Not a fan. I get a slightly bitter aftertaste. I definitely prefer Gunpowder.
Usually, green teas aren't my first choice in teas, but this one is a very nice balanced green that lacks the overpowering notes that tend to put me off green teas. Very approachable, and as a bonus, it's very calming to watch the leaves slowly unfurl as it steeps
Wonderful aroma and flavor. When I made this tea using the Velocitea kettle it was heavenly. The color was darker than I thought it should be, but wow I was wrong. Fragrant, smooth, and soothing.
the best green tea I've ever had. I will make 2 cups (16 oz mug) out of a batch of leaves. I'm hoarding it because it is just that good.
My go-to everyday green tea. Sleeping Dragon is smooth with a full body texture that evenly coats your insides as you take a sip. Every cup relaxes your mind while invigorating your energy-- I drink 2 (10oz) cups throughout the morning. 1 TBSP of dry tea can be brewed twice, the first for 3 minutes, the second a bit longer at 6 minutes. My youngest daughter loves watching these tea leaves open up and dance within my glass pot--such a spectacle and sight. Relaxing in every way. A must-try for every green-tea fan.

A sweet, fruity but incredibly vegetable taste awaits those who have a cup. If you don't like green teas, this is definitely not for you, if you like them, this will be a new favorite. The curled-up leaves produce a golden liquor that smells exactly as it tastes.
Use a very low temperature with this one, or else the dragon will bite for sure. Not my favorite.
IMO this is like Tiekuanyin's younger sister. It has those similar very floral and rounded tastes, but it is less deep and more fruity. This is a lovely, very fragrant tea that is neither too floral, too fruity, or too grassy. So good. I've tried this cold and iced, love it both ways.
A very unique flavor of tea! Definitely good for multiple steeps; I've been able to make three cups with just one tablespoon.
Very nice tea. I love the smokey flavor that is delicate, yet can be robust depending on the water temp and amount of time steeped. Great as blends with herbal teas.
I am a black tea drinker but love 💕 this green dragon, I don’t get the bitterness that is usually associated with green tea ( my tastebuds).
This may be my favorite green tea yet! Visually, it's beautiful...the loosely rolled little buds that are a joy to watch unfurl (I love the word 'unfurl,' and well, anything that unfurls!) The taste, to me, is perfect. It has a buttery, spinachy, green flavor with only a hint of astringency. I can't wait to resteep this one. Will definitely be reordering a big bag of this when I run out of my other 800 teas! ;)
This is a great green tea. I don't always like the grassy taste of green but this to me is mild and very good. I prefer to drink this with or without sugar and with no cream.
I am just starting to get into green teas, so I ordered a sample of the Sleeping Dragon and the Vanilla Green. I usually prefer my teas sweeter, so to me, the sleeping dragon is on the astringent side. Perhaps with some sugar or honey, it may be better, but I will be sticking with the Vanilla Green.
Not too grassy and a light smokiness that is very soothing and enjoyable. one of my go to green teas and great for brewing my homemade kombucha as well~
I don't have much experience with green teas but I really enjoy this. Will definitely buy again.

Great green tea! It doesn't have any of the 'grassy' flavors that I usually dislike from matcha and other green teas. It also had an almost molasses-like note that I found interesting and enjoyable. Great for re-steeping as well, 2 servings last me the whole day and through 4 or 5 re-steepings!
Sadly this tasted nothing like gunpowder tea to me, instead it had the aroma of heated water weeds (not bad necessarily) but with a peculiarly bitter chemical taste. I'm certain of my water temp/brew time (180F/3m) so the answer given to the person who asked why it tasted like 'bitter broth,' below, doesn't apply. After half a cup this tea went down the drain & the remaining leaves have been discarded as I'm suspicious of them & will not add them to compost. Nasty!
I really wanted a good green tea that wasn't going to break my budget and this is that tea! Very flavorful, but not overpowering.

So, I relatively new to the tea game, but I thought I'd share my thoughts! If you're looking to get an idea of what Green Tea, this is a good place to start. I steeped using recommended temperature and steep time, and had no issues at all. I like to add a small bit of honey, just to take some of the twang off, but your mileage may vary.
So, what does it taste like! If you've never had green tea before, your initial smell/taste may tell your taste buds that it's grass. If that's the case, I'd recommend a little more honey, but more importantly, I'd recommend you keep drinking! Once you do, you're realize it's more than just a cup of cut grass water you're drinking. Like I said, I'm new to the game, but this is enjoyable. I'd say this is the equivalent of getting a good cup of coffee flavored coffee. It's good, and you enjoy it, and that should be enough!
I use this in my kombucha: I use 25g of this + 20g Scottish Breakfast into 10L of kombucha.
A subtle green tea without any grassiness. It makes a very nice if somewhat neutral tea when you want refreshment without distracting the tastebuds. A nice beverage with meals.

This is certainly one of those things I know some will like more than others. It's kind of tart and punchy? Despite the name, I could see this as a morning tea to wake someone up. Next time I make a cup, I'll add a generous amount of honey or orange blossom honey.
I use this for hot and iced tea. Hearty green flavor but still very smooth. Very good.

I wanted to be charmed because of the image the name gives, but this was very much like other green teas I’ve tried, nothing stands out to me but the name and picture, and that it became a bit harsh. Definitely a strong green tea but not what I was looking for.

A fresh-tasting tea with leafy accents, and is rather potent. Very relaxing. Goes great with a spoonful of local honey! A cup of this tea always puts me in a creative mood. I only bought a sampler, but I definitely am going to invest in a larger amount.
I wanted to like this tea, but it isn't my favorite. It had an astringent aftertaste that I just don't like. I know others who absolutely love that taste, but I hate it. If you like more astringent teas, this is a good one to try.
I've had several cups of this now, and I think I'm still trying to figure it out. It is good, but maybe a little too grassy for my liking, though not as grassy as others. It might be the water temp, I'm not really sure. I'll keep experimenting with it and maybe I'll find that sweet spot.
