I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It smells very smoky when brewed but it only has a hint of smoke in it. It is yummy and very much fall like!
That was a re-order, because I like the out of the main way flavor
the smell of this tea was so overwhelming that no one in my family could bring themselves to even try it. 'Bonfire' is an apt name, as it definitely smells like something burning, but whatever it is, I don't want to drink it. However it's clear that a lot of people really love this tea, so I do recommend at least getting a sample, because for three bucks you either have a new favorite tea, or something to stun family members by saying 'hey, take a whiff of THIS' so, all in all, a pretty good buy.
Not as spicy or smoky as I thought it would be, but delicious nonetheless.

Smells smokey and tastes citrusy. It can be very intense as dry tea but don't let that dissuade you.
I had a feeling this might be *too* smoky for me, and it was. So if you like smoky flavors, definitely try this! But it was a bit too much for me.

Not my favorite to drink, but the smoky, spicy, and citrusy flavors make it an amazing addition to meat rubs and marinades. We use this tea as a part of our venison rub and everyone loves it

Weirdest tea ever, but if you like having a warm fire on cold winter nights, or watching fall leaves with mittens on this tea is for you. Spicy, Smokey and not quite something you can put your fingers on.

This has a good, smokey flavor. I had weird dreams every time I drank it. I can't say the tea caused it, but the dreams didn't occur when I wasn't drinking the tea.

I thought I would give this a try, even though I have personally never been one to sit by the fire; I was hoping that other flavors would win out over any smokiness. It may well be owing to an imbalance in the ingredients that went into my particular steeping, but I got so much smoke smell while the pot was brewing, and found myself overpowered by smokiness when I drank it, that I just couldn't get through it. I'm afraid I didn't get any other flavors, so turned off was I by the smokiness. However, if you are the sort of person who enjoys sitting by the fire, this could very well be a great tea for you!

I enjoy this in the evening . It has a little bit of sweet and smoke so it soothes a sweet craving. Great with a spoonful of honey added.

Just a little too musky for me. The strong Smokey flavor is overpowering. This would probably make a good dry rub if the right seasonings were added

This tea is appropriately named. It's a very smoky mix of flavors. It's definitely one that I am only in the mood for during chilly Autumn months.
I think I would like this tea if not for the Lapsang Souchong in it. Its a bit too smokey for me.

I really wanted to like this tea but I think I just don't like honeybush. This tea was nice and spicy but not overly so. However, then it had an almost plasticy taste. Again, it might just be my personal taste.

This tea really lives up to its name! It's a very cozy cup of tea, and has a very smoky smell and flavor. If you're not into smoky flavors, this won't be for you. If you like quirky teas, give it a try!

Has a very strong smell before being steeped, if you get headaches from strong scents I would avoid putting your face too close to it. The steeped tea is fine though and I really enjoy the taste, so far one of my favorite non-caffeinated teas, very nice for evening drinking.
The artificial orange taste and smokiness do not mix well. It nauseated me. Really disappointed and will not buy again. Bleh
This was quite terrible. It tasted like burnt rubber and baby powder with roasted meat. Weirdest cup of tea ever.
I like smokey teas, and this one is STRONG and smokey. My partner felt like it was too strong, but I've enjoyed it. You have to been in the mood for it though.
I was a little nervous about this tea, but the flavors are all well balanced. It smells and tastes just like a bonfire. I love drinking a cup will curled up with a good book while snuggled under some blankets.
How many complex flavors can you put into one tea before it's ruined? I think this one answers that question...the initial flavor of orange shines but the after taste is Awful!
This is one of the best teas for when you have a cold. Generally, I m not a huge fan of spices like pepper corn in my tea, but it s the best to help clear the mind during the flu. And this tea is really nummy on chilly mornings.
I find this tea to be best in small doses. The flavor is great, but the smokiness is a bit much for me if I try to drink a big cup.
Every time I make this blend, I like it more. It's a good evening tea, and rather than being sweet or spicy, it's almost savory with a really rich undertone. I can't think of the word exactly. Full-bodied? Anyways, it's one of my new favorite November teas.

I know I'm 100% in the minority for not liking this tea, BUT I gave it to a friend and he loves it. So the stars are from him, not me. Personally, I was hoping it was going to be more of a sweet-smoky kind of like barbeque, but it's more of a hot-smoky and I'm just not a fan of that.
I don't know how other people feel about this, but when I first tasted this tea I couldn't quite place what the weird unsettling flavor was. With a few more sips, I realized that it tasted like liquid smoke, almost like smoked meat. I told my friends I was with that my tea tasted like smoked meat and they didn't believe me. When I let them taste it they agreed. This tea tastes kind of like smoked meat.
