Co!or change, blueberry, very awesome Halloween tea. It has become my daughter's go to, and I have to put the blue moons on my calendar so I can restock as needed. We tend to drink this as an iced tea, and it makes a very good mocktail if you use a sparking water, a lemonade, and this tea. Daughter's favorite is this and a pomengranate or blueberry lemonade.
This tea is so good and so fun! I like it with lemon or without adding lemon. It is so much fun to watch it change.
This tea is such a pretty color! I'm not a huge fan of the flavor to be honest, it's a bit bland.

Perhaps I am more sensitive towards it but I get a lot more lemongrass than blueberry. I like lemongrass in doses but this is a bit higher than that dose. Not bad, just nothing I would pick up again. I like other Adagio herbals more.

This tea is okay, the color is cool but the taste is a little too light for me so I mix other teas into it.
This tea has a strong aroma and a flavor to match. I prefer the taste with lemon in general as if done right it seems to help bring out more flavor from the tea itself

Been watching this one pop up on the blue moon for several years. This tea is absolutely amazing in flavor, color, and scent. So relaxing in the evening.
I always wanted to try this so I was happy I got the opportunity. It has a very light flavor which I was expecting but honey and fresh lemon was so good in it. Great PM tea.
So wanted to love this, but the lemongrass is overwhelming and so strong the pea flower blue goes pink quickly. Used the recommended steeping time and water temp. If you like lemongrass go for it, otherwise they have many teas you will enjoy more.

Very subtle smooth tea. I would double and do 2 tsp per 8 oz and adding lemon is nit necessary but adds another layer of depth to the flavor. Totally worth the wait.

Only available for one 24-hour period (that is if they don't sell out first! And they sure did sell out the last time we had a blue moon!).
Key tip: Put the tea in a large enough container and shake/stir it up a little bit, because the tea is packed so tightly in the bags that they are shipped in, that you will tend to get an uneven amount of either mostly the flowers, or mostly everything else If you scoop straight from the bag (which I did that on my first cup, and got almost all flowers, and so in that case it is a very much a one note tea).
Very cool on the color changing aspect but if you get only the flowers itself it's okay, but it is much better when everything is blended together.
I bought a nice amount to last me until the next blue moon, and I may give an update on this once I do my next cup.
I wait every year for this to arrive. This is one of my all time favorites, and kept watching to see when it was available. Will order again.
This has an interesting flavor. Very nice lemon grass. I actually bought it in error thinking it was the regular bella luna. Nice caffeine free option. I love the blue color of the tea. I can imagine I'm drinking something exotic. 🙂
A sweet and fruity tea that really is blue once brewed. Beside from color, It doesn't feel as fancy as the other Bella Luna teas.
The color of this tea is lovely and when adding a bit of lemon juice it becomes even more vibrant in color. The taste was a bit weak for me. It's very light tasting. I enjoyed it better iced than hot.
I was very excited to get to try this tea when it became available this time around. I found the flavor of the tea by itself to be fairly subtle, but after adding lemon juice to it to activate it's color changing properties I found it to be a very nice tea after adding in some sugar as well. ...And the fact that it is able to change color it half the fun and in my opinion makes the tea even more enjoyable.
I was really hoping to like this one because the color is beautiful, but it doesn't taste good to me. Kind of bland, and the smell is bad. It was worth trying for the novelty, and I will play around with it to see if I can make it work.
Absolutely magical. Flavor is well balanced between the lemongrass and blueberry flavor, takes well to honey and lemon juice to create the magic color changing effect. Very good iced.
I really wish I could have enjoyed this one. I waited two years and picked up a couple bags out of excitement! However I need to be honest with myself. I felt thst this fell flat; the flavor was not quite there, I do like to add a bit of lemon juice not just for fun but for flavor though.
Has a nice fragrance, but it is a *very* light floral flavor- definitely on the weaker side, on its own. Like a lot of blue butterfly pea flower teas, the appeal is in the presentation, having a gorgeous color to the tea. What saves this tea for me is that it makes a fantastic lemonade iced tea, pairing floral softness with the bright lemon, and makes for a very pretty looking drink.
I grew tired of waiting for this one so made my own with three ingredients-- Lemongrass, butterfly pea flowers, and purchased blueberry flavoring. Initially, I liked my rendition. After the novelty and newness wore off, I found my concoction insufficiently blueberry in taste. I'm glad I bought the real thing because the blueberry flavor is stronger. It is a simple but pleasant evening sip. I showed my nephews and niece the color changing trick of it too-- fun. :)

I enjoy this tea hot, but have forgotten and come back to it, was tasty even at room temp so would definitely work iced as well.

This tea has been so much fun. Even my husband, who calls tea 'dirty water' likes it and has asked me to make it for him. We like it best with lots of lemon; that really brings out the flavor. Updating b/c Adagio asked me to - My husband had me order 6 bags of this the last time it was available. He still hates every other tea.
They were correct a few drops of lemon gives it a little more. Very mellow, deep blue gentle flavor. if you are like me, 3 or 4 rock sugar gives it a nice edge also. 7 mins at 212.
I'm still figuring out the best way to brew this to really bring out the flavor, but I enjoy how delicate this tea is! The lemon and blueberry complement each other well, and the color is very fun.
What a fun and special blue tea. The blueberry and lemongrass pair nicely but I still felt it was a little lackluster until I added a touch of sugar. I was surprised how much that changed it for me, the sweetness brought out the flavors in great ways, making Bella Luna Blue a new evening-time, caffeine free favorite.
I bought this tea for my daughter who is enchanted with the beautiful color and the magic of citric acid. She loves the fruity floral flavor of the tea. I find it to be rather bland and will probably leave it to her.
So much fun! It's a tasty tisane with fabulous color, and magical if you choose to add a little lemon and watch it swirl and change color in a glass mug.
Light and refreshing... add a scoop of dry ginger for a zing! Gotta Love that blue color - makes it so fun!
