Definitely in my top ten for smoky flavorful tea.
Honeybush hazelnut and cocoa nibs relax and ground you, while a spice blend of aniseed, cinnamon, clove, and orange peel offer cozy comfort.

Definitely in my top ten for smoky flavorful tea.
I wasn't expecting to enjoy this one but it was recommended by a friend. It's definitely an interesting tea and tastes similar to how a bonfire smells but in all the best ways.
This was unique, full of flavor and makes an excellent warm brew for winter. Definitely recommend!
A fine tea, just not that much for me. It s for sure a tea that I would want to drink while eating. Not bad though! Just a little strong for me.
This is a very unique spice and perfect for fall. Not as intense as a chai.
Has a cool
Smoky flavor, but I feel there are too many competing flavors in this tea that it is hard for me to see myself getting again.
great
So glad this is back. Been waiting to get a large supply so I can have it on hand year round. This is really like a campfire in a cup. It reminds me of a nice nuanced peated scotch like an Ardbeg or Lagavulin. I added a teaspoon of honey but it's good without it too.
blarg...I like lapsong, I enjoy peated whisky...this was not either and missed in its attempt. Just wrong mix of flavours for my tongue.
This is the perfect fall tea, in my opinion. Always keep it stocked.
Not my favorite, it was both smokey and rather spicy. I can definitely see & appreciate it as an autumn flavor...but yeah, not my kind of flavor.
Quite literally not my cup of tea. The flavor was unpleasant and overwhelmingly smokey, but I suppose that's why they call it bonfire. It was good quality tea, just not to my preference.
5/5, It has a very complex flavor and tastes very much like the description describes. This is probably one of my new favorite herbal teas! It definitely has a bit of a smokey taste, so I might not recommend this to people who hate lapsang souchong.
Opened the bag and loved the smell. It’s great in the late evening outside
Layered warm spice and subtle smoke. Rooibos provides body and lapsang lends depth. Lovely but one point off for the overwhelming orange flavoring, which grows stronger with each subsequent steep.
This is an odd flavor combo. I don't love it, and I don't hate it. Let's leave it at 'I'm glad I ordered the sample size.'
Smoky, much like a perfect Fall day. Great with roasted smores next to the fire pit.
I love this one so much I stock up every season. It s warm, a little spicy, and reminds me of nights around the- you guessed it- bonfire.
This tea actually smells like woody bonfires - love the spicy flavor on cold days.
To be honest this was my fault. I thought it would be fun to try, but should have known the peppercorns would be too much.
If you enjoy this type of flavor or don t mind the strong spices, this one is great! Just too much for my personal tastes.
LOVE this one! The smoky aroma and flavor is intriguing! I like to mix it with the caffeinated teas in the fall sampler to add some smoky flavor and have caffeine also.
After reading the ingredients I couldn't imagine why I ordered. There were way to many flavors at play and instead of it being complex, which is surely the goal, it just tasted like everything left over thrown into a bin.
Very tasty! I think it needed a lil more smoke tho! Lil more Lapsang!!! Made a Mezcal Cocktail with it to help smoke it up!
If you could capture That feeling you have when you sit around a as bonfire with loved ones having A good time And turn it into a flavor of tea, that would be this tea, I love it.
I brew this one a little longer and a little stronger than what it calls for. I felt like when I followed the time/amount instructions it just left it feeling a tad weak. This is one of my favorite teas from here and if I am feeling special I will put a tad of maple syrup (not honey!) in.
I am not a sophisticated tea person. I love this tea with caramel flavored creamer. It's really comforting on a cold day.
perfect cold weather tea! The lapsang in this tea is great!
This tea tasted like liquid smoke. I guess i should have expected that, but it was totally not my jam.
This smells amazing and tastes even better. Smoky, fruity and more than the sum of its parts, it is autumn in a cup. I'm impatiently waiting for the largest size to be available again so I can pounce.
**please do not go by my temp or time I do not know them**
I'm not sure what I was expecting. It's called bonfire, when I opened it it smelled like a bonfire in the woods, smoke billowing around with the wind blowing through autumn trees. It tasted like I was trying to drink smoke. It was so over powering the taste clung to the next cup of tea I made as well, and let me tell you smoked blood orange is awful.
I gave to 2 out of 5 because it says what it is I just hate it.
If I could give this zero stars I would. There is just too much going on here. It smelled awful and tasted even worse. One sip went straight down the sink, couldn't even swallow it.
***UPDATE*** Again, oopsies on the temp/steep time the first go round. The family and I tried it again last night and with the sample of the rock sugar. It was pleasant to drink this go-round but not one I will reach for.
I didn’t care for this tea. I don’t like teas that taste like lapsang
meh. honestly just not the flavor combination for me.
So nice to have a spicy and warm decaf fall tea! I especially love the kick from the pink peppercorns.
This is a really nice cold weather tea. I love curling up with a good book with this tea
If Smokey with a little bit of spice is what you’re looking for then this is the tea for you. The lapsang souchong is definitely the predominant flavor in this tea but the other ingredients do round it out nicely.
Excellent smoky but spicy, gentle and subtly fruity festive blend!
I tried this in the Autumn Teas sampler my mom had purchased. Like the Chestnut, I wasn't sure about flavors I was getting. I gave it another chance and had a second cup, all I say is wow! The flavors came to me this time and tasted like your were drinking, well, a bonfire. It has a nice nice woodsy smoky flavor that reminds you of sitting near a bonfire and the aromas you get from the wood burning. Glad I gave this one a chance because it is now my 2nd favorite tea from Adagio. Will be stocking up when it comes back in stock.
This tea makes no sense. It shouldn’t be delicious. But it is. A great tea for anyone looking for something warm and cozy but more sophisticated and complex than just cinnamon.
This tea has become a favorite. I ordered it because it sounded unique. I know some enjoy it and others flat out hate it. To me, it really smells campy like a bonfire. I prefer it with a small amount of cane sugar and nothing else. I will be ordering this one again!
One of my favorite winter teas. Smoky and spicy... love it.
I really wanted to love this tea, as it sounded so intriguing. It's not bad, it's just not excellent either. There is some weird unnatural aftertaste that bothers me. Even though this seems more appropriate for a seasonal hot tea, I found that it's not too bad when prepared as an iced tea with soy milk.
Perfect for camping, nice smokey amazing flavor, not at all the bitter flavor I was expecting.
Smoky... and maybe a little too smoky. I can t decide if I love it or not.
I expected this to be spicier or more chai-like, but to me it tastes like the best kind of autumn cider. Very bright, with an orange/apple tinge to it and a hint of warm spices in the back. I kind of forgot I was making this and let it brew for ten or so minutes, and it still tasted great.
This tea is fun, I have been enjoying it and will probably make it a fall staple. The smokiness is bold, but not too off-putting, and the peppercorns give a little spice while the dried fruit adds sweetness.
It smells yummy but I can't ever seem to get much flavor out of it
I hate this. The smell when you first open the bag is overwhelming and terrible, and if you're hoping it'll improve when made into tea, you'll be disappointed. This tastes like no other tea I've ever had, but not in a good way. It doesn't have enough spice to be a spice tea, or enough fruit to be a fruit tea. It's just really offputting, like it should be savory instead of sweet. The best I can describe it is that it's smoky (it isn't really, but no other word describes it better), but living in California, that isn't really a relaxing smell. I ordered the sample after glancing at the ingredients list and liking what I saw, but I had to throw it out after the first cup because I couldn't stomach the thought of smelling it again.
I got this as a sample and ended ordering more. I know that some people hate the smokey flavor but it's something I really enjoyed personally. I'm kind of in love. It is pretty strong smokiness though, so be warned.
The smokey taste was so overbearing I could barely drink half the cup both times I've tried it.
It’s fine for an herbal decaf cup. It was described by my boyfriend as “the burnt part of a roasted marshmallow” and I have to agree. It’s very forward with the smoky burnt wood aroma. Not unpleasant, but not for everyone.
