A little smokey, a little citrusy, my favorite brew to drink just as I’m finishing up my work day.
Honeybush hazelnut and cocoa nibs relax and ground you, while a spice blend of aniseed, cinnamon, clove, and orange peel offer cozy comfort.

A little smokey, a little citrusy, my favorite brew to drink just as I’m finishing up my work day.
Hahah only kept this tea long enough to make my friend smell how nasty it was
This tea is confusing my tastebuds. I get mostly orange upfront then cloves and rosehips. I can't really pull out the other flavors at all. If I had bought this tea and didn't have an ingredient list in front of me I might have only guessed a few of the ingredients. Unfortunately, this reminds me of one of my own 'custom' mixes of tea/tisanes I've made at home, meaning I mix too many items together and it just overwhelms the senses, I enjoy each individual ingredient on its own but all together, not so much. This tea isn't so bad it's undrinkable but I wont buy it again.
I love adagio teas, but this one really missed the mark to me. It smells awful and tastes even worse.
Better than I expected, an acceptable caffeine-free tea, but won't be my first choice.
this tea didn't offer the warm and cozy cup of comfort I was hoping for but perhaps someone wanting a more spicy blend would enjoy it more than I did.
One of my favorites! Has such a nice taste to it and I look forward to it every year.
This is a great fall time tea. It’s got a warm smoky flavor.
Really nice mellow flavor; I did think (and wish) it would be smokier.
Such an interesting tea! It's smokey, spicy, and fruity.
Good Smokey tea perfect for a fall night. Thumbs up!
This is my favorite tea. Just enough spice. Nice balance. I even enjoy it out side on the evening with a fire.
I had mixed opinions about this one. I brewed up a cup last night, and went for the second steep. It re-steeped well on the second go. I noticed that the second steep brought out some more of the fruity flavors, where as the first one was dark and smoky. I woke up today wishing I had brought some with me, which is what tipped me over to giving this five stars!
I can’t get enough of this tea! It tastes and smells like a Bon fire—if that’s even possible! This tea tastes earthy, sweet and spicy all rolled into one. The coca bits makes it perfect—which is rare for me to say because I’m not a huge coca person.
Very strong and it really does smell like a bonfire.
Why was I so suprised that this actually smells and taste like a warm camp fire? But like a camp fire that someone threw a bunch of spices into, I can't get enough of this tea.
It is mildly sweet but not nearly smoky enough for my taste. It reminds me more of cider by a gas fireplace than sitting by a bonfire.
Its such an interesting flavor! A mild smokiness like a real bonfire with a twist of sweet and spicy to really get into that fall feeling. Definitely recommend!
This was harvesty, but had a very sickly sweet, unbalanced note. I had to add ginger to make it drinkable. The quality of the tea was obvious, but this blend just doesn’t work for me.
Absolutely delicious, warms you up and is the perfect treat for autumn.
I like the pink peppercorns and the lapsang souchang, but could do without the fruity bits. I think the tea itself is overwhelmed by the apples and it gets a little sour towards the end.
Made with milk and sweetener. For me, the smoky flavor was the most noticeable, so much that I could barely get a hint of the cinnamon and orange scents. Really does have the feeling of a bonfire, and while it's very drinkable I'm not sure I'll order it again, since I prefer teas where the notes of fruit or nut are stronger.
i was hoping for a little more smoke and bite, like sitting at a campfire, but it really is more like being at a fall fair with strong apple flavors.
Spicy autumn tea that FINALLY matches October in Southern California with red peppercorns and smoky lapsang. I honestly love it as it hits notes of campfires on a warm night.
Perfect fall tea, great on a cool evening, smoky flavor with the spice is a great combo
My husband thinks it smells good but taste weird. I think the taste is unique, kind of remind me of red dates.
Not nearly as 'apple-y' as I d hoped for some reason. Its not a bad tea. Maybe it will grow on me.
Smokey and spicy. I finished this sample within a couple of days.
I've come to realize I Really like Lapsang Souchang tea so I had to order this. Tastes just like a fall night bonfire smells. This is a perfect morning wake-me-up and get me going tea. But it IS a Lapsang tea so all the wonderful smokiness is there!
A good and complex mix of flavors that reminds me more of a Christmas cookie than a fall drink. Resteeping changes the flavor profile as well - the fruitiness is in the first cup and smoky lapsang really comes to the fore on the second steep. Works with milk or on its own. It's the kind of tea that I'll enjoy from time to time but the flavor is too harsh to drink every single day, I need a palate refresher in between.
Ok, I’m usually up for untypical flavors or complex flavors but this pushed it too far. Very smoky/peaty with some undesirable under tones. First time I couldn’t finish a cup of tea from here.
Did not care for this one at all. It's fine when it is piping hot, but as it started to cool the peppercorns started to be more prominent and the flavor was off.
This tea is very one of a kind. It has a strong smoke favor, I absolutely love it. It's like fall in a mug
Smoky, earthy, lovely. I enjoyed this for a fall treat.
Full disclosure: I've only tried this tea once, so my opinion of it may change if I drink more of it, though I'm not fully committed to that prospect. This tea tastes fine. It's a good, autumnal-feeling tea with a robust range of flavors I have a hard time picking apart. It's sort of sweet, sort of spiced, a little fruity. HOWEVER. The aroma is... cloying. It hits you right out of the bag and it doesn't diffuse until you've drunk the last sip. It's like walking into a Bath & Body Works during the third financial quarter, and only slightly less potent. I don't know what it is that makes the smell so powerful, but it should've been tossed into an actual bonfire and not into this tea. I'm rather disappointed, because the tea itself really isn't offensive at all, but I don't want to have to plug my nose just to drink it.
I love this one, it literally is like a fall bonfine in your cup, smells exactly like one and tastes great!
Wonderful melding of flavors. Just enough cinnamon to spice up the flavor. The aroma is just heavenly and the tea is delicious.
This has a kind of warm, almost woody taste to it. Definitely something I have to be in the mood for, but fall/winter weather is definitely the perfect time for this.
This is my absolute favorite tea so far! I love the smoky flavor, and something about the flavors reminds me of holiday dinners. Very comforting!
One of the few teas I really did not like. I can't tell if it was smell combined with taste. Initially I liked the smell but by end of cup I couldn't stand it. Same with taste.
True to name, this tea tastes like a plume of smoke. While I applaud the accuracy, I'm not likely to have this tea very often.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the smokiness. I would give it 3 stars, but my husband is a huge fan. Thus, 4 stars between the two of us.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this tea but I loved it. It has a slightly smoky flavor and gives the feeling you are sitting outside by a campfire.
Well, this tea is aptly named. As another reviewer stated, it tastes like a bonfire in a cup. I'll admit the liqueur tasted better than I expected, given the aroma of the dry tea leaves. But it still tasted like a bonfire. Some have suggested that it works well as part of a blend, but I highly doubt I will even try that.
Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA box. Another tea with the lapsang souchong, leaving that Smokey taste that I really don’t enjoy. It left the rest of the mix smelling like an ornate potpourri.
More like a 4.5! With a little stevia tasted like mild red hots on a cup with a touch of campfire smoke. Yum!
A light cup of tea..lots of flavors mingling..touch of anise.
Couldn’t finish my cup. It smells like a bbq, and tastes just as savory. The smoke is extremely overwhelming and the addition of the peppercorn doesn’t help keep this from tasting like a toasty piece of meat. I just couldn’t abide by this one, black or sugared. 3mins at 212°F
Really unique tea, can’t say I’ve had anything like it before! I’m a lapsang fan, so the smokiness doesn’t bother me.
This literally does taste like a spicy nutty bonfire, and it grew on me as I drank it! Not an everyday tea for me, this turned out to be more of an interesting cup where I sort of enjoyed the mystery of finding out if I was going to like it (after seeing so many love or hate reviews). I enjoyed seeing how it changed as it cooled, and though I don't think I'd buy this, I wouldn't mind having this a few times during the Fall. When hot, I tasted the smokiness most, with a bit of hazelnut nuttiness... I don't think I ever tasted the honeybush, but it might have blended into the hazelnut. I added honey, which smoothed it out and got rid of the sensation in my throat that I had breathed in bonfire smoke by accident. As it cooled to warm, I could start to taste cocoa nibs, and then the pepperiness of the peppercorns. I think the aniseed came at the end of the smoke. The orange didn't come through for me at all. Certainly not for everyone, but this is definitely an interesting and thoughtfully blended tea, that evokes a whole setting and sense of nostalgia.
