink it pretty quick. Unless of course you have a good thermal mug, but I tend to be a very slow tea-drinker, so I think I might enjoy this from my travel mug on future steeps.
Tasty. Nothing amazing but I did find the flavor to be very comforting and not too overpowering.
I *love* mate and its earthy flavor, so I felt a little let down. I mean, the taste is really good here, it's a light, refreshing combination and I certainly don't regret purchasing it. However, it doesn't *really* taste like mate, not how I expected, anyway. I may leave it brewing for longer next time.
This tea has a very odd taste that doesn't really seem to fit. It's hard to describe it because it has a very strange taste. My husband and I both didn't care for this tea.

I'm not big on citrus flavored tea--or mate--but this was very good iced. I prepared it with hotter than advised water and about right water, both times for about 4 minutes and really didn't notice any difference.
I don't know. There doesn't seem to be a lot going on here. I have never tried a mate before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I'm not a big fan of the flavor. Seems sort of blah.

I found the citrus mate to be a very high quality basic tea. The mate flavor is lovely, and the citrus aspect tastes very natural, no artificial lemon scent or flavor. Great for summer mornings when coffee doesn't seem right.

I really like this one! A good citrus taste, but not weak like some herbal blends. It also has the caffeine from the mate, so you can have a less bitter wake-up in the morning. Add some honey, and you're good to go.
Very good as a wake up cup in the morning. May just have to order a bigger bag in the future.

Unfortunately, this one leaks right out of the tea ball I have. Make sure you use one of those disposable tea bags if you're going to try this one.

I didn't think there was anything particularly special about this tea. It did not smell or taste like citrus to me at all. I thought the flavor was rather bland.
This tea is refreshing and perfect for that pick-me-up first thing in the morning. The citrus flavor is very evident and when mixed with honey tastes a little bit like drinking lifesavers!
It has that distinct mate flavor, but with a zesty sweet flavor that is really nice. I like it for when I need a pick me up, but don't want to caffeinate myself

I'm fairly sure this would be lovely if I could get past my aversion for mate. No fault of the product, Ijust haven't developed a taste for it. The citrus comes through very well, and I do think a citrus lover would find something appealing here.
Citrus tea is nice and light. Can taste citrus flavor. nice and mild
I think the mate will take some time to grow on me. The taste at first was a little off putting, but by the end of the cup I had already acclimated. I didn't notice the great pick-me-up I had hoped, but overall I think this will be a good morning alternative to Irish Breakfast, which I'm starting to get burned out on.

My new go-to morning tea! I love it iced as when it's hot, it's a bit too earthy (which is the nature of mate, I suppose). The level of citrus is perfect, just enough for someone like me who usually adds lemon to her teas.
It was alright but i would not buy it again. It make more of a mess than i anticipated and the flavor was very citrus-y. I think it would be a drink i would gift rather than buy though.
I like mixing lemon and/or orange extract with plain yerba mate, and this takes care of that step for me! Tasty stuff.

Didn't like the 2nd order as much as the first, continues to languish on the shelf. Bitter when brewed too hot. Use sugar to bring out the citrus taste.
