Great tea. The citrus flavor is light and not overpowering. I also was very glad that the citrus was not at all bitter. I was shocked and how light the color was so the first time I over brewed, don’t judge this tea by the color.
The herbal-grassy notes of Argentine Yerba Mate enhanced with the lively taste of ripe citrus fruits. Contains caffeine.

Great tea. The citrus flavor is light and not overpowering. I also was very glad that the citrus was not at all bitter. I was shocked and how light the color was so the first time I over brewed, don’t judge this tea by the color.
Has an odd aroma, and has a dry mouth feel. Was not as expected from a mate.
Had to be very careful on the temperature range and steep longer than recommended (otherwise just looked/tasted like water). I was a little disappointed after the first few cups, but after some trial and error, this tea is great! The citrus flavor is not too overbearing and is very enjoyable.
This tea has a very mild taste, it works well when you mix it with other teas like kona pineapple
I had never tried mate before trying this, and now I'm hooked! As I've stated in other citrus tea reviews on here, citrus is of my "go-to" flavors, and this was no exception. The caffeine was definitely present, which I enjoyed, as my fiance and I are working towards cutting coffee out of our diet. Getting three steepings out of this was also a huge plus! The flavor was very light and enjoyable and will definitely be a daily cup for us now!
I sent this as a gift- my friend loves all the mates. She really liked it.
Murky moss green color; citrus, herbaceous, clove nose; mid-body; herbaceous; nutty; citrus elements; veggies; asparagus flavors.
Not much citrus flavor, kinda minty aftertaste. Not bad, but doesn't capture me like other teas here.
This is a very light and flavorful citrus tea. The lemon and orange are both noticeable and tasty.
I didn’t taste too much of the citrus, mostly mate
This is the base of all my tea experiences. I put it in every pot I brew. I love the crispness it adds. It is a great pick me up and I love that I'm getting my green tea in every pot.
Nice added slight citrus flavor with a good caffeine boost.
I am a huge fan of mate, and this one is refreshing. A nice change, although not my absolute favorite. Try the Samurai Mate!
Nice light citrus taste .would go very well with lemonade as a cold tea in the warmer months. But excellent hot as well
This is great in the morning and helped me become less dependant on coffee! Great hot or iced—I like blending it with other teas such as green rooibos bonita.
A good jump start to the morning! Very light tea, I do not get much citrus from it but still love the taste.
Love this!!! The tea is smooth and fruity. Makes a great afternoon “Pick-me-up” tea.
Pretty good! I add a space of lemon to make it tangy.
This is my first experience with mate teas. I liked it well enough because of the citrus notes, but the tea feels... grassy otherwise. I dont think I'll reorder but I can understand how someone would enjoy this. As far as the caffeine content I didnt notice a difference between this and black teas.
I love mate. The perfect kick to the face (in a good way) when you need an energy boost! The citrus really helps with the normally strong tobacco notes.
One of my go-to's. It has the freshness of an herbal tea but the caffeine of a cup of coffee!
Good hot or cold, light, grassy, citrus flavor. I think I prefer the citron green for this flavor combination, but this is a nice way to mix things up.
Refreshing and pleasant tea that gives a little boost of energy. I'm adding this to my favorites!
Good citrus flavor, but doesn't meld with the mate at well as some other flavors (chocolate, hazelnut).
I know I drank the whole sample, but honestly this tea was a little forgettable.
A bright green tea that is refreshing for the summer.
A delicious citrus tea for a nice boost if needed. Tastes great iced, as well.
If you haven't ever tried Mate, then this is a great way to start. The citrus is subtle but removes the bitterness that can be associated with straight mate. It has been my replacement for coffee without any of the jitters or the crash.
Not my favorite. I thought it tasted more bitter than citrusy and it just didn't do it for me.
I do enjoy Yerba tea but I think I would prefer just plain.
Not my favorite mate blend but a nice morning tea. Its quite mild for mate.
My new favorite tea! Went ahead and ordered the big bag because I was disappointed I let myself run out. Love the nice energy lift it gives me.
Not too bad, a good citrus. Not a super bright citrus but a good one.
I like this tea because it's light and does give me a boost of caffeen on mornings when I need it. A nice, light flavor. I'd buy this again, but it won't be a staple in my cupboard.
2 teaspoons is all you need! It’s so great! I have been getting it quite often! It’s great!
Great mate tea. A bit dry and strong so I have to be in the mood for it. Overall yummy though.
Very refreshing, I love it on ice. Smooth and lemony.
lovely citrus undertones with a nice beautiful color
Really not a fan. Very weak taste, was too mild for my liking. Followed directions. 3-5 mins @150. Will try again with a different brew. Update: From another review I now mix citrus mate with peach oolong. Tastes great, curbs appetite and great energy boost.
I love the fresh citrus flavor of this tea. Slightly bitter at the end. Added a little honey and it was just perfect. I did have to reheat the tea as the 150 degree steeping temp is not warm enough to keep the tea hot for long.
It's a tasty tea, use a little extra or it's rather weak. Nice with a lemon slice.
This matte is very fresh and light. A wonderful afternoon pick me up.
If you're new to mate, try this. Mate is popular all over South America. It's a great alternative to coffee, and much better for you.
It has a strong lime like flavor. If you like mate or lime then you will probably like this.
I have been buying and brewing this tea for several years. My 27 year old son just came back from traveling south america and brought back a mate tea from Argentina. When he ran out he started drinking this tea and loved it for its taste and health benefits. I highly recommend this tea
This makes great Sun Tea Mixed with Earl Grey Lavender and Dragon Fruit Dream .
I must confess that my interest in mate was piqued by Mozart In The Jungle. I have tried all the Adagio mates and this is my favorite. The bright citrus flavor balances out the earthiness of the mate and is quite perfect.
My summer go to for almost everything! I add some of this Mate to nearly all my summer tea beverages when I need a caffeine kick. It pairs nicely with Peach Bellini and Raspberry Limeade.
Good drink, plenty of zing in the caffeine department. I wasn't as fond of the citrus notes, which is odd because I love citrus.
Pretty good. Great if you blend with the fruity herbal teas.
