This was ok. I usually don’t love citrus teas so I was ready to hate it. But I didn’t. I finished my cup.
The herbal-grassy notes of Argentine Yerba Mate enhanced with the lively taste of ripe citrus fruits. Contains caffeine.

Pleasant and citrusy. Might be good if you are in the mood for something light but packs a caffeinated punch!
This is one of my favorite mate teas. For a light fruity mate- I HIGHLY prefer this one over the mango. This one has a great brightness- my next step is to try it iced.
Make sure to keep you Mate temp low as suggested it keeps the subtle flavors from the mate itself from being destroyed.
Very tasty tea. I’ve personally yet to find a mate I didn’t love.
Not a huge fan of this tea. It has a strong citrus flavor for sure. Reminds me of something one might drink if they were sick. =)
I'm not much of a citrus person, but this tea was a pleasant surprise. It's a nice, mild, light tea and the citrus is not too overpowering. I added splenda and I think it would have been bland without it.
Excellent mate blend. The citrus flavors work well here and create a bright, refreshing tea. If you're looking for a caffeine kick, that's here as well.
I really like it has a slight black pepper taste and citrus finish. I prefer the mango version, but this one is great, too!
Doesn't have a lot of flavor. Add sugar and a little bit of flavor comes up, but still not much. Very light, so if you like light teas this might be one to try.
I definitely like this more than the other mate I tried. It isn't as sweet as expected, but is very citrisy. This is a really good choice for caffine addicts who like fruity tea, but it does need sugar.
I'm not much of a citrus person, but this is great! Very refreshing and nice; did it with the Oolong setting on the velociTEA.
Starts out tasting like a black tea and finishes with honey. Pleasant citrus aroma.
Very pleasant citrus flavor, almost like a lemon or orange flavored candy
Something about the citrus really works with mate. I enjoyed this one. It was an all around gentle cuppa for a bit of much needed afternoon caffeine.
It smells great as soon as you open it. It tastes great! Would make a lovely iced tea!
The problem I have with it is that it physically makes me ill, because apparently mate and I do not get along.
I might still drink it anyway. It's really nice.
Wow! This is sweet, a perfect blend of fruit. I thought I did not like mate tea but this is wonderful!
Not good not bad- had this iced
I'm new to mate tea. I found the flavor to be green and earthy with mild citrus. I enjoyed it hot, but I think I liked it better as it cooled to room temp.
This didn't knock my socks off, but it was a very pleasant citrus-y flavor, and I appreciated the high caffeine level.
I seriously like citrus but with mate it did not move my taste buds. I could not finish it. I’m just not a fan of mate. That’s why I love CommuniTea because it’s an adventure in tea drinking. Some peopl
Definitely not a fan of mate without some strong flavors to conceal it. (From July CommuniTEA box)
Didn't have the more distinct citrus flavor that I prefer. Many of the fruit teas share the same downfall... The taste was too light, even for a summer brew.
My first impression of the tea straight from the aroma in the bag, I was concerned as it smelled like a citrus household cleaning product. But upon brewing and tasting, it has a lovely mellow flavor from the mate and a mellow citrusy twang that tastes good together. Very similar to a recent tea that was in the CommuniTEA box.
I received a sample of this in the July 2020 Communiteas. I am starting to realize that I may not like mate. This is not a bad tea but to me it tastes like chamomile which I don't like (even though there is no chamomile in it). If you like chamomile this one may be right up your ally. Also to me it was only slightly citrus. Nothing overpowering.
I sampled this tea as part of the July CommuniTEA. This is another example of a very tasty mate and citrus blend. The lemon comes through clearly and is neither overpowering or unpleasant. The mate is present yet subdued and provides an excellent backbone for the lemon notes. I just wish Adagio would package this using a different color than the Herbal teas. I nearly drank this too late in the day!
I quite like this tea. It has a strong lemon scent and taste, but it's not cloying. The smell and taste reminds me a bit of a lemon icing. I brewed mine at 150F for 5 minutes and drank it hot without sweetener. I imagine that it might taste nice iced as well!
A bright citrus tea! once again, I get my fruity pebbles vibes with citrus teas and I LOVE it! touch of honey to enhance the flavors. Sampled with the CommuniTEA July Box.
Mellow, light, and refreshing. This will become a staple in my cupboard
Delicious mate. The flavor is very good but I'm having a difficult time identifying a primary flavor - I think it tastes most like grapefruit.
This is an ok tea for me. I am not getting the citrus flavor in the sampler package I received as part of the Communitea.
The flavors are mild. This tea tastes more like what you might expect out of a supermarket's tea brand. It's not unpleasant, and delivers a nice jolt of caffeine.
I was hoping this would be a great tea. It was kind of blah. The smell of the tea was amazing. It even took 2 steps for me to receive the caffeine kick from it. The second steep had better flavour but it was still kind of absent flavour. I did not have many citrus pieces in my sample (just a small one) so perhaps that is what made it so bland.
Very fragrant and to me lightly flavorful. I mostly taste the lemon. Kind of like an herbal lemonade!
Refreshing and zesty lemon flavor. Would never suspect it’s high caffeine!
This tea is light and refreshing and tasty. Steeped at 155 for 3.5 min and it was perfect for me.
I am not a usually fan of orange flavored teas. However, this tea had a light enough orange taste that I was able to enjoy it. I did a 3 minute steep to keep the flavor lighter.
I made sure to steep today's tea at no more than 150 F for 5 minutes. This is my first time having a whole leaf yerba mate in its non-toasted incarnation; the orange-lemon flavor plus the bits of orange peel add a pleasant fruitiness to the herby quality of the mate itself, which is light and flavorful. I missed the mate from a few days ago, but this makes me want to go back and have it now!
A nice blend that doesn't let the citrus overwhelm the yerba mate flavor. Since delicate flavored teas are not really a favorite of mine, I let the water come to a full boil, then let it steep for 5 minutes.
Good mate blend. Extra zing of citrus. Not bitter at all if brewed at low temp
Very plain in flavor - even a little weak. I may brew it just a few degrees hotter next time.
(July CommuniTEA box)
This tea is not strong enough for my taste and the citrus flavor is barely noticeable.
Very nice lemony tang with a soft mate undertone. Perfect for a morning pick me up!
I am not a citrus fan yet I loved this. The mate came through and got rid of the citrus notes that I hate. A very good tea.
Citrusy and delicious! I love Yerba mate because it’s great for energy levels, but it’s really more of a morning tea, it will keep you up if you drink it late!
great work horse tea, good for every day use. High quality
It’s quite good but not one of my favourites. Works well iced or hot
Great flavor to wake up for the day. Great cold too.
I regret getting a sample size because I went for this one more often than I thought. Never had plain mate but the citrus really works here.
I was looking for something to replace everyday coffee, Great flavor for morning tea!
My first Mate blend to try. I like it some, but it may have to grow on me or I need to try others.
