Average to good. It's pretty close to Mate alone.
An excellent mate with a light citrus flavor. Blend with citrus green for a stronger citrus flavor, or ginseng green for an earthy depth.
This tea reminded me of home...Brazil. The smell and the taste took me back to my roots. It was soooo yummy!
Light flavor, so it s not the heavy citrus some people might be looking for, but still delightful either way

This has become my most favorite tea. It gives me an steady energetic boost without the jitter. The citrus is refreshing. I am looking forward to making this into an iced tea for the summer. In the meantime, it is helping me get my taxes done!

Mate I have learned is not my favorite tea..with said a mate tea this one is nice and for Mate tea lover would be awesome. Its just not a flavor profile I enjoy but the again the flavor is not bad its just acquired
I really like the flavor of this tea. It blends nicely with other citrus teas as well. It provides a good pick me up in the morning.
The citrus adds enough sweetness to the mate that I like it without sugar.
It’s a good mate tea, but there wasn’t much that really stood out to me about it. It’s grassy and vegetal if you like that kind of thing, but the citrus comes through very weakly, if at all, and it tastes vaguely artificial to me.
This is my favorite Mate. You still get a great taste but the citrus notes definitely take it to a new level. I will be buying more soon.
I dont know where its coming from, but there is a distinct mint flavor, and it works so well with the light crisp green and citrus flavors

This citrus mate is a tea that I’ll be ordering more of after enjoying the sample. The flavor is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve had citron green and Yerba mate, as it’s a combination of those flavors. Mate is a great pick me up due to the high caffeine content, but it can be a weird taste if you’ve never had it. If you’re looking to get into mate teas, but are worried about the flavor, this should be your first stop on the journey.
Not bad but I really couldn t taste the citrus in it. Next time I ll probably mix with something a bit more flavorful. Overall a good option though if you want something for the morning.

Usually Mates can be a but strong for my taste, but it pairs with the citrus really nicely. Really different from other types of tea, but definitely good for someone looking to branch out and try something new!
I love this mate. I started drinking mate about 6 months ago and have really enjoyed sipping a good brew from my mate gourd every morning. The citrus mate offers a great tang and tartness to the earth flavor of the mate.
It wasn't exactly what I was thinking. It has a strong flavor that I didn't care for. I'm sure some love this tea, but it wasn't for me. It may have been the sunflower.
This is a good tea! I was looking for a tea that tasted good iced that would give me a good boost for the afternoon. This does that perfectly! It has a good amount of caffeine for tea but doesn't make you feel jittery like coffee can. More like a 'focused alertness' is a good way to discribe it. :)
I haven't fully made up my mind about this tea. It does have an interesting sort of...fizzy quality to it. And it left me feeling quite energized. But at 150F, you end up with tepid tea, which is not to my taste. I'm going to try making iced tea with it instead.
Mate tea is great for an even caffeine boost, and the citrus flavor really makes it delish

This is my favorite tea. I order 8-10 different teas and several mates. I use the mates as an addition to existing teas, giving them both a nice flavor and caffeine kick and THIS one is just awesome. Very versatile to add to any tea or, of course, make it on its own.
This has a very clean taste that I love! The citrus flavors make a very nice blend.

I've never drank this stuff the traditional way, but 5 minutes at around 150-160..its a heck of a kick in the morning. I don't even add anything to it. Love the fizzy mouthfeel, and the earthy undertone mixed with the citrus just does it for me.

Interesting citrus flavor, can't put my finger on exactly what it is but this is pretty refreshing when iced after brewing.

This tea while good was not one of my favorites in the citrus teas i have tried.
I never tried mate before this tea, but I'm so glad I ordered a sample of this. A nice, fresh alternative to my morning cup of coffee and does not have the headache-y effects of too many cups of coffee. Perfect when sweetened with honey. This is a pound-worthy buy.
Not sure what I was expecting, but this knocked my socks off. Great flavor and I will definitely buy again.

Wonderful blend! I actually like this better than regular yerba mate - I really think the citrus complements the herbal flavor perfectly! I don't usually spring for mate in general, but this one is making me change my mind.
I love,love,love this stuff. Being from the south I grow up drinking sweet ice tea. My first experience with this tea was at a high dollar grocery store for three dollars a can . Now I can make it myself much cheaper and better. I make a half gallon at a time sweetened with a little honey served over ice👌
Great tea! The citrus flavor is subtle and doesn't take away from the grassy flavor of the mate.
Love the citrus notes in this tea. I have always loved the flavor of mate teas and this is no different. I find that in many teas a citrus flavor is hard to get but it is very apparent in this tea and that is great.
i'm not generally a mate drinker. My experience up til this point has been yerba mate. But I have to say, this was really good. A smooth, citrus flavor that wasn't overpowering, but didn't give too much away to the mate flavor. I'd recommend this for easing your way into mate.
